Our host was fantastic and extremely accommodating. I booked here to be close to Parris Island for my sons graduation. Having no knowledge of the area in advance, I was thrilled when we arrived. So close. It took us less than 5 minutes to get to Parris Island. When we arrived we were able to see the lights of PI across the water, as a mom waiting to see my new marine, it was incredible to know he was literally right there, I took so many pics knowing my boy was almost in reach. Perfect spot, EXTREMELY accommodating and helpful, even had chairs right there to bring with us for the day. Literally everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this property!

Nice and quaint

This house was actually quite nice. The back deck with table and chairs was great for our early morning coffee and late sunset outings. My son was graduating from the Marines and to get back-and-forth to the family day activities was only 10 minutes, which was great. The house was further back from the main road, which gave us a sense of privacy. And the view from the living room was to die for. There was a slight odor in the house, and the landscaping could have been better up-kept but overall it was definitely worth the price. I would recommend and would stay again.. The host was very good at giving us all the info needed for this stay

A Great Getaway to Remember!

Susan's "Waterway Getaway" was everything we expected and more! The house is flooded with natural light, but the bedrooms have black out shades for sleeping in or taking an afternoon nap. We found this feature very considerate and a rare find in rentals. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and furnishings are tasteful, comfortable with lots of very cool original art decorating the walls. The outdoor deck was perfect for evening meals and there's lots of green lawn around the property, a very tranquil setting. Of course, the marsh and water views are phenomenal! So many birds: song birds, wading birds and we actually saw two bald eagles fly overhead late one afternoon. Best of all, this little gem is pet friendly, so your furry child is always welcome. Many thanks to Susan, the very personable and accommodating hostess, for making this getaway one to remember — we'll be back!

Beautiful View

The location was wonderful and very relaxing. It was such a pleasure watching the tide change and all the bird activity was entertaining. The rental was comfortable for our stay, very quiet. We’re we to visit Port Royal again, this is where we would stay.

Get away

We stayed here to attend my grandson’s graduation at Parris Island. This place is a gem. The unit is clean/spacious, the host is responsive and location is beautiful.

Perfect for what we needed

The house is roomy and cozy, we enjoyed our stay with our pup. It was very easy to get to Parris Island, we were there for our son’s Marine graduation. Easy contact with owner for any questions. Nice view in the back also! 😁

USMC Bootcamp Graduation

We were in town with our family to attend our son’s graduation from USMCRD! The location was perfect for this occasion! We had everyone with us including the dogs. Plenty of room nice view and ample parking. Susan was wonderful in answering all my questions prior to the trip. Thank you for making a stressful trip wonderful! I would recommend this house and world stay song if in the area.

Lawn not mowed. For the most part it was very nice. I liked the sunflowers and decor. The owner was quite thoughtful. A couple of times we smelt sewer, but it dispersed quickly. A handheld shower head would have been nice, easier to rinse off. I wanted to thank her for everything but did not know how to reach her. Very comfortable!!

Convenient to everything and a great view

Overall we had a nice trip. The place is a short drive to lots of fun places to visit. You can ride bikes to Cyprus Wetlands, Sands Beach and to the downtown town area of Port Royal.

Great pet friendly stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean. The view off the back patio was beautiful. Our pup loved the fenced in dog run and sitting inside looking out the patio doors enjoying the sights. The location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. We especially loved how close we were to Sands Beach!

Marine Corps Boot camp

This place was perfect in every way! Clean and comfortable 3 bdrm 2 full bath home. Back deck scenery is Parris Island and perfect. Less than 10 minutes away and perfect for graduation! Publix grocery is close by along with some nice places to eat. The owner communicates quickly a f is easy to get in touch with. If we ever make it back this way, would would definitely rent again from Susan.
