Welcome to On The Rocks @ Lake Wateree, SC. Come and enjoy the best that South Carolina has to offer right here. This home is set out on its own peninsula with two coves. Perfect for boating, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing while watching the best sunsets by the fire pit. We offer so much with your stay, you will not want to leave. This is the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of that nine to five life. We are minutes away from boat ramps, restaurants, and grocery stores.

So many options to relax outdoors!

What a wonderful location at the entry of a cove with pleasant breezes all day long and beautiful sunsets. We especially loved the covered dock with the swinging day bed and the hammock - great place to unwind and enjoy the waterfront sights & sounds. I highly recommend staying here. The house was very clean and the owners have provided so many little extras that really made our stay memorable.

A "Peace" of Paradise

This is a phenomenal property. So relaxing. The views are amazing. The house is spacious. There was an issue with the AC that we were made aware of, and it was fixed in a timely manner. Rob (the owner) was very friendly and great with communication.

2nd stay year and I will be back!!

We caught a ton of catfish!!! The firewood and paddle board were new from the last trip .. amazing time so relaxing and peaceful!! Thanks for letting us stay a second time !! The jacuzzi is also amazing to relax in after days full of fishing !! We will be back !!

Fall fishing trip

Great place for a for our fall fishing trip. Caught some nice catfish. Would love to stay there again. Met the owner, Rob, he was very nice.

This house was perfect for six adult men competing against 24 other 6-man teams on Lake Wateree. The house was clean, the kitchen was large enough to accommodate multiple guys doing numerous meal preps early, early in the morning and again in the evening making dinner after all day on the water. The bedrooms were plenty spacious and the bathrooms were sufficient and though no one used the Sauna it was nice knowing the option was available. Parking was spacious and easily accommodated three two vehicles, three 20 ft bass boats and two additional trucks. Competing annually in different lakes in South Carolina, it can be a challenge finding the right lodging to accommodate all of what we bring to these events. This place, however, was tops and if ever we make it back to Lake Wateree, it'll be the first place we check on for availability.

Lake House

Little Slice of Heaven

Great stay with all the amenities you would want. Anything from fishing to just relaxing! Take advantage of it all! Very clean and well maintained. Had all the essentials that you will need from cooking, washing clothes, and plenty of towels. Great views!

Mother of the Bride wedding weekend retreat!

I rented this home for a place to stay for my daughter’s wedding weekend. It was the perfect location being only 20 minutes away from the venue. It’s a great home with perfect views!

Awesome 4th of July on the Lake

This home is located in the middle of everything that you’d want to do at the lake. It’s easy to find and great dock location. There’s plenty of room on the inside and outside for all your activities. Will definitely be looking at going back. Thanks again for everything Rob.

Very nice home!

The house was very nice and roomy. Sadly it rained our whole stay so we aren’t able to enjoy the lake like we’d hoped. Robb was very nice and attentive during our stay. I accidentally left a few clothes in the home and he is nailing them to me!

Sitting out the Hurricane like weather

Mother Nature was cruel to us but thankfully the rental was stocked with plenty of games and things to keep everyone occupied. We would definitely recommend the rental to friends and family. Thank You, Stephen.

""" Two Nickels"" birthday

Jesus Christ made it possible for my husband and daughter to give me a beautiful "" lake house "" 2 Nickel"s birthday party...( age 55).... We.....Fish , Ate , Relax , and played checkers... Much needed get-away

The home, owners, area, sunset were all incredible. The beds are comfortable, there's everything you need (knives, coffee pots, plates, food containers, oven mitts, etc. The owners are so responsive, kind and helpful. The area is awesome. We loved The Beaver's Den the best. The sunset from this spot is truly remarkable. It was too cold to enjoy the kayaks but look forward to next time! Thank you, Rob and Samantha, for the much needed restoration.

Relax and reconnect in a beautiful setting

House is right in the water (no gazillion staircases) has beautiful sunsets - lots of nooks and crannies to retreat to as well as great spots to gather in. Kitchen is well stocked with great appliances and can handle many cooks at the same time, decor is welcoming, beads are great and house is very clean. Hammock and kayaks were the hit with our kids. Perfect family vacation on the water. Unfortunately we had to go back to our day jobs - or you would still find us there ;)

Parents get away

My parents celebrated their 50th anniversary and as a gift their 8 children rented this lake house for them. They loved the house and location and have asked to come back again. We plan to make that wish come true. Our host , Rob was always available and communicated promptly to any and all questions. This house is great for a quiet and relaxing get away and will meet all your needs. Thanks Rob for sharing your home.

Peaceful Easy Feeling

What a lovely house and location! We were in the area for a wedding and stayed extra days for some needed peace and quiet. On the Rocks was perfect! We had 4 in our party and had plenty of space for everyone and then some. The beds were comfortable and it was so peaceful. The sunsets were spectacular. So many good things about this location! We all agreed we hated to leave and definitely want to go back. Hosts were super responsive on any questions we had. We grilled, cooked great breakfasts (kitchen had anything you need), sat around the fire pit at night, roasted some marshmallows and had an all around lovely stay. Couldn't have been any better.

Wonderful lake front with everything you need! A+

This property is wonderful. It is right on the lake, and comes with everything you need. It is clean and modern, yet cozy. The kayaks were a hit, and fishing off the dock was fun! Lots of catfish so you’re almost guaranteed a bite. The deck and yard are full of sun. The beds were very comfortable! The only drawback is you are pretty far from a large store, but that tends to be true with most lakefront properties. Walmart/shopping center is only a 25 min drive- so not too far to go and stock up for your stay. Small gas station/ convenience store and a couple local restaurants are less than 2 miles away! Check in was a breeze… Def recommend this property!

Excellent spot on Lake Wateree!

Two of my cousins and our dads always spend 2-3 weekends a year catfishing down on Lake Wateree and we wanted to try a different spot this trip so we found "On The Rocks". I immediately liked where it was located as far as the drive, as well as on the lake itself. The house and property are very nice and you can tell the owners have put alot of love into it recently with the nice yard, deck, firepit area, and even the interiors. There is ample parking outside and we were able to park our boat trailer with ease, as well as 4 more vehicles. We mostly fished from shore since the lake levels are lower this time of year, so we had a large beach area for that and it was also a great place to build a fire to stay warm on the cold nights. All of the amenities are great, even if we didnt get a chance to use them all (covered dock, sauna, hammock, cornhole boards). We will absolutely be back in 2-3 months for some pre-spring fishing. We caught about 30 catfish for over 200 lb...all caught and released!
