Serenity Log Inn -Log out and Log Inn to Serenity

Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. This authentic 1930s log cabin offers two bedrooms, full bath, fully furnished kitchen and screened porch to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Located one mile from the historical town of Kimmswick and 25 miles from St. Louis. 5 min to hwy 55

There is a $30.00 fee per use of fireplace. Fee covers Firestarter, dry wood for burning, maintenance, and set up, plus$18.00 fee first use to cover clean up. Due to infestation of insects, no outside wood allowed. 24 hr notice required.

We have wireless internet with a strong router signal. HDTV Clearsteam 4 Max Antenna ensure local channels to 70-mile radius. Netflix and hulu available. You can stream your own video through Roku.

Guest access
Serenity Log Inn is a single level with one step to access the rear entry into the kitchen.

Other things to note.
Air mattress can be inflated using a small hair dryer located in the bathroom vanity.

Simply Amazing from the booking to the check in and check out. The experience was Priceless the cabin was stocked with breakfast and snacks plus super clean ! The host was Excellent.So much to do from the Zoo, Apple picking ,Grants Farm and the Beautiful town of Kimmswick.

Overall it was a great stay. Our hostess Dennie was fantastic. The only reason not to have all 5 stars is that we found the living room seating, although aesthetically pleasant, not very comfortable to sit in.

Spoke to our heart

My husband, sister and I stayed here for three days two nights for my grandsons first birthday. The place was perfect for the three of us. It brought back memories of our childhood and mom who passed away last year. So comfortable and peaceful. My sleep app actually said this was the best sleep I’ve had in months.

Amazing Trip

We really enjoyed the two days we spent at the Serenity Log Inn! It was clean, cozy, and spacious for our family of two adults and three young children. We will recommend it to our friends and would definitely come again!

Perfect home away from home

The cabin was very clean , spacious , loved screened porch . When we arrived , very soothing - light music was playing , kitchen is stocked with all essentials . The host also provided for breakfast . Dennie is prompt in communication . Enjoyed our stay .

Our Cozy Get-Away

We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back next year. The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is so warm and cozy and you feel right at home. Our host, Dennie, was absolutely amazing. My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about our stay. Let me put it this way wish we could have stayed longer! Next year we will!!!!

Great stay at this log cabin. Our host communicated everything well, replied promptly & courteously. Cabin was great, everything was clean and professional. There was even some nice music playing when we arrived!

Easy access to St Louis

We loved the cabin, it is a quiet setting. Lots of space to spread out and relax in the house or come together for games at the kitchen table.

Happy family adventure

We just did an over night stay but we would have liked to stay longer. For those of you who like to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee, this offers that amaizing front porch for just the occasion. The back boasts a rolling hill that drew our kids curiosity. The cabin was hospitality equipped to make you feel right at home. If we get the chance we will go back for a few days of exploration.

What a gem!

Dennie is an awesome host! She provided fruits, breakfast and snacks. How nice to walk in after traveling and enjoy such hospitality. The log cabin is every bit as charming and clean as pictured. The rooms are plenty big and the kitchen is well furnished. We also enjoyed the large amount of land that the cabin sits on. It was so peaceful and we really enjoyed the outdoors. The screened in porch offers a great alternative to being outside if the weather isn’t great. Dennie was prompt in getting back to us if we had questions. She is a delightful host! We will definitely return.

This is a unique one-of-a-kind hand-built Lincoln Log style cabin with every log specifically designed for its placement. I have been hosting for four years and I love what I do. My aim is to make guest feel comfortable and be delighted to make Serenity Log Inn your home away from home!

Guest Interaction: I give my guests space but am available when needed.
The cabin is equipped for your comfort and privacy. My living quarters are on the lower level in the mother-in-law quarters. Guests have their own private entrance. I work for the local school district and have an active social life so I'm not always on the premises but will be available to assist you with whatever you request via text messaging or email.
