Waterloo Cottage - Beautiful Lakefront Cottage at Clear Lake Near Chelsea, MI.

Cottage will be ready for University of Michigan Football Games and for Beautiful Fall Color Viewing and Holiday Stays. Now Taking Reservations for Full Weeks in Summer 2025. Charming, authentic Michigan lakefront cottage situated right on desirable, private, all-sports Clear Lake right in the heart of the Waterloo Recreation Area in Grass Lake, MI Near Chelsea. The Cottage Rents by the Week from Memorial Day thru Labor Day-- Saturday to Saturday-- check in at 4 PM and check-out at 10 AM. Two Night Minimum Stays are Available in other Months. The lake is surrounded by rolling, tree covered hills. It is a 136-acre lake described as the most scenic lake in the county. The cottage is 10 minutes away from Chelsea, MI, 20 minutes from Jackson, and 25 minutes from Ann Arbor.

The Waterloo cottage is newly remodeled with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a Queen bed and the two upstairs bedrooms each have bunk beds with twin beds on top and a full on the bottom. The Living Room has a sofa with a pull-out queen sleeper bed. The large bathroom has a soaking tub, shower, and double vanity. The small bathroom has a toilet and sink. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. There is a 30-foot aluminum dock and two kayaks, a paddle boat and a large aluminum rowboat provided. Sunrises and sunsets are magnificent when viewed from the cottage on a hill-- with 130 feet of lake frontage. There are deck steps leading down to the lake with a small sitting area down below overlooking the lake. There is a Newer Pontoon Boat Available to Rent for an Additional Fee.

Rents Saturday to Saturday in the summer months-- check in at 4 PM and check-out at 10 AM. Superb biking from cottage. Bring your bikes as many bike races and recreational biking take place on Clear Lake Road and the surrounding roads due to the challenging rolling hills that are present in the area. The cottage is also surrounded by State Forest Land for Beautiful Views and walking trails. There are outdoor sitting areas, a fire ring with chairs, and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.
