Charming 5BR Home in a Great Downtown Location

This is a charming older home located in a central downtown neighborhood. It is a short walk to restaurants and shopping and is also close to outdoor mountain activities. The home oozes with old world charm that resonates will with the spirit and history of Mt. Shasta. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The house boasts a modern central heating system, and a wood stove. There is a private fenced in backyard. Lots of fun!
The space
Our guests have access to the whole house. You will find there is plenty of space to stretch out and unwind. We have blazing fast internet so you can work from home and stream all you want! We have a nice new smart TV and you can log in to your own Netflix or Amazon accounts. The kitchen is well appointed and capable of producing many gourmet meals.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole house and yard. This is not included as one of the bedrooms but can be use for an office or playroom for kids. It can also be used as a separate sleeping area. There is parking on the street or in the alley behind the house.
Other things to note
The house is located close to an elementary school. During the school year, the street out front gets busy during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. The train tracks are somewhat close to the house and the train can be heard, as it can from almost everywhere in town.

Trash pick up is Wednesday morning so please have your trash out by Tuesday night. Someone will come by to bring it to the curb but if it is not out by Wednesday morning please put it out.

Dogs up to 30 pounds with a limit of two are allowed for a $25 fee per pet per stay. We will request payment upon arrival through the Airbnb site. Please let us know ahead of time what kind of dogs you have.

Smoking is allowed outside only.

We provide enough wood to get you started on the wood stove. Please visit the hardware store or bring your own wood if you would like more.

There are 3 forms of heat- mini splits upstairs, a wood stove, and central heat down. There is also a portable heater in the studio outside.

The upstairs mini splits also have air conditioning and we provide portable AC units for the downstairs.
