A Mediocre Stay

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was perhaps one of the most run down properties we've experienced at CS. There were only a few old beat up towels in the whole condo, the oven set off the smoke alarm every time, the dryer didn't dry, there were very few kitchen pots and pans, and it sounded like a plane was landing on the ceiling all day every day.

Happy Place

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo is great, super convenient. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. The door keypad was dead on arrival, maintenance came and had to put a whole new lock on but they were unable to figure out how to get it programmed so we were unable to use the keypad for our whole stay. The smoke detector kept going off when we attempted to use the oven even though nothing was burning, maintenance was alerted but it was never confirmed if they fixed it. The dryer kept shorting out and turning off like it was overheating, maintenance came by and it turned back on but we had the same issue and had to let it cool down to get it restarted every cycle. The unit seems like it could use a little updating but overall we had a fun stay and the amenities can’t be beat at cinnamon shore.

Enjoyed the live music from the balcony on Friday and Saturday evenings. Love the property and all the amenities! The condo itself needs some care, such as the master sink was clogged. Also, both bedroom mattresses are HARD and not comfortable at all! The washer needs a tub clean due to mold buildup. We could smell it as soon as we walked in. Closing the lid definitely helped.

Still Pretty Good

Reviewer Comments: Word to the wise: make sure that the fan in the secondary bedroom is off before you let your kid climb up to the top bunk bed because it overhangs about half of the bed and WILL hit your kid right in the face. Moreover, as noted in the description, the bed in the primary bedroom is a queen-sized bed, so keep that in mind if you are used to a king because it will feel very small. Between this and the hazard that is the bunk bed, I would definitely recommend that the owner get new furniture. Overall, this was not my favorite unit that I have stayed in at Cinnamon Shore, but still pretty good. Lots of pictures of the owner and her family scattered throughout the unit so it definitely has the feel that you are staying at someone else's place while you are on vacation, which is not like the other units I have stayed in at CS.The unit itself is well air-conditioned, has a very cute turtle motif, and an excellent TV/Internet setup.

We Found Our Happy Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My Happy Place is a spacious and well appointed/well maintained two bedroom condo right on the town green! We loved getting to see/hear the concerts right from our own porch. When we arrived there was some water leaking in the bathroom from the air unit- we called and maintenance was there in under 10 min. Maintenance was courteous and fixed the issue promptly. My only very minor complaint is that often there were other cars/golf carts parked in our designated spot. We usually could find general parking close by so we did not end up calling to report it.

Perfect Getaway Weekend

There is a queen bed and a bunk bed that includes twin, queen and trundle bed. Everything was well kept and cozy for our winter beach getaway. It is also steps away from the Cinnamon Shores pavilion and restaurants. Hope to go back soon! Thanks Cinnamon Shores!

A Slow Deterioriation

Reviewer Comments: After vacationing at Cinnamon Shores over the last several years, it was more apparent on this trip that Cinnamon Shores is slowly deteriorating. The property we stayed in had several maintenance issues upon entering the premises. Cinnamon Shores Property Management did address some of the lights that were out in the property but failed to adquately address drain issues in the bathtub and the broken dishwasher door. You can definitely tell that the cleaning and maintenance services are cutting corners. While we have enjoyed our time at Cinnamon Shores over the last several years, I think we will be seeking a new location to stay at in the future. There look to be several new luxury properties that have cropped up right around Cinnamon Shores.

Mother’s Day Retreat

One negative was that the trundle on the bunk bed comes out at an alarmingly quick speed, it clipped my sons toe and his WHOLE toe nail came off!!!!! It made for a bummer time for us because he was sore and couldn’t go to the beach/pool. The condo is cute and centrally located tho.

Small things would have made it perfect

I’ve been coming to CS since the beginning and the one thing I noticed is the maintenance of the grounds is not happening. The dead plants from the freeze everywhere not trimmed looked bad and un-maintained , piles of leaves and palm branches in the parking spots and some roads, light bulbs out in the stair wells between floors making it difficult to see , a bit in safe. Drip Coffee machine broken in rental. Towels supplied in only one bathroom. For $550 a nite I expect a four seasons like experience. Overall good, not a great experience.

Great Condo Weekend Getaway

We live in Houston, and we’re looking for a friendly, clean/safe (Covid-19 considered), get away as a family of three before we become four at year end. Cinnamon Shores is a true hidden Texas gem and the condo did not disappoint with both elevator and direct stair access to the second floor, the balcony was safe enough for a toddler to play on, walkable restaurants, heated pools, and just a few more steps to the beach. We will be back!

Condo great! Onsite Golf cart -awful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was immaculate and well designed. No complaints. The on-site golf cart service was atrocious! We had to trade in 4 yes FOUR golf carts ) is (1- no headlight broken, 2- Bluetooth broken, 3- no pull COULDNT get up the hill to beach, 4- broken tail light) they were progressively more rude to us when we brought it back. Suggest any company besides their onsite golf cart company!!
