Estate Home on at Lake of Egypt Sleeps 16 MAX

Executive six (6) bedroom home located on 1.66 acres with 537 feet of waterfront shoreline on Lake of Egypt. This home features three (3) Master Suites, three (3) additional bedrooms, six (6) full bathrooms, an expansive kitchen with a large island and a dining room, a sunroom, a screened in deck, a partially fenced backyard and the full walkout basement includes an additional full kitchen with a 10 ft island, another living and dining room and lots of room for entertaining. All of the master suites include large windows with an absolutely gorgeous view of the lake. There is a gentle slope to the dock which is perfect for sun bathing and swimming.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a family home and we do not allow parties or events. The maximum amount of people allowed is 16. Please make sure to list the number of people that are in your group. We do not allow any more people than listed on the booking. If these rules are violated it is grounds for eviction.

We had a great stay at Lake of Egypt with our group of 6 adults and 6 kids! The space was fantastic and everything was as pictured. The host was quick to respond when we reached out. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and enough dishes provided for our big group. Would stay here again!

We stayed here for 5 nights with our children and grandkids. We swam, went fishing, played games both inside and out. We Hiked Fern clyffs and went to an Alpaca farm. The beds and baths were clean and comfortable and there were plenty of gathering spaces. House also had all we needed for cooking meals. A great time was had by all.

Beautiful Lake House

Huge and beautiful lake house! Was very clean and well taken care of! Easy check in and good communication! We had 12 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect! So much to do! Highly recommend!

Amazing house!

This was a perfect house for our extended family to have a wonderful weekend together. We enjoyed the fire pit area, kayaking off the dock and spending time on the screened- in porch when we weren't out on the lake. We would love to come back and stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was so comfortable in every way! Loved the outdoor spaces. Even though the weather was very hot we sat each morning on the screened in porch. Perfect for our group of 60 something girls weekend 😃

Paradise Point is a paradise!

So many beautiful views of the water with an amazingly well equipped vast kitchen. This is a quality rental that just feels comfortable with beds to match and plenty of places to relax. The front porch, deck, dock and parking are just as inviting and spacious as the home. Highly recommended!

Family lake trip.

Loved the house plenty of room for everyone. My grandson is in a wheelchair it was very accessible. The decks on the house were very nice as well as the dock at the lake. Beautiful place! We are all ready planning our next trip.

Birthday surprise getaway

The house/property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. It looks just as pictured. We had 8 adults and 5 children there with plenty of room for everyone. The VRBO reps. we worked with Marcy and Chad were very quick to respond to a question we had once we arrived. We fished off the dock and hiked at Giant City which was only 1/2 hour away.

Fun Family Vacation at Lake of Egypt

Our family had a delightful stay at the lakefront property at Lake of Egypt. The house was spacious and perfectly accommodated all of us comfortably. The layout was well-thought-out with ample common areas for gatherings, and private bedrooms for those quiet moments. It was the perfect spot for some much-needed fun and relaxation. We took full advantage of the lake, going on boat rides. The kids especially loved seeing the lake & local wildlife. "We came as guests, and left as a family". We shared meals, stories, and plenty of laughs. Great host, great team managing the property

absolutely perfect!

We traveled here to celebrate my mom’s 70th with our entire extended family… 8 adults and 11 kids (1-15 yo). We were not familiar with Lake Egypt. but initially attracted to the general location in Shenandoah Forest with quick access to Giant City and a short (one hour) drive to Garden of the Gods. However, we ended up foregoing our planned day trips because the house and lake were just so perfect. The layout of the house is brilliant with tons of different options for sleeping arrangements to accommodate families with small kids, teenagers, and couples. There are several different gathering spaces that prevent you from ever feeling like you’re on top of one another, even with a very large group. Everything was clean, organized, and, many cases (e.g., light switches), labeled. I have stayed in many rental properties, and I can honestly say I’ve never been in one that was so well-furnished with cooking equipment. From the numerous crockpots to the abundant pantry and refrigerator space, the hosts really set up this place well for a low maintenance, getaway vacation. Location on the lake is fantastic, making it feel like you have your own private slice of the lake. We chose not to rent a boat, but rather to Swim off the large dock, use provided floats and kayak and our stand up paddle boards. There’s plenty of space to fish, swim, and enjoy the beautiful Lake views (wow!!) all at the same time. Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope to return someday.

44th Annual get together with our friends

Plenty of room for us. The kitchen was perfect. Everything we needed and enough table spaces. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch and on the dock. A fishing boat was brought down and fishing was done every day. A beautiful place with a beautiful view!

I've been all around lake of Egypt and this home has one of the best views on lake. Boarding the Shawnee National Forest, on 1.66 acre, this setting is very private. When in the backyard, 90% of the view is of Lake of Egypt and the Shawnee National Forest. The backyard is very large and the walk down to the lake is not steep whatsoever. It's definitely one of the nicest homes on the lake and is very well maintained.
