Esta cabaña se encuentra a pocos pasos del paseo marítimo a la playa. La propiedad está completamente renovada y cuenta con una cocina gourmet: refrigerador Sub Zero, Wolf Range, máquina de hielo Uline Undercounter, enfriador de vino GE Monogram, gabinetes a medida y encimeras de granito. La cocina está totalmente equipada y lista para disfrutar. La mesa de comedor adyacente tiene capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente.

El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama king con una entrada privada al porche con mosquitero. La primera habitación está equipada con una cama queen y la segunda habitación cuenta con dos camas individuales. Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con televisores de pantalla plana y acceso a DirectTV. Los baños cuentan con duchas con cabezal de ducha tipo lluvia, cerramientos de vidrio y encimeras de granito.

La habitación familiar ofrece asientos cómodos además de un televisor de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD y sistema estéreo. También ofrecemos Wi-Fi y servicio telefónico local y nacional gratuito.

Afuera, puede disfrutar de comidas en el porche, o escuchar las olas de las mecedoras en la terraza. Los hermosos robles vivos rodean la casa y ofrecen el entorno arbolado perfecto. También hemos proporcionado una parrilla de gas en la cubierta para su disfrute.

The cozy cottage at the beach was perfect for a relaxing Thanksgiving. The gourmet kitchen had all the essential to make wonderful meal. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to enjoy all that kiawah has to offer.

Excellent location-close to the beach. The cottage had everything we needed to make our 4 week stay comfortable and convenient. In addition to the expected bedding and towels there were plenty of beach towels, laundry detergent and kitchen cleaning supplies. We were even offered a mid-stay cleaning by the host! The kitchen was well outfitted with coffee makers, pots, pans, ice maker, and even aluminum foil and Saran Wrap! We felt like guests in the host’s home-not vacationing renters.

Wonderful!

Such a great property! We had a wonderful week. Location is absolutely perfect - couldn't be closer to the beach access. The house was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed the screened in area on the deck! Kitchen has high end appliances and all the essentials you might need. We loved the ice maker and now want one for our home! Beds are super comfortable. Overall, this is a truly wonderful place to stay, and we can't wait to return.

First time Kiawah visitors

This was our first vacation to the Kiawah Island area and truth be told we really were not sure what to expect. Fortunately our experience was very positive. My wife and I like to travel in the so called "shoulder seasons" to avoid the crowds that come with the high or more popular times of the year. Kiawah Island beach was beautiful, perhaps the prettiest beach we have ever ever been to and we have been to several on the east coast. The cottage was very well equiped! I can't think of one single item that wasn't there that we needed especially in the kitchen. We chose to eat most of our meals in the cottage especially breakfast and dinner. We did enjoy our night at The Atlantic Room for a wonderful seafood dinner and also went to Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House for a less formal barbeque dinner that was great. The house we rented from Karen in Oceanwood was everything as advertised. Closest house in the neighborhood to the beach, a walk of no more than 1-2 minutes. Bicycle an walking paths almost at our front doors. Be advised however when on these paths if you see a warning sign about alligators pay attention! Our daughter and son in law went out for a run one evening and came across a gator no more than 6 feet away from them near a lagoon! Finally, Karen was simply a delight to work with. She was very helpful with any questions we may have, prompt to get back to us when or if we had to leave a message and full of helpful hints on where to eat in Kiawah as well as Charleston. We couldn't have picked a better person to do business with. Thanks Karen for all your help.

This cute cottage is a two minute walk to the beach. Plenty of rooms with comfortable beds and nice showers. The kitchen has everything you need to cook in with state of the art appliances. There is a screened in porch and outdoor deck.This is a very relaxing area with numerous bike and walking trails. This is a definite repeat stay for us. Karen was super responsive with all questions we had.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Perfect beach house for our family of four. The house was clean, updated and furnished with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking was very easy. The location is excellent! You are as close to the beach as you can get without staying on the beach. Karen was super easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Kiawah.

Comfortable and well appointed cottage!

This is a well-appointed cottage in a perfect location. The furnishings, including beds, are comfortable and the kitchen has nice appliances and space. The owner is communicative and has made little touches like having detergent, etc and beach chairs for use. It’s a fantastic home, and we look forward to returning!

Great Location AND Great Space

Plenty of space for three women celebrating 40 years of friendship. We sat in the screened porch every night. Clean, comfortable beds, ice machine a plus, a cooks kitchen and plenty of towels, wine glasses and cleaning supplies; a couple minute walk to the beach and connected to 30 miles of bike trails.

Superb!

This place is wonderful! Loved the high end kitchen, and we cooked everyday. Also loved the crushed ice machine. Easy key access, and Karen’s communication was always prompt. Located right at the beach path, so walking to the beach was quick.

Top Notch Location & Amenities

If you are looking for a well-appointed three bedroom property located in close proximity to the ocean without the ocean-front price, this is it. As a long time visitor to Kiawah (since 1982), this home is hands-down my favorite location to stay. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in. We made eggs, bacon and goetta (a Cincinnati thing) every day on the gas range. Wanna make a few casseroles? Grill burgers and fresh seafood? Make pasta and meatballs? Celebrate Taco Tuesday? Our crew of teenagers and adults did it all. The kitchen table comfortably seated our party of 6 and was the site of some fiercely competitive card games. The house has very comfortable beds and ample storage for clothes if you wish to unpack them. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet with spare sheets, pillows, and bath towels. The house maintained a comfortable temperature which made for great sleeping at night. While we brought boogie boards, spike ball and tidal ball with us, there are a number of beach toys, bocce ball and beach chairs available to use. The house is located on a cul-de-sac that is right next to the pathway to the ocean and to the bike path. A short ride takes you to Night Heron Park and all the fun activities for teens and young families. Karen is a terrific host and is highly responsive when you reach out to her. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect location, beautiful property

We were incredibly happy with every aspect of our stay at this Oceanwoods cottage! We love the Oceanwoods location due to the proximity to the beach - it is right across the street, which you can't beat. Since we love to cook a lot, the well-appointed kitchen was a plus -- Wolf range, Sub Zero fridge, and ice maker. Beds were super comfortable and bedding was high quality. Great huge deck, although not much privacy (since right on the bike path). We also loved the screened-in porch, although it could use more seating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place but...

If there was just “one thing” that could’ve been better, we wish it was cleaner upon arrival. It’s a “beachy” locale, but already had plenty of sand on the entry tile, wood floors and bathroom floors. The back deck had not been swept for some time and was laden with many spiderwebs. We spent some valuable time to clean it for our use. The owner will surely update the cleaning service as I’m sure they don’t know of this issue. Great location, a bottle of wine and excellent amenities. Kitchen was maxed out on high end gas range and sub zero fridge with an extra ice maker!

Fantastic place — fantastic week

We’ve come to Kiawah for 32 years and this was by far our favorite! Great accommodations - Owner has thought of everything. Comfortable cottage, plenty of room and so close to the beach! Everything you need to have a relaxing stay on this lively island. We will be back!

Best Family Beach Trip!

My husband and I and our two boys (ages 5 and 2) had the most wonderful stay at this house! The house is charming, beautifully decorated, and spotless. But the best thing for us had to be the location. It was super easy to get to the beach with our two young children. We had such a wonderful time and it really felt like we were staying at a friend's house as opposed to a rental property. Having things like extra beach gear and laundry detergent was just so convenient. And Karen is just the nicest person! She was so helpful and friendly when we spoke. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Beautiful home, fantastic location!

We’ve rented dozens of cottages and homes at Kiawah since our first visit in 1983; this is one of our favorites. Freshly updated, with wonderful bathrooms, comfy beds, and a cozy living room, the home felt like home to our family and friends. The kitchen was well supplied with all the tools needed to prepare any meal (we ate at home all nine days of our stay). Loved the separate barrel ice maker, the gas grill on the deck, the top-of-the-line washer/dryer, and all of the extra supplies in the home. The location is perfect—just steps to the beach and bike path. The surf can be heard from the deck and screened in porch. Being located on the corner of the block also provides more space from neighbors, and privacy. The host was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. We hope to return to stay in this home again soon!

My family has vacationed on Kiawah Island since I was 9 years old. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent on the beach, sailing, and bike riding here as a child. I am thrilled to be able to share these experiences with my children now. While it is only 5 hours from our home in Atlanta, Kiawah is like escaping to another world with the semi-tropical surroundings.

While the cottage is only steps away from the ocean, it is also a short walk from Night Heron Park which features a Nature Center, playground, and recreational fields. Golf and tennis are also a short distance from the house. Shopping, dining, and a Mobile 5 star Spa (The Sanctuary) are also only a short drive.
