The space is truly unique within Chicago`s Downtown `Loop` District. You will sit 28 floors up with expansive views throughout the home.

The unit itself is a 2-floor penthouse.

On the entry level floor are the two large bedrooms with KING beds and one bathrooms. The Master bedroom comes equipped with a walk-in closet.

The upper floor is the main living area with a kitchen, private outdoor balcony, and living area.

You have full access to the unit and the amenity floor, equipped with a pool, gym, lounge, and more!

We are here to help you as you need, but the house manual helps show you most of the basics.

The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop:

Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as `Chicago`s front yard` to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza.

Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.

And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the `Millionaire`s Row` that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago`s most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century.

In the adjacent Printer`s Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest`s publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.

We are very central and in close walking distance to the subway stops at Polk. We recommend NOT renting a car, and walking, ubering, and using public transit for your stay.

The HVAC system is unique because it is a single duct system, meaning that it only blows heat or cool at a time - depending on the time of the year (set by City law). We provide fans and a floor HVAC unit within the property. There is a thermostat on each floor. Set the thermostat to Heat during cold months and Cool during warm months.

There is a NOISE MONITORING system within the home to track decibel noise level. Please respect our neighbors and do not get too loud outside quiet hours :)

The base price for this home is for 4 guests only. There will be an extra guest fee of $20 per guest per night if your group exceeds to 4 people.

Small Pet Fee (Under 20lbs, no shedding) - $200
Large Pet Fee - (Over 20lbs) - $250 plus a $200 refundable security deposit and subject to host approval.
If the pet sheds, we will require an additional $150 refundable Security deposit.
Unauthorized Pets - $250.00 plus any damages or additional cleaning costs incurred

Smoking in Room/Common Area - $500.00 minimum charge and eviction from Rental Unit
Excessive Cleaning - Up to $125.00 per hour of additional cleaning needed

Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you and your guests with a starter pack of toilet papers

Q: What about PARKING?
A: Your reservation comes with one parking card for the attached parking garage.

Q: When can I check in or check out?
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

Q: Is the Gym and Amenity floor shared?
A: Yes, it is shared so please be respectful of other tenants and guests using the space.

Q: Luggage Drop-Off / Storage?
A: If you do not have flights that coincide with our check-in and checkout times, you may store your bags with Radical Storage near our property. It allows you to store your bags for your optimal time :)

Q: Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes. And we wouldn`t trust any listing with which this isn`t the case.

Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.

Q: What`s my total booking price?
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don`t actually control this.

Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: Very. Some guests say they`re the best they`ve ever slept on!

Spacious and comfortable!

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful apartment. The location was great and the hosts were very responsive. And the view! Wow! The view was incredible from the living room, bedrooms, and especially the patio. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location for Site-seeing!

Beautiful home! The perfect location - we rented bikes a couple blocks away, visited 1 museum each day and then rode through the nearby parks. Apt itself was great, amazing view from the patio and perfectly maintained pool. Can get warm in the afternoon, apt has a LOT of windows. Very close to many restaurants and grocery stores - we did lunch out daily and dinner in. Excellent vacation, I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful and convenient

The space and view is gorgeous. Parking is easy and such a great feature given how hard it is to find inexpensive parking in that area. Walkable to lots of food options and great attractions like the Art Institute. We would stay again.

Great place to stay in Chicago

This place was exactly as pictured and described, and it was perfect for my family of 4. There was a small problem when we checked in; the owner/manager was very responsive, and building management was there in minutes to resolve the issue. Everything was super clean, and it does indeed have million dollar views from the bedrooms and balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything we needed!

Great spot close to the subway so be prepared to use it! Everyone very nice including front desk and door man. Clean and with all needed amenities. We were prepared for the common issue with temperature control reported in reviews. It was toasty so we just ran the supplied fans at night and sometimes cracked the patio door to cool off. 7-11 on the corner, walk to target and great pizza downstairs. Thanks for the stay!

City Vacation

We had a great time staying here as a family of 6! The view was spectacular and the unit is very clean! Location was great, lots of restaurants and convenience stores around! Check in and check out was a breeze! The only thing was the AC on the 2nd floor was not fully working but we appreciate the host trying to remedy it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would highly consider to book again.

Great trip!

We had a great time! Awesome location, views, pool and spacious penthouse apartment. With nice decor and modern kitchen. The parking and building staff were excellent, there was a 7-11, coffee shop, take out food and even a Trader Joe’s nearby. I felt safe going out at night to run to get food or supplies from the store. Short walk to the museums. The apartment was pretty warm, but there were fans and a good breeze! It may not be a good place for someone who has trouble with stairs. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay!

Chicago Penthouse

THis penthouse was very nice. The views are amazing and it is located right in the middle of downtown with all of the convenience of that. Food, close to the water, and attractions. The only thing was we were there in the middle of winter and a major winter storm and cold front, so we could take advantage of everything available. We did get out and about as much as we could though, and enjoyed a good time with some shopping, sightseeing, a couple of museums, and the food. I would highly recommend this place, but in better weather.

Lots of stairs

This is a nice penthouse, but the stairs are a little steep and dangerous especially with small children. The location is great and has a very nice parking garage. The pool is indoor with a nice lounge area for older teens and adults. We had issues with the air conditioning, but the manager was on it, but we were still hot (only upstairs)....the bedrooms were cool! I would not recommend this if you have small children...otherwise it was great!

It was a great experience

Location is good if plan to visit museums. Magnificent mile is about 10-15 dollar ride by uber. About 10-15min walk to the theater district. There are some hidden gem/restaurants nearby. Great amenities. PARKING, wash/dryer, a lot of supplies already stocked up. I did not have to buy anything but water. I brought laundry detergent. I wish there was a deadbolt for the security. Maybe some more stuff in the balcony like heater/firepit. Maybe fire code violation. I’d stayed in the balcony/patio at night time if there were one.

Great location

We loved the location, space and views. Close to everything, easy to get in and out of. Free parking was a definite plus. Outdoor balcony was fantastic, and overall space for 4 adults perfect. Problem was we counted on the pullout couch so that my son and husband did not have to share a room. Air conditioning on upper level NEVER worked. When we got there the kitchen/family area was 77 degrees and got hotter from there. Air upstairs did not work the entire stay. At 95 degrees outside, it was miserable and made half of the condo inhabitable. The only other prob we had was 2-3 inches of water in fridge under crisper drawers. We had to mop all of that out. Not sure where it came from but should have been caught before visitors came.

Amazing Place!

This downtown penthouse has wonderful views of the city that could be seen in all of the rooms. The host was super responsive, the rooms had great design, and the place was also very spacious. The private patio/balcony was amazing. Plenty of restaurants close by!
