The Space:

Walk in and feel right at home with everything you need to have a great stay at in Michigan City.

Charming open concept apartment displays the charm of the original design, with large archways, and bay-windows. The kitchen is a fully functional galley style kitchen with fridge, gas stove and dishwasher and an east facing window at the end to let in the morning sun. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, forks, spoons, knives, are in the cabinets the drawers, everything but the groceries.

The main room has a queen bed and divided by an arch with couch and TV on the other, and a little dining table is tucked into the bay window.

If you want the romantic getaway, we suggest this apartment.

UNIT PERKS:

--This apt has a sofa bed in the family room that accommodates up to 4 guests.

--This rental includes a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towel will be provided for your use.

--Along with coffee, creamer and sweetener are provided.

--Cooking spray, olive oil, salt/pepper are provided.

--A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available.

--Small beach toys for kids and and beach towels are provided for each guest.

--A few board games are available for your use.

--Guests can park in front of the house.

--A smart TV is hooked up in your living area

--High Speed Wifi is provided.



ADDITIONAL INFO:

We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:

--AirBnB users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.

--Renters that are above the age of 25.

--A maximum of four guests per reservation. Extra guests are not allowed.

--We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. To keep the unit in excellent condition for future guests, we are firm on these rules. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.



***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the unit is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.



**CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT INFO**

- Between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Please note: We do not allow late check-ins, and there is no after-hours customer service available. Guests must arrive within the designated check-in window.

- Check-out Time: By 10:00 AM.

- Check-in Instructions: Detailed check-in instructions, including a key code for entry, will be sent via Airbnb messenger on the morning of your scheduled arrival.

- Cancellation Policy: We have a moderate cancellation policy. For full details, please refer to Airbnb’s cancellation guidelines.



**GUEST ACCESS**

Guests have full access to the entire property. At least one host is always available via text if you need assistance during your stay.



**PET POLICY:**

- We are pet-friendly, but please make sure pets are quiet and respectful of the space and other guests. Please note that if you plan to bring pets, there is a $50 pet fee per pet.

- Pets must be crated if left alone in the home

- Pets must be on a leash when outdoors on the property

- Guests must pick up after their pets; a cleaning fee applies if extra cleanup is required

- Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds



**FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 21 DAYS**

An additional cleaning fee ($115) will be applied to ensure the continued cleanliness and maintenance of the unit, as our cleaners will be required to service the unit every 20 days. This charge helps us provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout your extended stay. Additionally, we will require a $300 refundable deposit, which will be returned promptly once our cleaners confirm there is no damage to the property.

Other Things to Note:

This historic home, originally built in the early 1900s, was thoughtfully redesigned and remodeled into four private units in the early 2000s. The property retains much of its original Victorian charm, including beautiful wood plank floors, high ceilings, gables, wide arches, and classic staircases. At the same time, modern upgrades were added, including fully equipped kitchens, upgraded electrical systems, and individual central air conditioning and heating in each unit, offering the perfect blend of old-world elegance and contemporary comfort.
