You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Relax and unwind in this spa themed, efficiency style room at Neptune’s Grotto, Old Florida Adventure Retreat, overlooking the river and spring. Take a leisurely paddle with the provided kayaks and explore the natural old Florida area and pristine waterways. Inside of the room you’ll find a queen size bed, kitchenette and a spa like bathroom w/ a jetted tub. Enjoy the on-site beach with your favorite beverage watching the sunset.

Great Weekend

Great Location and all the amenities needed. The kayaks being available were an added bonus. We will definitely be staying in Neptunes Grotto again in the near future.

Worth it

This place was so cute and perfect for what we were looking for. The rooms are adorable! We stayed in the sirenity. Everything was clean and cute. The amenities are great. We enjoyed kayaking, the fire pit and just hanging out in the little beach area enjoying the view. We will definitely be back!

One night stay, my grand daughters LOVED the flamingo house! Serenity room was just as described. Nice people running the place & quaint location. Exactly what we were looking for!

Little getaway

Comfortable and everything I needed. The kayaks were also easily manageable, was able to get in and out with out any help. Appreciated the coffee kcups as well.

3 Nights while checking out the area

We enjoyed the room and all the thought out details that went into it. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed about was that we didn't have time to enjoy the kayaks provided. We weren't sure but apparently any of the kayaks in the yard area are available to use during your stay. Some information on the surrounding area for things to see and do as well as housekeeping items such as trash disposal and checkout procedures would be a great addition!

Neptunes “Got to Go”

I beg that anyone who is thinking about going here does not. This is a decent location located right next to Weeki Wachee. However, “Neptunes Grotto” has to be one of the worst places my girlfriend and I have ever stayed. The door to our room would not lock and the landlord did not seem to mind or make any changes. The room stinks like mildew and the bed sheets were covered in dirt, hair and stains. Please save your money and go somewhere else. We were there for maybe an hour and packed our stuff and left. The site is very misleading and there is a guy who lives on that property in a camper, right outside your room(that doesn’t lock) With cases of beer and beer cans all around the camper. If I could give this place zero stars I would and I am not someone who leaves reviews very often. Just hope to help someone in the future looking for a nice vacation spot.

Great owner, great room

Sirenity is wonderful! Designed beautifully, great tub and shower, great location and amenities. Owners are really great too, but the cleaning staff could use some improvement. When we got there this smoke-free room had a thick stench of cigarette smoke. The owner had no idea, they didn't bother to tell them. (Yes the managers fixed it) We got 1 roll of toilet paper and no paper towels for the 4 days we were there (Yes, the manager fixed that ASAP too). The staff also have several T-shirts with text that alluded to how much they love to do illicit drugs. They have a baby, which made it extremely uncomfortable to want to give them a cash tip. Overall though, the room and owners were really great, and we would go back again in a heartbeat.
