Welcome to Honey Ridge! Enjoy a quality built, spacious cabin on a peaceful, private, heavily wooded ridge. Sleeps 6 with two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a double futon bed in the living room. Designed on one floor with NO STAIRS, exceptionally clean! Plentiful large windows provide lovely views into the woods & natural light. The cabin has everything you need for the perfect stay, including a gas log fireplace, jetted indoor 2-person tub, quality linens & towels. A large kitchen offers full sized appliances & a generous supply of cookware & dining ware, plus coffee, tea, some spices, paper goods & foil. We provide free internet & WiFi, plus a landline with free long distance for guests without cell service. Rest on the raised deck 14' up into the trees; there is a patio set for six, plus a gas grill. There is a fire ring. We are family & pet friendly. Pricing based on total number of guests. Pet fee 40 dollars per visit. Our location is remote yet only 15 minutes from four of the Hocking Hills state parks & Rose Lake.

Very nice quiet location. Clean cabin with plenty of space and all things needed to cook/eat in. did not use fire pit which sits on a slanted hill. also did not use the whirlpool tub as it takes a significant amount of water. communication with owner is very good and check in/out process very easy.

Wonderful cabin. Very well equipped and so quiet and peaceful. It’s like being in a treehouse. The beds are extremely comfortable and the jacuzzi bath amazing. Loved it!!

Wonderful cabin! The fire pit was not as accessible as we thought it would be, but the cabin itself is beautiful and clean! If you don’t have any disabled people in your party, I would 10/10 recommend staying here! The hosts Beth and Chuck were friendly and professional.

A Perfect Hocking Hills Getaway at Honey Ridge Cabin

Honey Ridge Cabin was the perfect home base for our long-awaited trip to Hocking Hills. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place is lovingly maintained—the cabin and spacious outdoor deck were spotless and beautifully cared for. It’s clear the owners take great pride in sharing their peaceful retreat.Inside, the cozy main room offered plenty of comfortable seating and a large TV, ideal for relaxing in the evenings. The open layout connected seamlessly to the kitchen and dining area, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together.Both bedrooms featured comfortable queen beds, and the bathroom—with a large jetted tub with shower—was just what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring.The location was ideal—just 10 to 15 minutes from Old Man’s Cave (a must-see!) and about 30 minutes to the Hocking Hills Canopy Tour. The zip lining experience was incredible and not to be missed! We also visited Hocking Hills Winery, where we sampled a variety of wines and especially enjoyed their spicy Italian pizza—highly recommend!We truly couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Honey Ridge. It was peaceful, comfortable, and close to everything we wanted to do. We highly recommend it and hope to return someday!

The “Home” away from home.

Walk in the house and was so pleasantly surprised. Immaculate they had music playing for us. We really didn’t have to take any thing with us other than our own clothing and personal items. A new beautiful deck off the back with a grill, table and chairs and with a nice view of the forest. Fire pit was awesome and the fireplace inside kept us nice and warm. We will certainly return when we come back to this beautiful hocking hills, Ohio.

Relaxing stay

We had a great stay at the cabin; it was very clean and well stocked. The forest view from the private deck is very nice and so peaceful. The cabin location was very near to several Hocking Hills hikes, and we also enjoyed a few of the local wineries and restaurants on our relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend this stay to others!

Excellent Location

The location is a short distance to several hiking trails. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit as well as the indoor fireplace. We had everything we needed to provide a comfortable stay. We would stay at this cabin again if we came back to Hocking Hills.

I and my husband, Chuck, have lived in the Hocking Hills for over 28 years.
My home state is Ohio, he is from Wisconsin, and we met in the Hocking Hills! We built our little homestead, raising chickens, dairy goats, honey bees, and organic vegetables. Being "transplants" ourselves, we recognized how precious this part of Ohio is, and in 2005 decided to become involved in the lodging business and provide others with the opportunity to visit the Hocking Hills. Chuck is a builder by trade, and designed and built the cabin by hand. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are often mentioned in the journal our guests leave notes in. We stay involved with cleaning and maintenance, since we are very particular! Our goal is to provide a relaxed, beautiful setting for guests to return to after exploring the forests, caves, creeks, waterfalls and natural rock formations that define this part of Ohio.

I have always been an outdoor sort of person, and this location spoke to me .... LOUDLY! I never dreamed I'd find myself living in such an amazing, beautiful place.

We are fortunate to be able to offer guests the best of both worlds. We are remote yet close to multiple activities and attractions. Guests can take off for the day and enjoy hiking and all the other fun things to do, or stay at the cabin and relax. People often say they felt at home as soon as they walked in the door, and appreciate the calm, peaceful atmosphere. Our deck is surrounded by trees, and creates a safe space where people can feel relaxed.
