Hermosa casa frente al mar con vista panorámica al mar y paseo marítimo privado, ubicado en la Isla de las Palmas. Esta casa del sur está situada debajo de los robles de la antigua isla y está decorada con alegres colores de playa y arte basado en Charleston. La cocina tiene una pequeña barra de desayuno con encimera de granito. Mesa de comedor con capacidad para 8 y está abierta a la sala de estar. La sala de estar está abierta con TV de pantalla plana y amplios asientos para todos. Al salir al porche de la pantalla hay sillas mecedoras y una mesa de comedor al aire libre con hamaca.
En el tercer piso hay una suite principal con un amplio dormitorio principal con terraza privada, baño privado con bañera de hidromasaje de gran tamaño. Patio trasero ofrece grandes espacios verdes para juegos familiares. La propiedad tiene un maravilloso paseo marítimo privado desde el patio trasero a través de las dunas que permite el acceso directo a la playa. Esta propiedad ofrece una parrilla de gas ubicada debajo de la casa (los tanques de propano se pueden cambiar en nuestra oficina durante el horario comercial), WiFi y ropa de cama incluidos. No fumar ni mascotas por favor. La chimenea no es para uso de los huéspedes.

The best yard on the block!

As pictured, good value for the location

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house has everything you need. While it's an older home, it's on the beach, which is really all that matters to us! Perfect for a family with kids, although the true master is on the upper floor away from the other three bedrooms, which is something to keep in mind. While there are plenty of linens, there are no beach towels, so you either need to bring or buy on arrival. Isle of Palms is awesome, and we would definitely stay at this house again!

Easy walk out the back door to beach! Very clean, wonderful screened in back porch facing the ocean. Appliances older, but it is an otherwise wonderful house and would love to come back again.

A definite problem was that the air conditioning was not fully functioning. The technicians indicated that the unit was on its last legs and was in need of being replaced.

Excellent rental stay

The home was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable linens.Our one negative experience was a coyote attack when walking the dog! This animal was relentless charging at my niece and her dog and only succeeded reaching them by me screaming and charging back. Very Scary! A tragedy averted, thankfully!

Yes the dunes are homes to many critters, (snakes, foxes, bunnies, turtles, dune rodents and coyotes) There are coyotes throughout the Island and living in the dunes along the ocean as well. It is important that dogs remain on leash. The dogs that have had coyote encounters are typically off leash. The Coyotes are active in the very early morning and at sunset. January to spring is there mating season and they are definitely more active. Thank you for booking with Island Realty.

Old school comfort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this homey beach cottage. While obviously an older home, we were perfectly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, the view is wonderful, and the layout is great. It was a little musty on arrival, but it did not bother me (I’m very sensitive). I was worried the beach access would affect privacy, but it was not heavily used or noticeable (July stay). The beach area is a “sweet spot” in terms of crowds. A maintenance issue (caused by our kids) was dealt with easily. All in all, a perfect family place! There are some flying insects that need dealing with (cleaning crew should vacuum behind furniture), but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again.Kudos to the lawn crew who did not come early and made quick work of the massive lawn and did not use leaf blowers excessively!

Has It All

Even though there were neighbors to the immediate left and right, the trees and large yard made it seem like our own isolated place on the beach. Nice older beach house, plenty of room, great views and wonderful large screened in porch with plenty of seating. The yard is unbelievable for croquet, bocce, soccer ball, football, etc. The ONE drawback, and not really a drawback if you are aware and plan for it, the parking is tight. I will absolutely stay here again and again.

There were a few deferred maintenance issues (screen damage, porch door hinge, over used bed mattresses). Overall we were happy with our experience. The backyard had a large puddle due to large amount of rain before we arrived. It prevented our ocean access. The property manager understood our problem and accommodated our request. We would consider this house again whenever we return to the area.

Comfortable Place to Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked having a large yard to play games in our own privacy, and the young children could run around and we didn't have to worry about disturbing other people. It was a very short,easy walk to the beach. We loved the master bedroom - while lying in bed (which is very comfortable) we could see the waves crashing into the sand, but could not see the people on the beach. The screened in porch is wonderful along with the hammock! There are holes in some of the screens which allows the geckos in. The house and furnishings are great and is very well stocked with dishes and utensils. The decks are in need of some maintenance as several of us suffered splinters in our hands and feet. The bedrooms with the twin beds do not have vents for the AC which can make it uncomfortable if you keep the doors closed at night, but they do have ceiling fans which help. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

"Tree House" Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that we rented this charming home and would do so again. We recommended it to a family member who will also be renting the house. It is charming, comfortable, convenient, clean, and quiet. The house and grounds are well maintained with several small exceptions. The mattress in the upstairs master bedroom should be is high grade and comfortable but through wear tends to roll the occupants toward the center of the bed. The cowrod units in the gas stove are very uneven which makes cooking somewhat difficult and potentially dangerous. The large cooking utensils are plastic and flaccid which also lends itself to potential danger. The cooking utensils were better the last time that we stayed in the house but I can just imagine that they disappeared over time. That said, we loved the experience of staying so close to the beach in such a beautiful home.
