Located on the highly desirable Pleasant Street in downtown Saugatuck. Built up on the hill overlooking sprawling nature with the sounds of the Saugatuck Harbor in the background. You'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere yet you'll only be moments from all the action.

Take a stroll just two blocks away to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts where you'll find the Friday Farmer's Market, art exhibits, and Broadway-quality theater. Just one block further is the start of all the shops, parks, restaurants, and art galleries of downtown Saugatuck. If your tummy is grumbling, an assortment of fine and casual dining establishments awaits. Or skip dinner and go straight for dessert at one of the many ice cream parlors. If shopping is your thing, a mix of boutiques, galleries, and jewelry stores await.

Back at home, a sprawling, cottage-style home awaits.

You will love spending time on the expansive deck. This space has a BBQ grill and outdoor dining for your enjoyment. Just off the deck on the patio, you will find the private hot tub perfect for relaxing year-round.

You'll have ample space to cook up a meal at home in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters along with a custom butcher block island. The adjacent dining room overlooking nature boasts a custom-painted dining table adorned by mermaids in the ocean. Overflow onto the screen porch where you can relax in the breeze - this is the perfect place for your morning coffee.

Head into the living room with surrounding windows and plenty of seating options for your group to watch a movie together. New Smart TV for the 2022 season allows you to easily log in to any of your favorite apps. The side table would be perfect for a friendly game of cards (there is even an adjacent closet full of various games). The living room also has direct access to the screen porch.

With six bedrooms across four levels of living space, you'll have plenty of private space to retreat for some alone time and open space to gather as one. Main level master suite offers afternoon sunlight, king king-size bed, a Smart TV, and a full bathroom with shower tub combo. The main level also has a convenient half bathroom between the kitchen and living areas.

One level up there are three additional bedrooms, each with a closet and plenty of light, and a full bathroom with shower tub combo. Please note the bathroom on this level is shared by a total of four bedrooms. 

At the crown of the home is a unique attic loft with a neat under-the-sea theme and sleeping for up to four with two day beds each with a trundle. 

On the lower level, you'll find an entire studio apartment complete with a second smaller kitchen, full bathroom with shower, and a living area that doubles as the sixth bedroom. From this level, you also have direct access to the expansive deck and the patio with a private hot tub.

Please Note:
This is a historic home situated on the hillside. Some of the floors are uneven and some of the doorways are narrow. We hope you will embrace the history of the home. 
The setting here is tree-filled and one with nature. Due to this, there tend to be a lot of spiders, bugs, and small critters around. The property is fully serviced by a professional pest company but expect there to still be some bugs and critters present.
The uppermost level can get quite warm in the summer. We have installed a window AC unit in the attic loft to help. You may wish to bring an additional fan for those sleeping in this room.
The lowermost level can get a bit cool in the winter. We have an electric space heater available for this space. We recommend packing warm pajamas if you'll be sleeping on this level in the winter months.
The fireplaces are for decoration only and cannot be used. 
This home is located in a residential neighborhood and respect for the peaceful living of the neighbors is of the utmost importance.
