Home is right next door to another Airbnb space that has 2 connecting doors through the inside, that are locked on both sides for your safety and privacy. There is a “Quiet Room” in this Airbnb to reduce noise for next door guest. Picture it is like a duplex set up. House will be all yours other than a laundry room in the back of the house.

Pets are welcome but you are responsible for any damage.

My stay in Plant City Florida

Property is located in projects and a homeless encampment across street, plus broken down cars in back yard. Only thing shown on website is front of house and that's accurate. I did not spend one night at this property. I lost $1000 on this plus finding other lodging.

There is not enough lipstick to cover up this crooked little pig!

I want to start with a bit of background. I booked this property in June 2023 and there were no negative reviews. I returned to the site a week before the trip to determine what, if anything I needed to bring with us and when I read the reviews from the summer months I was appalled! I called VRBO and spoke with Eduardo. After 26 minutes on the phone he indicated there was nothing VRBO could do, but if we got to the property and it was a health/safety hazard, then we could call back about emergency accommodations. I was told to contact the property owner to see if they would entertain a refund. I did so and the only thing entertaining was the response. I was offered a refund for 1 night of a 4 night stay – I was going to be out 85% of my money. NOT! The property probably did not rise to the level of a health/safety hazard, but it was pretty darn near close. My original review definitely exceeded the 1500 character limit so here is the condense version: - The homeless encampment mentioned in another review was not visible, but I could definitely see where it would be possible – the neighborhood is ‘THE HOOD of Plant City’. - The property owner got the message about the cat pee smell noted in previous posts because the amount of air fresheners in the place was staggering – my eyes are still burning! If you have read this review and are still considering a stay at this property….do yourself a favor keep looking!

Not great but not completely awful

When traveling with a child and 2 dogs we have learned we can't expect a whole lot, especially in the realm of cleanliness. Most pet friendly places aren't super clean, it's to be expected and we do genuinely appreciate the pet friendliness! BUT this place WREAKED like cat pee! I honestly question if the house was cleaned between renters bc there were greasy pots in the cabinets & it smelled like someone had just finished cooking when we got there. The 2 bathrooms only had 1 half roll of toilet paper each so we had to go buy our own. The upstairs shower had a bunch of hair in the drain & the floor of the shower was so dirty my husband had to clean the shower himself before we felt comfortable using it and all of the towels were dirty! The TV room had a dried questionable puddle in the middle of the room. On the other hand, the beds were very clean & comfortable. So there's that at least! The last thing to mention is, the setup of this place is super awkward. The description of the property says that there is a separate rental in the house. There is a locked door with a huge "DO NOT ENTER" sign separating the rentals. I think we got really unlucky with whoever was staying there the first night we were there (THIS IS NO FAULT OF THE OWNER, as far as I know just to be clear) because it was a couple who literally spent all night screaming at each other so we didn't sleep at all. If your budget is small & you need a pet friendly spot you get what you pay for!

Renters Beware

Don’t be fooled by the photos listed for this rental. To be fair, the photos show the spaces, some of the finishes and the furniture correctly, it is what they do not show that makes this rental one to stay away from. Starting on the outside of the property, it has simply had no maintenance. The yard was weeks overgrown, 2 junk cars and a camper were parked behind the property, and due to heavy rains while we were there, we had to walk through several inches of water on the uneven front walk to the front door. Also to be noted is that the tile used on the back steps kept them slippery and dangerous for our stay. Inside, the home was not clean and the bathrooms were especially filthy. 3 of the beds had only a fitted sheet, pillows, and one blanket on them, the 4th had no sheets, pillows or blankets to be found. Also, the downstairs bedroom is listed as having 2 double beds when there was a single bed with a trundle bed underneath. There were no towels in the kitchen, and only 4 bath towels left for our use. The shared laundry space would have been fine if it had not been filthy and filled with junk. I, unfortunately, had to find towels (that were stained) and blankets for my family to use in this space. As for the quiet room between the 2 rental spaces, I cannot see how it possibly existed. There was simply a locked interior door between the 2 spaces, which was uncomfortable when we realized we could clearly hear all that was happening in the second space, and even wo
