The 7000 square-foot property resides on 225 acres of land. It has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms with ample parking space. It is conveniently located between Richmond and Charlottesville, more close to Charlottesville, 5 minutes off I-64, and about 15-20 miles from the University of Virginia and Monticello. Many breweries, vineyards and wineries are within driving distance with the nearest one only 3 miles away, and A farming farm located 1000 feet away provides healthy meat, eggs, milk, vegetables, fruits, and flowers. The outdoors offers breathtaking views of barn, horse fields and rolling farmlands. Hiking trials running through the property provide a refreshing and private hiking experience with a variety of sceneries such as creeks, swamps and dense evergreen trees. For those who love bonfire, the fire pits offer you a way to connect with friends and family, and provide a cozy atmosphere in the evenings.

The indoors includes a wide-vision front porch, a industrial-grade kitchen, a bright sunroom, comfortable living space on the first floor. 4 spacious bedrooms on the second floor outfitted with high-quality mattresses not only provide ample space for families or individuals who require extra room for work or relaxation, but also ensure your every night's sleep is peaceful and rejuvenating. At dawn or dusk, you can also enjoy the beautiful farm with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on the large deck on the second floor. Great home with nice bedroom arrangement. Could have had a few more utensils (like spatulas and measuring cups/spoons), but it was a great house for our group.

Incredible Property & Hosts

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The property was stunning and the horses were friendly. It’s a great place to stay with family (kids included). The chef’s kitchen is stocked with every kitchen cooking utensil you may need. The rooms are just as large as they look in the pictures, so there is plenty of space to spread out and unwind. The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors nearly as much as we would have liked, but the house had enough to do when we weren’t out exploring Charlottesville and the wineries. Larry and Tina were great hosts!

Christmas with family

Wonderful property for a family get together. The hosts even provided a decorated Christmas tree! Family had a great time with the hiking trails, fire pit, wildlife watching, ping pong, and plenty of room for gaming, puzzling, and cookie baking. The house is so well maintained.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The property was beautiful and very quiet. Perfect for 3 family's celebrating Thanksgiving week. (6 adults, 3 kids). Enjoyed walking the trails, the firepit, and looking at the stars at night. Inside the house was just amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. A couple of the amenities were missing, but overall a perfect stay. Thanks for a wonderful week Larry and Tina.

Great Weekend with Friends & Family

Genuinely couldn't be more pleased with this property. It was perfect, and felt luxurious. We enjoyed our time in the house just as much as touring the local wineries, and the kids loved being able to look at the horses. Perfect hosts, and really pleased with all the extras (like plenty of trash bags, and lovely shampoo), which just made the weekend so easy for everyone to enjoy

Family stay

We needed a big house to accommodate our family for our son’s wedding. There are no words to describe how happy we were with our stay! This home is spectacular and our neighbors (the horses) were a delight to sit and watch!

Wedding weekend

My wife and I, along with our three adult children, a daugher-in-law and one additional significant other, spent a weekend at the farm to attend our neice's wedding. The house is large, spacious, clean and well-appointed. The surrounding grounds are specatular, although the weather did not permit much exploring. We hope to return for that. It was a pleasure working with Larry, who was very flexible concerning our earlier than anticipated arrival. He was always responsive to our several questions and helped make our stay relaxing and welcoming. We have already recommended this property to friends and family.,

50th Birthday Girls Trip

What a beautiful place to stay. We had a group of 10 that stayed for a long weekend. The house was gorgeous with more than enough room for our group. Larry was very responsive and even left us a beautiful basket of home grown Cherry tomatoes. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property and AMAZING hosts!

The property was perfect for some private and family time due to the house layout, property and wonderful paths for the walks. The location is perfect as being a bit in the country, but not too far away to easily get to Charlottesville. The hosts thought of things we did not even think of ourselves and all the personal touches really made it special. We will definitely stay there again when we visit this area. My family and I thank you for a very memorable trip!

Breathtaking and peaceful

We came with a small group of friends to explore the Charlottesville area. This farm and house is absolutely stunning in person! The house is set down a lovely paved lane and there is ample parking at the house. The owners, Larry and Tina, left us a wonderful welcome note apologizing for the deck construction out back and left treats for us. Once that deck is finished (it was a huge footprint), it will make this home rental even more lovely and family/friend oriented! Larry answered text messages and messages on here before we left, giving us suggestions on what to see and where to put the trash to keep the critters away. The home is breathtaking! It is big and plenty of room to spread out; the decor and furniture is sublime! The kitchen is a cook's kitchen!! A Viking range and Subzero refrigerator were special treats for all of us! We spent time at the firepit and being able to watch the stars and a storm rolling in was spectacular! We didn't make time to take a hike but there are pathways all over the farm. We did visit with the horses boarded there but only from our side of the fence. They were more fun to watch from the front porch view while drinking coffee, running around the pasture and rolling in the grass. When I come back to Charlottesville, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Easy to get around. There is so much to do and see. It would be a perfect place for a family gathering, wedding or other type of event. We loved it! Thank you!

Beautiful and peaceful country property

We hosted a family reunion at this beautiful and welcoming and well appointed property and are so grateful we found it! It worked perfectly for our large group for an unforgettable weekend gathering. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and linens were high quality. Very clean and communication with the hosts was very clear and very responsive. So happy we booked!
