Cozy Catskills Cottage

Be it high summer or snowy winter, this is the place to chill! A long shady driveway brings you to the Cottage, a two bedroom, one bathroom, one story building with a large deck and Weber grill. It’s fully equipped and nicely appointed and warm as toast when the north winds howl down from Mt. Mombaccus. In colder months, there’s a gas-fired stove in the living area which has a splendid cathedral ceiling and exposed beams.
If you need just about anything, Tetta’s, a 4 generation general store has gas, pizza and a small assortment of groceries including a deli.
The Cottage is about 30-40 minutes from Kingston, Stone Ridge, Woodstock, High Falls, New Paltz.
We’re 10 minutes from the stunning Ashokan Reservoir walkway and many hiking trails.

Wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding and this VRBO was perfect! The property was very clean and met all of our needs, and the host was very kind and communicative. Would highly recommend!

We recently travel up for a wedding and found this cute place to meet all our needs. The process of checking in was easy and Meredith the property owner realized we would be ariving later in the night left lights on for us to make unloading and entering the house easier for us. House was clean and very cute. Description of the house is very accurate and our stay here was very enjoyable.

Quiet getaway

Cozy!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy cottage! It was the perfect size for our small family that included 2 adults, 1 child (age 10) and our dog! Meredith is super friendly and attentive and our dogs played together as if they've known each other for years. We hope to be back soon!

A sweet little get away

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the little cottage in the woods. Nicely appointed kitchen, comfy beds and everything we could ask for in a getaway. The host was very thoughtful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and will try to return in the future!

Incredible Getaway!

We had a phenomenal time! The house was so nice and cozy. The pool was gorgeous! The property grounds were absolutely stunning - our dogs absolutely loved it! Meredith was an incredible host - super welcoming and reliable. We couldn't have had a better experience!

A Peaceful Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cottage. As soon as you turn into the property, you’re welcomed by a stunning tree-lined corridor that sets the tone for the peaceful retreat ahead. The cottage itself is absolutely comfortable, inviting, and clean—resting on a gorgeous plot of land surrounded by nature’s calm. Each day, we were greeted by Clara, Meredith’s adorable puppy, who added to the charm of the experience. Meredith was a fantastic hostess—attentive, kind, and incredibly responsive while giving us the privacy to fully enjoy our stay. A truly rejuvenating escape which we definitely look forward to repeating.

Catskills Cottage

We had such a peaceful stay at the Catskills Cottage. We especially enjoyed the wildlife that you may get to see passing by in the woods. A/C works great which was much needed in the summer months. Would definitely come back in winter.

Perfect cozy getaway from the city

My family spent the most wonderful time staying at this cottage; it was very well maintained, clean, warm and the host, Meredith was so accomodating and available that we didnt feel isolated in the mountain. It was so therapeutic to watch rainfall on the trees outside from the large windows too. We'll definitely comeback!

Summer Swimming

We don’t live too far away but we wanted a place to enjoy a week of swimming and that’s what we did. We swam in that giant pool all week and loved it. We used the charcoal grill and just enjoyed relaxing in the woodsy surroundings. Thanks Meredith! Michelle

Cute cottage

The cottage was cute, cozy and clean. Meredith and Daphne were great hosts. We appreciated the eggs milk and butter! Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate to use the pool but we will be back!!! Thank you again.

We will be back

Meredith was warm, welcoming and eager to make our stay here a success. This was a working vacation for us and it was wonderful to work on the deck surrounded by the natural beauty and joyous peace and quiet. Her assistant, Clara the 10 month old Australian Shepard puppy came by several times a day to make sure we weren’t getting out of line. We have already reserved our time for next summer

We had a Wonderful Time!

My husband and I and our two little dogs had a wonderful time. The cottage is exactly as described. The property is gorgeous. The owner, Meredith, is very nice and really wants to make sure you enjoy yourself. While she lives on the property, we seldom saw her but she was available if we needed anything. We will definitely stay with Meredith and Clara (her puppy) next time we visit the Catskill mountains!

Wonderful Country Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Olivebridge cottage. The location was perfect, even if the weather was not. Very comfy and kind of "shabby chic" which pleased us, and the surrounding views were stunning. There was a great pool, but due to bad weather we only enjoyed it a few times. The owner was helpful and accommodating. She even left us breakfast products upon arrival. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to the country.

Catskill getaway

We enjoyed our visit to the Catskill region of NY state. The cottage was what we had expected and met all of our and our dogs needs. Especially the AC as it was a hot and muggy 4 days, which made it hard to be outside for long periods of a time. Meredith checked in as needed was a concerned host as there was a storm and we lost power.
