Kamaole Beach Royale #406 is an updated 1Bd/1Ba unit with a gorgeous panoramic ocean view! It is just a short walk down to the popular Kamaole Beach 1. If you prefer to stay in the unit, you will enjoy gorgeous views as you sip your morning coffee on the lanai and possibly even see a whale. Kamaole Beach Royale #406 is centrally located to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and recreation; but many simply love to enjoy the panoramic ocean views and sunsets from the comfortable balcony. The unit is well-stocked with everything you'll need during your stay. There is one bedroom and one bath, wall unit AC in the living room, split A/C in the bedroom, and ceiling fans throughout. The bedroom features a bed and a flat-screen television. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs and a washer and dryer in the unit. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed and a large flat-screen television. Kamaole Beach Royale #406 also provides beach chairs and beach towels for outdoor enjoyment. This unit is in the heart of South Kihei and perfect for those seeking the convenience of being right in the center of the action! The unit sleeps up to 4 guests.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

Checking was easy. Place was clean and AC worked great. Bed was great. Would stay again!! Few things missing to make it even better. Didn’t have an inside table to eat at. Only a couple towels for kitchen and 2 beach towels. Kitchen lacked a few essentials. There were only 5 forks…. Would be easier to conserve on water if we didn’t have to wash towels and dishes so often.

Great location and view

Overall, it was excellent. Modern appliances, new 4K TV, with cable and Internet, nice ceiling fans in all rooms and comfortable chairs and couch. Beach chairs and snorkel stuff on the patio were nice. Free parking for one car! The shared space on the seventh floor was very nice with two clean barbeques to cook on. Fourth floor view of the ocean was amazing! Some things that were not so great:Queen mattress on king frame. Kept banging my shin on the bedframe as it stuck out. Maybe get a queen frame? Bed was not firm, actually more like a marshmallow and not a firm but squishy. So soft the sheets would not stay on as the corners were just soft and round.AC worked well, but blows directly on you if sitting on the couch. Placing a boogie board between was a temporary solution. Lacking a table to eat on in the house. The counter does not hang over at all so too difficult to sit and eat there.

We stayed in Maui for 6 nights. The beds in this condo were terrible and the sheets were so cheap. The floors were dirty. Beach unbrella was broken. It was just an ok sleep stay. Location was great!

Unit 406 needs to be improved

Reviewer Comments: Unit 406 is very outdated - kitchen cabinet laminate is peeling, the bathroom need a complete renovation, the unit needs a dining table and the bedroom bed frame is king sized and the mattress is queen sized.Location of KBR is very strong. We have stayed at KBR previously and thought the unit was well kept and updated. We needed maintenance to help out with ice trays and dishwasher repair which were bothe well handled. We do not recommend Unit 406 until modernization and up dates are made. We made the best of the situation. We would recommend KBR other units but not Unit 406.Kathy and Kirk

nice...but some notes

Reviewer Comments: Location was good; but at sunset from the balcony, the big tree was right in the wrong spot! had to go down to the beach to see good sunset. The kitchen was cramped, refrigerator hard to access. clothes washer smelled musty(bought lysol laundry sanitizer to leave for next guest). Dryer tooooo noisy to use suspect it is about to **** out. left coffee filters, they don't supply coffee which would be a nice touch. The bathroom sink leaked all over counter from back of faucet, left notes for maintenance. oh, and the platform bed is a shin bruiser, but the bed was SUPER comfortable. counter needs bar stools to be able to eat at it. décor was nice. outside door key pad was hard to see at dark, motion light lit hallway, but not enough for keypad.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay for almost a week in Maui. The location is super close to the beach, easy walking distance! Many good food places within walking distance. This rental had beach accessories available (free!), such as snorkels, beach chairs & umbrellas, boogie boards, towels, etc. Beautiful sunsets from the Lanai. Very cozy place and perfect for an anniversary get-away. The pool and grills available at the building were nice features, too. Very clean and compact, but not too small. You could hear a few people outside the bedroom because it's close to the elevator, but not many and it wasn't an issue.
