Sailboat Point by Big Fish Real Estate Group at Lake Martin

This cabin is situated perfectly on a flat peninsula lot with lots of outdoor space for outdoor activities and entertainment. Relax on one of the many porches while taking in the fabulous 360-degree views or grill up your favorite meal on the charcoal grill and enjoy it under one of the covered porches and take in the scenery! There is also a boat ramp on the property for your use!

Inside you will find a beautiful rustic welcoming lake feel. Enjoy the fantastic views from almost any room in the house! The main level has a fully stocked kitchen equipped with a drip coffee pot and a dining room with seating. Kick back and relax in the living room or enjoy a game of pool in the bar room! You’ll also find the primary bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom on the main level as well as a room with two bunks that are twin-over full. Upstairs, there’s a loft with an extra living area to relax and watch tv, play games, or take a nap. There are two bedrooms on this level with queen beds and one bathroom.

This home is like being on your own island oasis in the heart of Lake Martin!

If you are looking for two homes close together, this home is located right next to Eagle's Nest.

PLEASE NOTE: Water levels can fluctuate (even at full pool) due to the lack of rain. Big Fish is not responsible for any inconvenience this may cause. You can download the Alabama Power Shoreline app and monitor the water level from there. If we meet the requirements for the fall extension, the winter pool draw down will begin on October 15th each year. Please be aware of this if you are booking in the fall.

My husband and I take our kids and a group of their friends to the lake every year. We have stayed in some great houses but overall this house was our favorite so far. The house was absolutely fantastic, clean, as described and the boat ramp made everything so easy! My contact for the rental was Heather (hope it’s ok to use her name) she was absolutely wonderful!!! Any question I had she was quick to respond and made everything seamless!!! Everyone had a fantastic time! Thank you Heather, Big Fish Rentals, and Lake Martin for another memorable vacation !

Very Disappointing

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: unbeknownst to me at the time I complained ,the leaking septic system that was flowing off of the back deck steps was a known issue....must be why the grating was laying over it. I understand now this isnt the first time and that the tank is to small. Had I known this at the time I would have been more upset. Additionally, there is a large woodpecker that has made a huge hole in the outside of the house and it gets started pecking every morning at daylight ....inside the house. Guest Bedroom on the left. The hole wasn't created on the first day I rented the house. I have rented this house in the past and others from Big Fish. VERY disapointed!

Simply AMAZING house with the best views on Lake Martin! Our family played corn hole & football in the yard, enjoyed time together sitting around the water, went boating, fishing & kayaking, cooked a huge low country boil, & made many other wonderful memories! This house had everything we needed & more - we can't wait to return!!

SailBoat Point - graduation celebration

We absolutely loved the property! So peaceful and the home was so spacious that we had plenty of room. The property manager (Big Fish Realty, Heather) was super responsive any time I contacted her. The 4-star review, while everything else was terrific & 5-star level, is that the exterior stone stairs on both the kitchen-side and the game-room-side had flat stones that were loose to the point of presenting a safety hazard. Several stones (both large and small) were not secure in their mortar and were merely resting in their spot - unattached. Thankful for the railings for support on the game-room-side so my 75 year-old parents could safely navigate and use those stairs primarily (though they were very anxious about the loose stones and the potential for a fall). Once those are replaced/repaired, it's a solid 5-stars, no question! And I'll highly recommend. When I alerted Heather to the stairs situation, she noted they were aware and it sounded like that repair is on a punch-list. So, just something to be aware of until it's repaired. (I also let her know about a roof leak we discovered when it rained - something they wouldn't know about unless they were inside the home *while* it was raining).We'll definitely have this one on our "favorites" list and appreciate having had the opportunity to visit! (This was my 1st VRBO!)

The bedrooms are huge and beds are very comfortable. It was during the winter so we weren’t able to get out on the water, but the views are spectacular. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. It was a perfect cozy getaway location.

Beautiful Views on the Lake

We had a wonderful weekend at this Lake Martin home. We brought our boat and were able to use the ramp at the house. The accommodations were nice and we had plenty of room. The A/C went out while we were there but the property manager went out of their way to try and fix the situation. They were very easy to communicate with during our stay. The views were amazing and the location was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the good: the location and view were truly amazing. It should be advertised as 2 1/2 bathrooms not 2 as it says on website. I'd like to give it a better rating but..Now the bad: Property needs some maintenance. Many deck boards sticking up, nail heads sticking up, cobblestone stairs were uneven and loose. Saw a few roaches. Wife stepped on a wasp inside the house. In one bedroom upstairs you could hear what sounded like animals in the walls or attic. Several chairs were in disrepair. Microwave was dirty. No railing on one side of deck. Keurig didn't work.
