Several old friends chose this rental for a long weekend getaway and fishing trip. The house was great and the location was perfect for our fishing plans. The boat dock out front was a key part in being able to dock our boat for easy access. The house was spacious, clean and the host was very friendly and easy to coordinate with. I strongly recommend this rental and look forward to going back in the future!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled your group chose our place for your long weekend fishing trip. For boaters reading this, the private dock at the property is on a canal off the Salt Ponds, with a short run through the inlet to the Chesapeake Bay. There are no bridges and no long no-wake channels, so you can be on the bay within minutes of untying. Fuel, fish cleaning stations and an official weigh station are just around the corner at Southall Landings Marina. Being able to tie up steps from the door makes early starts and late returns easy. We’re glad the house gave everyone room to spread out after long days on the water, and it was a pleasure working with you. We’d love to host your crew again. Tight lines!

If you're looking for a very clean, spacious house with all the amenities, this is where you want to stay. There is plenty of room for 10 or more people to sleep comfortably. Bring your boat and use the dock in the backyard. The host is easy to contact if you need anything. Location is convenient to Buckroe Beach Park, restaurants and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together there with our family.

Super smooth process. The hosts were very responsive. The home is dated, but very clean, with tons of space. Loved that there were lots of board games. I wish a hairdryer was supplied. Very quiet neighborhood, and we all loved being on the water.

Clean home

We enjoyed our stay. The tiles on the floor could use a little more grout work as most of it is gone but other than that it was a very tidy place.

The house was very accommodating for my group of family and friends. The main living and dining area is well-lit with plenty of windows allowing fresh breezes and beautiful views. It is a short bike ride to Buckroe Beach.

Great spot in Buckroe Beach, Hampton VA

We planned a short vacation to visit family in Hampton. This spacious house was the perfect fit for grandchildren and sons. Beautiful view off the deck of the canal. Nice, safe, established neighborhood. Just minutes away from Buckroe Beach.

Beautiful Getaway!

This home was way more than expected from the photos online, meaning the owners have a beautiful home, wonderful space for any size family. We loved it! it was convenient for our fishing trip, just minutes away from the public boat access. It was also easy travel with a 27 footer. We hope to be returning for a longer stay.

Family Time

This was our second stay at the house and it was fantastic both times. The property manager is so easy to work with and the house had everything that we wanted! We loved the large family room/living room space. The house is right next to a canal, which is nice to be able to go out and look at the water in the morning and/or throughout the day.

Hampton VA vacation

We had a great stay. Farland stayed in great contact with us and even stayed in touch after we got stuck in traffic on our way down. The home was clean and stocked with a variety of seasonings, pots/pans, and towels for everyone. Location was about 5 minutes or less from the grocery store and a variety of gas stations. Since we have family in VA we will definitely choose this home again for our next visit!

Lots of space

Clean spacious house on quiet nice neighborhood. Easy ck I/O Owner responsive, Large kitchen well stocked. Close to Buckaroo Beach. Lovely canal in back w. nice deck. Great family meals at dining table. 7 of us. 7-11 and groceries close by. We come to area every yr and have stayed in numerous places, probably our favorite so far. Enjoy County Grill & Mezcal restaurants

Beautiful home, tons of space

The house was beautiful and has tons of space and places to sleep. Farhad was wonderful and called a few days before to see if we had any questions and let us know about construction in the area that had we not known about would have made us late to the wedding we were attending.

Not our best vacation

The property is excellent. We had to buy plastic ware because the kitchen wasn't loaded as advertised. No toilette brushes, no gas in the gas tank. The host said " sorry, the previous visitors made a lot of bbq." We had to change the gas tank (never got my refund). No toilett brushes. 1 hr early check in for 100$ kayak for 1 person 65$ per day. Buttom line is: We had fun, and a lot of miscommunication about unclear extra fees, it was my msitake too. Still waiting the gas tank refund.
