If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to stay in Wichita you have found it. The apartment is part of a duplex with our home on the other side. You get 2 bedrooms, kitchenette/living area, private bath and laundry facilities in the apartment all for the price of hotel room. Off street parking on the gravel driveway to the right of the home. The entry to the apartment is there. Easy access to all the major highways. Pets may be accepted on case by case basis.

Please park in the gravel driveway to the right of the house. Entry to the apartment is there.

Everything was clean and it was comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and we were able to sleep peacefully. Owners live on property but the house is split. Didn't ever see them and could barely hear them.

The house is quaint. Easy to get to and right next to a highway so easy to get around. They don’t have a full kitchen which didn’t bother us. The bed is a little used as in dips in the middle and its really soft. We prefer a firm bed but this did not take away from the experience for us either just adding the info for others. Very sweet couple. We would stay again.

Weekend Getaway

My 13 year old daughter and I booked a weekend getaway to see one of our favorite artists. As a mom having a safe place was key for my selection. Knowing that Fran and Larry were right there if we needed anything was the reassurance I needed! Keypad entry was super easy, and the apartment was perfect and cozy. They live in a quiet little neighborhood in the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of downtown, convenient to all amenities. Highly recommend!

This is a very well thought out little apartment, lots of details that show the owners‘ thoughtfulness. In particular, the tiny little kitchen has a lot more helpful items than I would’ve ever suspected. We were able to cook there very easily.

Cozy apartment

My brother and I were visiting Wichita again after many years away. This place was very quiet and restful (except for the thunderstorm one night!)It was close to the freeways for our trips into town. The only thing I would add would be coffee creamers and sugars. The hosts provided cold water bottles and snacks upon our arrival which was very nice!The furniture is definitely older, but so are we! It was a comfortable place to land for a couple of days.

Quiet spot

It was a quiet neighborhood and nice location to where we were training. Was not a fan of all the dog hair and dust accumulated on the fans and floors in some spots. Wish I would have know it was a pet friendly place I would not have booked. I’m allergic to dogs so my allergies were in full swing. Overall a nice place.

Nothing too fancy which was just fine. Place was clean and the beds were wonderful. Little efficiency type of set up. Owners I believe are close by if something is needed, we were pleased. Look forward to coming back.

Lovely place

Our travel was by train it was a long tiring ride however Larry was very kind and kept the light on for use since we checked in after midnight. The apartment was clean and very cozy. The beds were perfection and OMG the shower after a long day of travel was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our stay Thank you Larry and Fran.

Quiet and comfortable.

Very easy to access. Surprised Wichita still hasn't paved the road, but that's the fault of the city. Never did figure out how to access local channels on the Roku TV. Really enjoyed our morning coffee and quiet retreat. Thanks much!

I got out ASAP

Says apartment in the listing. The 1/2 house outlets are not up to code, I couldnt charge a phone on a few outlets. Water wouldnt drain. I was told to have a refund on my additional days and I have yet to see that refund now 14 days later... really dishonest communication with VRBO and the person listing this house.

Work Trip

We LOVED Larry’s home! Such a cute little spot with very sweet host. They accommodated us to a last minute trip to Kansas for our team. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We love hosting VRBO travelers. We have been consumers for many years which helps us understand what makes a great stay. We began hosting about 3 years ago on sister sites. The experience has been fantastic and we love serving travelers as they have needs in Wichita.

This property is a large 4 bedroom 3 bath home. We used to host International Students and the extra space was used. Since we are retired and like to travel we did not need the this space so we converted to an apartment to accommodate traveling nurses during Covid pandemic. We started with a sister site and have recently added the listing to VRBO.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This apartment has a private entrance with a digital lock so that you can arrive at your convenience. Ample private off street parking. There is a very comfortable queen bed in main bedroom and 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom. The kitchen/living area make for a very relaxing comfortable stay. Access to the South Wichita is just a little over a mile away. Did I mention that you have dedicated workspace and very fast internet included for the price of a hotel room. We look forward to serving you in Wichita.
