Escape the hustle/bustle of the city and immerse yourself in stunning views! Family-friendly pool home, located 15-20 minutes from the Beaches, SJU Airport, Plaza Las Américas, Mall of San Juan, T-Mobile District, a variety of restaurants, museums/theatres and more! Strategically placed just outside of the hotel/tourist district in an authentic Puerto Rican neighbourhood, and only 40 minutes to the El Yunque Rainforest.

Serene, private gated tropical escape with ample parking, offering four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The space comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests.
THE SPACE
✵ Primary Bedroom: King-sized bed, split system A/C, ceiling fan, large dressing area, spacious modern bathroom and balcony with views of the hillside and a glimpse of the ocean on the distant horizon.
✵ Bedroom 2: Queen-sized bed, dresser w/ mirror, room-width closet, and split system A/C.
✵ Bedroom 3: Queen-sized bed, room-width closet w/ mirror, and split system A/C.
✵ Second upstairs full bathroom: Fully renovated with tiled walk-in shower
✵ Bedroom 4: Full/twin bunk bed, ceiling and wall fans, split system A/C., room-width closet w/ mirror, small table and 2 chairs, storage bin w/ board games, books etc.
✵ Main floor living area: Two extra capacity air conditioning units.
✵ Kitchen: Newly renovated, fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, range, and coffee maker. In addition, there are pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, toaster, etc.. A colossal marble dining table seats up to 10 people.
✵ Additional half bathroom: located on the main level.
✵ Living room: Upscale sectional, coffee/end tables, Smart TV (remember to bring your Amazon Firestick and Netflix/Hulu passwords).
✵ Outdoor backyard patio area: Private, covered, with step access; patio sectional and table overlook the pool, lush landscaping, and mountain views.
✵ Pool: Private, and All Yours! Maintained on a weekly basis, NO HOT TUB/ Jacuzzi. Relax and cool off in the pool with a Spill-over Waterfall Feature, overlooking the majestic views.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests will have access to the whole property except for two upstairs closets, the carport area storage room, and the outdoor pool/maintenance equipment storage room. * Guest laundry is not provided for stays.
Co-Host is bilingual (Spanish/English) and available when needed.
The entire property is gated and is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a calm, quiet residential community. It is at the top of the hill, offering panoramic views. The street is paved and illuminated at night.
The house is about a 15 to 20-minute drive from the San Juan Airport. Several popular beaches are also 20 minutes away ( Playa la Posita de Pinones, Playa Isla Verde, Carolina Public Beach ...etc). It is very near (within walking distance) to a major grocery store (open 24 hours). Drive 10 minutes to the Mall of San Juan (great restaurants as well as shopping) or 20 minutes to the Outlet 66 Mall. There are many restaurants, stores, pharmacies, and banks nearby.
At Hillside Oasis, you will be surrounded by nature and the sounds of wildlife, including the Coqui (native frog), birds, insects, lizards, etc. Some community residents have dogs that may occasionally bark. This is, of course, beyond our control. Please keep windows shut to keep the house cool and to prevent bugs from entering.
* Events/parties are not allowed
* Extra guests are not allowed
* Pets are not allowed
* No loud music, Quiet Hours after 10 PM
* Smoking is not allowed on the premises
* There is no a BBQ grill at the house
* Pool rules are strictly enforced and must be followed
* Currently, there is No washer and dryer available for guest use.
However, several laundromats are within 6 - 8 minutes of the home and are listed in our Guidebook at the house.
* Please review House Rules prior to booking. Upon booking, it is assumed that all rules have been read and accepted by the guest(s).
HOUSE RULES
We value our guests. To keep our Oasis in excellent condition so that it can be enjoyed by all, we kindly ask for the following:
* Reservations must be made by an adult 25 years or older.
* A picture of a Government-issued ID MUST be received from the person who booked the stay ("Booker"), immediately after the Booking/Reservation has been confirmed.
* Host reserves the right to cancel the Booking/Reservation should a picture of the Primary Guest's ("Booker") Government-issued ID (legible, non-redacted, unmodified and unexpired only) not be received within 24 hours of booking confirmation.
The Primary Guest’s VRBO profile name must match exactly the name on the Government-issued ID provided to the Host. If the VRBO profile name does not match the Government-issued ID, the Host reserves the right to cancel the Booking/Reservation at any time, including after confirmation, in order to comply with identity verification and safety requirements.
* Only registered guests are allowed on the property. NO Extra guests are permitted without prior Host approval. The reservation is subject to immediate termination without a refund, and a $250 fine may be assessed.
* CANCELLATIONS: Please check the Listing for the Cancellation Policy. Travel Insurance is highly recommended, as refunds will not be issued for reasons including, but not limited to, adverse weather, pandemics, flight cancellations/delays, or other instances beyond the Host's control.
* Please be considerate and check out on time. We may have a same-day Check-In, and our cleaning crew will need every minute to clean and prep for our next Guest.
EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: Due to short turnaround times between guests, requests for Early Check-in or Late Check-out will be considered on a case-by-case basis and incur an additional charge. The minimum charge for Early Check-in or Late Check-out will be $60.
* SMOKING IS PROHIBITED on the premises. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, vaping, etc.* Illegal Activities or Drug Use of any kind are Prohibited. Any evidence of smoking or illegal activity will result in immediate cancellation of your stay without a refund, and a $250 fine will be charged.
* PETS are NOT ALLOWED. Some of our staff members have severe pet allergies. Any evidence of Pets brought onto the premises will result in immediate cancellation of your stay without a refund, and a $250 fine will be charged.
SECURITY CAMERAS: For safety and security, outdoor Security Cameras are located on the sides, rear, and front of the house. These wide-angle cameras point from the house outward and have views of the right, left, front, and rear of the house and yard. All devices are operational. If security cameras are disconnected/readjusted/covered, or otherwise obstructed, the reservation will be subject to immediate termination without a refund, and a $250 fine will be charged.
*Do not touch or disconnect the Internet Router and other WiFi-enabled devices. The reservation will be subject to immediate termination without a refund, and a $250 fine will be charged.
* Guests will be solely responsible for logging out of their personal streaming accounts before checking out.
Please Note: Power, internet and water outages can occasionally occur in Puerto Rico. This is generally temporary and beyond the owner's control. There will be no refunds/discounts due to power, internet or water outages.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY: Although we make every effort for you to peacefully enjoy your stay with us, please note that we do have occasional requirements to access the Property for such things, including, but not limited to, city or insurance inspections, security camera repairs, pool, yard and property maintenance and/or emergency repairs. We will communicate to you via the App, email, phone, and/or text in advance, in the event that we require access. We reserve the right to access the Property at all times, with or without prior notice and with or without the Guest’s presence.
*The POOL is off-limits after 10:00 PM every night. No exceptions!
** Guests must comply with all pool regulations noted below or posted at the house **
* NO lifeguard on premises - Swim at your own risk.
* The Pool Depth is 6 ft 6 inches at its deepest point. No one who is unable to swim or is not wearing a life jacket should enter the pool.* The Emergency Life Preserver is for Emergency Use Only and is not a toy. *Guests must allow access to the pool for its scheduled weekly maintenance. * Children must have an adult present and be supervised at all times when in or around the pool. * NO Diving * NO Running, Pushing or Rough Play in or near the pool *NO glass or food in/by the pool *NO Jumping off of the water feature *Anyone not toilet-trained must wear properly fitted, clean disposable swim pants/ "swimmers" in the pool *Anyone who has diarrhea may not use the pool *If arriving from the beach or trails, please remove any sand or dirt before swimming (A water hose is located at the side of the house)
* TOILETS/Septic System – Flush only toilet paper. NO baby/make-up wipes, NO flushable wipes, NO paper towels, and NO feminine products should be flushed at any time.
*Any lost/missing remote controls or keys will be charged $50 each.
*Please TURN OFF all A/C units and lights when not at the property.
* Please keep the area clean, remove garbage from the house, and place it outside in black garbage cans. If you are cooking, please wash your dishes.
* Guests shall not use the premises in such a way as to violate any law or ordinance, commit waste or nuisance, annoy, disturb, inconvenience, or interfere with the quiet enjoyment of others/ local residents.
* Property owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that may occur while on the premises or outdoors, including the pool. Additionally, the property owner is also not liable for the loss and/or damage of the Guest's valuables and/or personal belongings.

There are so many things to do in the area from bird watching to live music entertainment. Visit the Rain Forest and cool off under waterfalls. Come savour the taste of rum at the Casa Bacardi Factory or visit the Puerto Rico Museum of Art. Geer up for hiking, cave exploring, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, horseback riding, ziplining and so much more.

Trujillo Alto is located in the Northeastern region of this beautiful island. Although it is a short commute to the capital of San Juan, it is a breath of fresh air surrounded by nature, bird noises and tranquillity.
