House is a much older home. Outside could use some TLC but the inside is ok. Did have an issue with bugs, but nothing too bad. Note the guest room is a trundle bed. There is a lot of road noise from the streets nearby so bring a noise maker. Good location. FYI an uphill climb to town if you plan on walking.

The property itself was great. No issues at all, clean, well stocked, etc. the only issue is something there is nothing that can be done about but if staying with pets or small children the street the house sits on is very small and is very close to the house and people drive WAY too fast. But again, the house itself was great!

It was within walking distance of the town square, shops, and restaurants. There was a huge spider and web on the trundle bed. I realize it is impossible to keep insects out of the house, but this looks like it has been here a while.

Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Dahlonega! The house was incredibly clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything we could possibly need from kitchen supplies to plenty of towels and blankets. The location was perfect, just a short and scenic walk to the charming Dahlonega Square with its great shops and restaurants. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our vacation. Highly recommend!

Nice little place in town

Nice cozy place that feels like home! Nestled in town within walking distance from the square. Owner and manager were very pleasant folks. Nothing bad to say it is really nice quiet neighborhood yet close enough to get away. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get away for a bit and breathe in fresh mountain air. Definitely looking forward to our next stay! Thank You!

Perfect location, great hosts!

The location is absolutely perfect! Very short walk into the town. The hosts were very accommodating with having the place stocked with anything guests would need and allowing us early check in and great communication! The listing is a little misleading…the second “queen” bed is a small pull out couch that really was unusable because it was so thin and springy and uncomfortable. We ended up using the couch and our own air mattress instead. The place could also use a little more cleaning. But overall, very great stay!

Great location

Perfect location for us to walk to Dahlonega Square which we did several times during our stay. The check in and out process was very simple. The bed was comfortable and the house had everything we might have needed. Close to UNG to visit with our son at FROG week graduation. Plenty of space to set up a crate for our dog with convenient streets to take him on walks. We would definitely like to book again for future visits to see our son might need. Cloveeverversimple

Commissioning & Graduation Weekend

The location of the home was wonderful for us to walk to UNG campus for the many activities we attended for my son's Commissioning and Graduation . Also, easy walk to the town square to enjoy live music!

Perfect location

This place had all we needed. Wonderfully decorated with a neat and simple charm. The property manager and host made our stay a pleasant one. The location was just a few short minutes from the town square where you will find lots of shops and plenty of treats as well.

Such a nice little home, super convenient to the town square

My wife and kids were going to visit my father in law and stay at his cabin up the road in Dahlonega but after seeing this cute little home, they wanted to stay with me the entire time! Family enjoyed the fire pit, the convenience to restaurants and everything the town square has to offer. If you are looking for a cozy, inviting property close to town then I highly recommend this property.

Weekend Getaway

The house was clean, and well appointed. Edward was quick to respond to requests or issues. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the property manager had us in the house within 5 minutes.

Perfect family vacation spot!!

We had a lovely stay at Edward’s place!! He was very effective in communication and went above and beyond to locate a pack and play for our daughter so that we didn’t have to haul ours from our home in Virginia. His home was very clean and well equipped. It was a short walk to town but unfortunately we didn’t get to take advantage of that because of the weather. Otherwise I think it would’ve been a beautiful walk to town with some small hills, probably not taking more than 10 min. Edward truly went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and we couldn’t be more grateful!! Thank you Edward! We’ll be back!
