Private cozy cabin, 10 min drive to downtown Galena, close to Eagle Ridge golf and amenities. Night sky is perfect for stargazing. Custom granite counters in kitchen/living room with 75” smart TV. Newly renovated, private romantic cabin with high end appliances, granite kitchen and bath counters, knotty alder doors. Located on 500 acre working cattle ranch and commercial wine grape vineyard. Wildlife abounds: Bald Eagles, coyote, bobcat, deer, pheasant, raccoon, and turkey. Close to The General golf course. Hayride and vineyard tour available. Use the amenities of GTA Owner’s Club. .

Wonderful stay

This cabin was close enough to all we wanted to do, and remote enough to truly enjoy our time together. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and the quiet surroundings.

Country getaway

We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with our stay. The house is out in the country but on the edge of the Territories with access to all the aminities. We would stay here again!

Weekend Escape

The Cabin at the Ranch was as described with no surprises and excellent communication and recommendations from the host. It was the perfect spot to escape from the grind and relax for a few days.

Nice Getaway

Took my wife for a weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for us. 10-15 minutes from everything we did and had nice, quiet privacy. Check in process was easy and the property owner was very nice and easy to work with! Highly recommend!

The Ranch Shack

It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!

Rustic and Quiet

Loved this place. Bed is comfy. I like softer pillows, so will bring my own pillow next time. Had about everything you need for your stay. Elizabeth is a nice alternative to Gelina.

Last minute change

James upgraded us at the last minute, when the property that we booked had some issues preventing us from staying there. He was friendly communicative and the place was great. It turned out to be a better location than where we previously were supposed to be as well!

Lovely Anniversary Getaway

This cabin was just PERFECT! Had absolutely everything we needed was quiet and serene yet not remote. A quick 15 minute ride into downtown Galena. Fair enough a way to avoid crowds on a holiday weekend yet quick and easy to get to town. Loved seeing the steer on the lawn/pasture above and below the cabin. We had a tiny issue checking in, but the property manager was very responsive and took care of it right away. Highly recommend staying here

Simple checkin, lovely home. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed! The sleep just hits different out here. We loved how far removed we were yet how quickly we could still get into town. Very cool to see the rolling summer hills and big green trees and even hear the wildlife from afar at night when we arrived. We weren’t in the suburbs anymore ;) Even as a very tall couple we still had plenty of space to spread out. We reco Galena brewing - ask for Kyler!

Quick Weekend!

We truly enjoyed the stay. We spent most of our time on Mainstreet in Galena but were only a short drive from Dubuque as well. We will definitely stay again. The only downfall I noted…there was no air conditioner. It wasn’t a problem during our stay because it was still cool in the evenings and mild temps during the day.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and are coming back! Air conditioners are removed for cooler weather (as it was during your stay) and are now installed as the cool weather is over.
