Welcome to S’mores & Seclusion, our log cabin/happy place in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. From the moment you walk through the front door, you can’t help but fall in love with all of the quirky, charming details all around the cabin. The property is 10 acres, and we have marked out a trail to hike, which ends at a bench by the stream. The lovely porch, complete with porch swing, looks over the peaceful private woods of the property. When in season, there are over a dozen fruit trees in the yard around the cabin. We are located within a 15-20 minute drive to Honesdale, PA & Narrowsburg, NY.

Really enjoyed this property, the cabin was incredibly clean and well stocked with all the necessities - including all the fixings for s’mores! The porch swing is very enjoyable to just sit outside and relax, and listen to all the birds. It was a very easy and pleasant stay.

Excellent Stay!

Six of us were in town for a wedding at the nearby Venue at Carley Brook. Mary’s beautiful home was super clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated sitting on the back deck, taking in the views of the peaceful, quiet surroundings. If in town again we will be staying here for sure!

Cozy cabin weekend

Very comfortable and clean. Exactly what I was looking for in a long weekend away to unplug from the day to day. The host is extremely friendly and responsive. Definitely would rebook.

Wonderful Escape

A gem off the beaten path. So many thoughtful touches, from coffee to decor, made the cabin truly cosy and comfortable. Everything as described, if not better. Looking forward to returning!

Amazing Secluded Cabin

Very cute, nicely decorated and quiet cabin in a secluded area. We enjoyed our walk through the woods to the bench were we watched the stream and just relaxed. The Cabin was very well supplied with everything you would need and very clean. Definitely returning!!!

Peaceful retreat

The character of the cabin speaks for itself. It was a lovely place to unplug and spend quality time with my daughter. The owner of the property made us feel welcome and was extremely accommodating even before we booked. Overall this was a wonderful experience.

The cabin was not only immaculate, it was intriguing, charming and visually serene. A fairy tale setting, with its decor and imaginative artwork. Comfortable beds, peaceful scenery and seclusion. Our only company was the ever adorable Alvin and the chipmunks feasting on the many cherries while they chased eachother up and down the trees and across the expansive lawn. Songbirds seranaded us till the sun set. And the firepit was a delight, even in this heat wave! The hiking path led us through the forest to a sweet babbling brook. If you are looking for comfort and peace dont pass this cabin by. Thank you Joe and Mary. We plan to return in the fall!💕

Birthday Getaway!

This place is amazing, as advertised on VRBO, You and Nature and everything it brings, pure relaxation and peaceful, we walked the marked trail on the property to the creek very lovely but bring bug spay. The grill was used every day for meats as well cooking in that cute kitchen for breakfast and dinner. However I would like to mention main bathroom is in the basement, BTW is beautifully made not scary at all like other basements, washer and dryer is in the basement as well, playroom in basement also, so cute down there. NOT SMELLY at all, super clean, half bath upstairs in front of the half bath. Attic/ Loft is so cute , beds and pillows are comfortable, the rain sound on the cabin is amazing. Now keep in mind you will be going up and down stairs especially to shower, so anyone with knee problems has to think it twice. But it’s a great workout..LOL, For my husband and I was all worth it.,we enjoyed this Cabin, watching all kinds of birds, chipmunks, rabbits and deers was relaxing from the porch swing. I would definitely love to come back to this place. Thank goodness I brought my hand/ traveling steamer to iron my clothes. No iron in the Cabin. SOME suggestions to the owner: You need an ironing board and iron, you also need large bowls to season meats or to make salads, even baking pans, you need hand towels for kitchen, a toaster , a blender that crush ice to make smoothies or drinks. Other than that everything was perfect. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
