Bright and Airy Shipwatch Condo Right on The Beach!

Introducing 1380 Shipwatch, a freshly updated 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo in the Destination Amelia inventory! The living space and balcony overlook the Atlantic Ocean and manicured green space in Shipwatch Villas, an oceanfront complex in the private, gated Amelia Island Plantation. Enjoy convenient access to Amelia Island's famed dunes-swept beaches, the Shipwatch complex pool (seasonally heated), and a cookout area for picnicking.

Both bedrooms, the two full bathrooms, and laundry area are located on the downstairs level of this two-level condo, offering extra peace and quiet for those travelers who relish slow mornings. The primary bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and full attached bathroom with a renovated, walk-in shower. The second bedroom is very similar with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and a full bathroom across the hall. The laundry room is right around the corner.

All fresh bed linens are provided for our guests, along with bath and beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped and high-speed WiFi access is complimentary.

Guests can also enjoy the miles of walking and biking trails in the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP.) This sprawling 1,340-acre gated community is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches.

Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered nearby at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. The closest golf courses are Little Sandy and Oak Marsh but there are many other nice courses in the area.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guestbook is provided with thorough property information and a local area guide sharing our favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

We had a wonderful time! The condo is equipped with a lot of kitchen utensils. The bed is comfortable. The furniture and decor is beautiful and up to date. We would love to stay here again!

Two weeks of paradise

This is a lovely property within the beautiful Amelia Omni Resort. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with the lush landscape of tropical Florida in the foreground. Great restaurants and shops abound in the area. Many were in walking distance. We like to combine our outings with meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped. We look forward to coming back!

Met all expectations... wonderful proximity to the beach, and the pool was well maintained. Beautiful view from the balcony of the living room. The rest of the resort property was not of interest to us, so not having that access didn't matter.

Great spot. Quiet relaxation

Easy check in and quality furnishings. Only two negatives are no fans at all even in bathrooms and elevator does not let you off at your door. You must carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs. Lots of stairs to negotiate again to the beach. Suggest renting chairs and umbrella.

Beautiful updated condo in the Omni resort

We really enjoyed this condo on Amelia Island! We've vacationed at this resort for 20 years now, and this was the nicest condo we have rented. Many have not been updated, but this one was fully renovated. Really liked having a powder room on the 2nd floor. The balcony is huge with a great view. Plenty of seating in the TV area. Bathrooms are nicely done with very good showers. We hope to rent this unit again in the future.

Amelia Getaway

The condo was conveniently located within the Omni grounds and we were able to walk to the local shops, mini golf course and restaurants on the resort. The condo is beautifully furnished and is only steps away from the pool designated for the Shipwatch complex. In spite of our stay coinciding with the busy holiday week, we had no issues finding a place to sit by the pool and the beaches were uncrowded. We enjoyed the charcoal grill one evening for a cookout, loved the turtles meandering around the complex and appreciated the two beach chairs and beach umbrella provided by the condo owner. Destination Amelia was also very helpful in making recommendations for local amenities, like golf courses and fitness centers. Highly recommend this unit!
