Cedar Lodge | Mountain View, EV Charger, Ping Pong

Experience a relaxing stay at Mt. Washington in this newer mountainside home, built just a few years ago. Designed for comfort and flexibility, it features two self-contained suites across multiple levels—perfect for families or groups who want to stay together but have space to spread out.



There are 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds, 1 double Murphy bed, and 2 twins) and 4 full bathrooms, including two ensuites. The second-floor primary bedroom includes both a queen bed and a double Murphy bed for added flexibility. Each level includes a full kitchen, large sectional couch, and 65” smart TV. Upstairs, the sun deck offers beautiful, unobstructed views of Strathcona Park. Downstairs, enjoy a brand new ping pong table.



Dogs are welcome (sorry, no other pets). A crate, bed, and bowls are provided. Please crate your dog when you’re out, and note that guests are responsible for any damage.



The double garage provides secure storage for bikes, skis, or snowboards, and includes both Level 2 (240V) and 120V EV charging outlets—just bring your own cable.

We stayed 2 nights as my daughter was getting married at Raven Lodge and the location and proximity to the lodge was perfect. There were 6 adults and 4 children (5 years and under). The additional suite was a bonus so the family with a 9 month old could have their own space for naps. Cedar Lodge was clean and just as described. Check in was easy and Chris was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. My only regret is that we hadn't booked it for more nights!

The house was lovely, clean , and well stocked. Great place to stay when you’re skiing!! Close to the hill and bonus sled track behind the house made by the neighbours.

Our extended family (grandparents, parents, grandchild and dog) had a wonderful stay at Cedar Lodge. We were impressed with the amenities, how soundproof the Lodge was, and the responsiveness of the host. We’d definitely go back!

The house was very clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was easy to communicate with. Lots of room for 10 people and the house was accurately described in the listing.I recommend this property for groups of up to 10 people wishing to stay on the mountain.

This was a great rental for our visit. There is plenty of space as it is essentially 2 suites. Although we didn't use both kitchens, having double kitchens is helpful if you have a large family or reunion where you are able make meals with two stoves/ovens. There is even a washer and drying on site which would be very handy for longer stays. They have all the supplies you could possible need, including a dog bed and dish. The rental was clean upon arrival and had everything you needed available if you wanted to do some tidying up during your stay.Overall, a wonderful stay and getting to bring my dog along made it even better.

Ski slopes were further then we expected. But only about a 15 minute walk. If we decide to drive it would of been about 1-2 minutes away. Overall great time

The place was very clean. Access to the ski hill still required driving both for downhill and cross country. View was great. Wish we could have figured out how to turn down the heat but the host was very responsive and a good communicator.

Great place and great host. We ran into a few minor issues and Chris handled it immediately and even went so far as bringing us a bottle of wine to make up for our inconvenience. Incredibly thoughtful. It’s rare to find a host so dedicated to making sure everything is perfect—we felt completely taken care of! Thanks again, Chris!

Great Stay!

A great space for family with many members of various ages. Spacious and clean, different floor levels offer members an area to gather, or an area to have some quiet time. Minutes away from the ski / tubing mountain, perfect for our outdoor snow adventure. Would definitely go back to this house next year for more fun!

Really clean, well maintained house. Ample parking ( we had 3 vehicles) well stocked with all you will need for your stay. Close to hiking trails. Good communication with host, able to resolve checkin issue over the phone which was reassuring. Altogether a great stay.

Great summer stay!

This was a great spot for our family to enjoy a summer weekend, made easy access for all the things Comox/Courtenay had to offer. Very new space, was nice to rent both units to fit our families. Loved the detailed guide we received with all the info we needed, and Chris was quick to respond and regularly checked in to ensure we didn’t need anything. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, spacious, and perfectly located close to the mountain—huge win. The teens were in heaven with the ping pong table, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling on top of each other.The host was quick to respond to any questions, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We were a little surprised there wasn’t a fireplace (mountain vibes were this close to perfection), but it definitely didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent experience.We loved it so much that we’re already planning to make this an annual trip. Highly recommend!

The host helped get us into the unit. The pass code had not been changed the host also walked us through the WIFI connection. The posted password was not correct. The cooking utensils need to be upgraded and more pots are requiredOverall we had a great timeThanks

There was a power outage shortly before your arrival that reset a few things in the home, so I sent an updated door code and Wi-Fi information through the VRBO message thread prior to check-in. I’m glad we were able to quickly get you connected once you arrived. I also appreciate the feedback on the cookware. I’ll review the utensils and pots and make a few upgrades where needed. Great Mountain Stay

Wonderful spot on the mountain. Loved the option of using individual suites or renting the whole house. Thank you for being pet friendly. The stairs, however, are very slippery for senior dogs. We had to carry our old girl up and down, might be a challenge for other older pups.
