The cottage was clean and comfortable with a nice view from the deck. The property was very quiet with easy parking. We were able to access the beach easily. All in all a comfortable stay. Definitely would recommend it for a couple. Might be crowded for more than two.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottage. It was even better than we were picturing from the website with unbelievable views from the back deck and a well maintained surrounding community. Scott made the check in process easy and even provided some local recommendations.The location was better than we thought as well. There was a walking path that led to one of the beaches and also a relatively short walk into town for shopping and dining.The only negative is that there was one area in the corner of the living room that had a bit of an ant problem. The cottage provided spray, but not sure if it really helped

Haven't been to the Cape in years. Was a beautiful, private cottage in unique enclave of a neighborhood. For the price, I think the hosts could have provided basic toiletries. We got one bar of soap. Go to Costco. Buy Body Wash, Shampoo, conditioner, etc. Kitchen had NO salt, pepper, etc. Not sure a hygiene thing or just cheap. At 300 a night I might have provided an Open Bar! That said, we enjoyed to property, the beach access and the little comforts!

We enjoyed our stay at Harbor Village, our 2nd. The cottage was clean and charming. The location is perfect for access to shopping, dinning and boarding the ferries for the islands. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. I can't imagine we will stay anywhere else for our next trip to the cape.

Wouldn't change a thing! Adorable cabin, super clean, had everything you could need, quiet and private, beautiful setting, and a wonderful host!

A perfect getaway

Beautiful cottage with all amenities. Clean and inviting. Steps from a beach and a few minutes drive to a variety of excellent restaurants in Hyannis. The manager, Shirley, was most welcoming and even provided furniture covers so that our spoiled dog could sit on the furniture. Will definitely return next year.

Disappointed

The view from the deck , and in fact the whole exterior of the house was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with it. Not because of the mouse droppings inside, nor the advertised linen service that was actually self service. The beach that was nearly inundated with plant life washing ashore wasn’t the issue either. It was that the interior of the house was devoid of any charm. The walls and kitchen were dull and worn. The carpets and carpeting was dirty, needing a deep clean. This was not the case of all the houses at Village Harbour. Initially were shown Whalers Watch and upon unloading our things into that house, I noticed it was very charming and in great condition. It’s too bad the property manager had to ask us to move out of that house and that she was unappreciative of the trouble we went to in loading all our things up, not long after unloading them into that house.

Admittedly this family was placed in the wrong house which was a 2 bedroom house instead of the one bedroom house that they reserved. As soon as I realized this he was moved to the right house. The management team assisted him in the move. This took a very short time since they had not unpacked. The next day there was the complaint that the house lacked charm. I showed him another house that could have been ready on Monday . I also gave the option to leave and find a vacation rental elsewhere. There was no response to either suggestion. The carpet is not dirty and there were no mouse droppings. Both of these complaints were brought to me on Friday evening as this vacationer attempted to negotiate a lower rental for the week. We are onsite management and handle all issues immediately when they they are brought to our attention.

Walk to the beach! Great getaway for a long weekend. Full kitchen and a gas grill outside to barbecue and relax on back deck. Easy check in and check out instructions. Cottage was ready early and host let us know. Cottage was bigger in person than what we were expecting! Great getaway and highly recommend!

The weather was perfect and you can walk to the beach.

The cottage was perfect we brought our dog there was a huge enclosed deck with a Weber grill.

Quiet and quaint with beautiful view

Beautiful little cottage with a view of a pond and the ocean. Walk down a short trail to the beach. Walk to downtown Hyannis is about a mile and an easy walk. We walked everywhere. Cottage was well equipped, clean and cozy. Quiet mornings on the porch with coffee. Has a gas grill for an outdoor dinner. The couple managing it was super helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Serene and Comfortable

This lovely little Cape Cod-styled bungalow is just right. I miss it still. It has nice decor and my sweetheart and I felt right at home. Its wonderful to come into Harbor Village (in a very beautiful part of Hyannis Port) and the owners and other guests will give you a wave or say hello. I found the owners to be delightful and helpful without being intrusive. I do enjoy some privacy and nights were peaceful. The property and individual rentals are all so beautiful and unique. I'm heading back in the Fall.
