Zilker Paradise Found (w Pool & Downtown Skyline View)
Located less than 5 minutes from Downtown, this spacious designer 5-bedroom home is still tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood next to the 351-acre Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool. Our location is central to all the attractions that make people love Austin. Shopping on SOCO, kayaking Lady Bird Lake, famous BBQ, the best restaurants, quirky cocktail bars, live music…you name it! It’s all right around the corner from our house.
Rentals with cheap furniture and minimalist setups are a dime a dozen, but ours is filled with memories, not Ikea. This is a Home. It is cared for and loved. That is how we’d like you to feel during your stay, as well. We want it to be your Paradise Found.
The house is flush with luxury amenities for you to enjoy. Multiple fireplaces, a resort-style backyard, a private soundproofed theater room with an 80” SmartTV and a deep-soak bathtub in the spa-like 3rd floor bathroom are all at your disposal with your stay. In our large, open chef’s kitchen, we have all the cookware you could need. All three full bathrooms come fully stocked with travel amenities and you’ll find premium products from L'Occitane in the showers, as well. We also believe that no one should have to sleep on a cheap, uncomfortable mattress, so we hope you will be pleased with the ultra-plush beds that we’ve setup in all five bedrooms, as well as the blackout shades, to help you wake up feeling rested. The entire house is on a water filter, as well as a salt-based water softener, giving you refreshing water from the tap and showers that will leave you feeling soft and smooth. We've set out some bath bombs, with essential oils and shea butter, to enjoy with the deep soak tub in the main 3rd floor bathroom.
As soon as you step through the front door, you will discover two story floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the spacious open layout with natural light. Relax and enjoy your meals in the separate dining sunroom. Take in the bamboo-enclosed backyard, where you can take a dive in the pool, barbeque some steaks, sit by the fire pit, or lay out on the deck. On the 3rd floor, you can lock yourself away with a private den, fireplace, spa-style bathroom, and a bedroom that walks right out onto a shaded outdoor lounge. We also have the perfect place to unwind in the evenings. Head up the stairs to the full-sized rooftop patio and enjoy an unbeatable view of the gorgeous downtown skyline. It’s even better when there’s fireworks!
You'll have the whole place to yourself. Some drawers, cabinets, and a few closets have personal belongings in them but you will see they are marked as Private as well as being locked. Don't worry. There are still a ton of other closets and places for storage, should you need them. The garage is also closed to guest use.
We do ask that, when possible, you take your shoes off inside the house to keep the wood floors looking nice. We provide soft memory foam indoor/outdoor slippers to keep you comfortable around the house. They are always kept washed and sanitized. We also provide every guest with their very own pair of spa slippers, which you can feel free to take with you, as well.
I'd love to help make your stay as incredible as possible by helping with any recommendations, as well as tending to any needs/requests you have during your stay. I want your stay to be a memorable one!
In the beautiful and serene Zilker neighborhood, right off Barton Springs Road and next to Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, South Lamar businesses, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
Less than 2 mile drive from local amenities such as Zilker Park, shops and restaurants on South Lamar, the Green Belt, and Downtown Austin.
We do have some rules we all have to follow, as per City of Austin regulations on short-term rentals.
1) Outdoor spaces are in Quiet Hours between 10pm and 7am. Personally, we do also want to keep our neighborhood the peaceful retreat that it is and be respectful of our neighbors.
2) Parties and Events are not permitted. Therefore, we do not operate as a Venue and cannot host any more than the number of guests on the reservation. We would love to help you celebrate any special occasions you may be coming into town for, though.
3) The city has placed an occupancy limit of 6 unrelated adults. So, whereas our house can sleep 10, 4 of them would have to be related to reach that limit.
These are the rules we have to follow or be at risk of losing our required license, so we very much appreciate in advance your efforts to help us with this.
And our House Rules:
No guests under 25 (without parent or legal guardian).
No Pets. A Deep Cleaning fee will be charged if pets are inside the house.
No Bachelor parties.
No more than 15 total guests at the house at any time.
Please no pinning or adhering anything to walls, aside from with scotch tape.
If you intend to host unregistered persons at the property, you must disclose the number of extra people anticipated. The Primary Guest takes full responsibility for any damage caused by all other guests.
No more than SIX vehicles at the property (4 in the driveway and 2 street parking).
NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE, PLEASE. Smoking inside will result in a charge appropriate to the scope of the damage.
And please don't pee in the yard. (Yes, I actually have to state this, apparently)

*Every Guest, after the first 4, will incur an additional $50/night charge to the nightly rate. This is already built-in to the initial quote, when you enter the details of your stay, and will not appear as an additional charge. Undisclosed guests, however, constitute a violation of the rental agreement.
Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will be give a choice between deposit and damage waiver options. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

I work as a handyman most of the time and a lot of buildings I'm in operate as short-term rentals. There are so so many places out there that are just meant to let you get some sleep and provide the most basic of amenities. The name Paradise Found came from a desire to really make your experience special, one to remember, and also from the appreciation we have of this house. That's an appreciation we hope to convey and share with every guest that stays here. The house is sprawling, right next to downtown and Zilker Park, while still being tucked away in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. You should truly be able to relax here and leave feeling refreshed.

The home has a large in-ground pool, surrounded by a deck with 4 sunbathing chairs. There is a firepit and a grill outside, as well. Inside, you'll find a studio-quality media room, chef's range in the kitchen with gas grill and a plancha, 2-story tall windows in the living room, a separate sunroom that doubles as the dining room, a private den on the 3rd floor with access to a sheltered patio and our huge spa-style bathroom, a 700 sq ft rooftop patio with downtown skyline views, laundry facilities, and gas fireplaces on the 1st and 3rd floors. All bedrooms have blackout curtains and luggage racks. We feature premium body wash and hair care products in all the bathrooms, as well as a generous selection of self-care products. If you take the time to tour the house, you'll find custom designer touches in every aspect. It feels like a home because it is one, and we would like to share that with you.
