Loved every minute!

The property was amazing overall! Perfect family vacation spot. Especially loved the quiet hours with having little ones going to bed early. Family friend, pristine property, and property management was engaging and really welcoming to the community activities. We'll be back for sure next year!

4 day trip with spouse and our dog. Stayed at Cinnamon Shore for 3 night. Excellent property. Walk to beach. Had a pet friendly room. No issues with check in/out.We will come back this fall,.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff was amazing and super friendly. Everywhere we went everyone was nice and accommodating. It was clean with access to great amenities. We did the beach chairs/umbrella and Beach golf cart. HIGHLY Recommend both. Improvements: TV was impossible to figure out for relaxing in the evening so posted directions would have been helpful. We also had a hard time navigating the food locations for times being open especially since we went off season. It would be super helpful to have gotten a print out of current hours when we checked in. We flew in and wish beach towels were provided due to packing limits. Also lots of mosquitos mostly on patio seating so bring bug spray!

Cons: the beds are very firm not the most comfy. right next to the concert stage so you will hear the whole concert until 9:30 when they stop. other than that the property is relatively quiet.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The area in its self is lovely. The property we rented left a little to be desired. The faucet in the kitchen was hard to turn off and often times just leaked. The facuet itself was not moveable so it was hard to wash anything in the side sinks. Their were no large pots for our use so had to do a shrimp boil in several smaller pots. All dinnig chairs have been replaced with metal chairs which are hard to sit on for any length of time. The microwave would not allow up to program for cook level so it was hard to warm things up without cooking them. The liners in the bathrooms need to be replaced due to mold. The beds were comfy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean and comfortable and in a good location, but it's showing its age. Freezer temp was all over the place - warm when we arrived (our ice cream softened almost to the point of soup) and then leaked into the fridge after adjusting the temperature (I guess the defrost?). Some doorknobs were tricky to operate. The oven light stayed on. The kitchen faucet dripped if you didn't angle it JUST right. And the knives hardly cut our watermelon. Some First World Problems, for sure, but we expected better.

Reviewer Comments: The rental was nice overall, but we experienced varied problems, including not enough towels for party of 4 specified, ceiling lights that were all different hues, flickering light in the bathroom that was never fixed and was very dim, refrigerator leaked water from the ice maker into the main compartment and the air conditioner went out on the last night of our stay. When we arrived to the unit, the door locks didn't work and we waited >35min with our luggage by the door for someone to come from the office, but ended up driving over to get a key. The outside building lights were also not working down the entire 2nd floor of the building making it very dark at night and a possible fall hazard without our phone light.

Great Trip with a Fee Bumpss

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn’t make it in the first night for our stay because the road had been closed due to an accident. Luckily the Best Western in Port Aransas had one room left for us to stay. Cinnamon Shore after hours line had no response and the front desk did not seem to care. The condo was great. Perfect size for my family with cute decor. The bed frame in the master bedroom looked like it was about to break and the light in the main bathroom flickered, which drove me a little crazy. The oven light wouldn’t turn off, but it made for a fine night light. The last night of our stay, the air conditioner (which he hadn’t touched) decided to break at about 11pm and blow hot air. Obviously a problem on a hot July night. This time, the after hours line DID respond, but a repairman’s estimated arrival was ~1:30am. Hard pass. We turned everything off and just slept uncomfortably. We informed the front desk upon check out, but her response was “Perfect!” It was not perfect. Our last stay at CS was easily a 5 star. This one was a 3 star, at best.

There was Netflix, Disney+, and prime ready for use. Ice maker was full, washer dryer was convenient. No high chair or pack n play, but it was clean and bright! Would visit again!

Another Enjoyable Trip To Cinnamon Shore

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Cinnamon Shore since they opened in 2007. This last trip, we stayed at Tara Dunes condo. It was very nice and clean, and nicely furnished. Plus since it's a pet friendly condo, we were able to take our little dog with us. It's within walking distance to Lisa Bellas, Dylan's Pizzeria and Coffee Waves coffee shop. It's also nice to have the Market close by to run in to pick up ice, beer, wine, etc. We always enjoy our stay a Cinnamon Shore and totally enjoyed our stay in the Tara Dunes condo.

The condo was very nice and suited our needs well. In addition to the beach, the two pools were great, especially for our 2+ year old. We saw a rainbow on the last night, bringing our stay to a perfect end.

Also, kitchen counter tops were not clean and the extra blankets were not clean either. We washed 2 of the blankets for our use. The dryer does not dry clothes as it should. Maybe problem with heating element. Location of property was great.

Great place for a young family beach trip!

We loved our stay here! The unit was clean, nicely furnished, and conveniently located very close to the Cinnamon Shore restaurants and activities. As we have three young children, we loved that the unit was single story (no stairs to worry about) and did not have bunk beds (as we knew they would be too tempting for our 2-year-olds to try to climb!). We could easily walk to dinner, pools, outdoor movies, and even the beach, though the golf cart rental option through Cinnamon Shore is nice for carting beach gear and slow-moving children. :) Note for renters, as we were unsure: plan to BYO beach towels (or buy cheap ones from the souvenir shops on the way into the community). Pretty much everything else you could need was provided. We would definitely come back!

Lovely community

Well maintained community. Everything is fresh and clean. Because of how many homes are there it is a bit congested. Our unit was lovely and comfortable but in an undesirable location. Will return but not to the unit we had because of location.
