Perfect modern home with all the comforts

We rented this house for 4 days during Christmas and it was the perfect house for a desert escape. It’s super private, amazing convenient location, and the all the decor and finishes are very Palm Springs modern but also super comfortable. Every detail has been thought out. The owner was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and would absolutely recommend this to place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Beautiful property perfect for three couples

This property wowed us from the moment we walked through the door. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed. This is important because we cooked all of our meals instead of going out. The backyard is perfect for the dogs and they loved being off leash. The backyard was an oasis for the adults with a beautiful pool and several seating areas. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Great house, wonderful stay!

We had a great stay in Walker Ross’s lovely mid century ranch home in Palm Springs. It is all the listing indicates and more. It is comfortable and up to date yet full of period pieces. And Mr. Ross was a wonderful host. He met us when we arrived and seemed genuinely interested in enhancing our stay, providing advice on a number of questions while we were there. We hope to stay there again next winter.

Fabulous Mid-Century Modern Retreat

Our family of six loved staying at the Atomic Ranch. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and stocked with thoughtful extras (chic toiletries, Nespresso coffee & creamer, board games, interesting books). The owner, Clay, has thought of every detail and is very friendly and helpful. What makes this house so special is the yard. The yard is spacious, gorgeous, and very private, with lovely mountain views and a large heated pool. We spent most of our time by the pool, playing ping pong, and enjoying the perfect weather. This is a lovingly maintained, classic home in a quiet, classic neighborhood.

A well put together vacation rental

The Atomic Ranch delivered for our 3 day weekend in Palm Springs. We were very impressed with the decor, amenities and the excellent home sound system. Instructions upon arrival were very clear and concise (wifi password though was incorrect) and the house was clean. The yard was amazing for our 2 hounds who made the trip with us and with the very secure and private borders around the entire backyard, it was perfect for them. We were attending a Parker wedding so the location was perfect for us, central to both The Parker and to Downtown Palm Springs. The Master suite is wonderfully appointed and second bedroom is good also. The 3rd bedroom (was not relevant for our stay) is on the small side and the stereo whilst wonderful did take a few minutes to understand how to allocate volumes between the house and the outside (not a deterrent as it is an excellent system). We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing property

I don't usually write reviews, but wanted to make a special effort for this property. I stayed there with 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog, and there was everything we needed and more. Plenty of room, bedding, towels, board games, pool accessories, kitchen goods and even condiments for cooking. The beds and bedding were amazing too. The property itself is stunning - quite like a resort, and if you are a fan of mid century architecture or decor, this is a must. Tasteful and never kitch, it's perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

Stop Looking and Rent this House

You will love love this house. It is as gorgeous as the photos look, but what you can't tell from images is how comfortable everything is from the beds, to the chairs, to the carpets, to the pool floats. Clay has thought of everything a guest could want, including a well stocked kitchen--everything you need to cook with or make cocktails with (to enjoy at the swanky wet-bar by the pool). The towels are large and plush, the linens are crisp and comfy, the yard is beautifully maintained and nicely lit. You can pipe your own music into every room, which my husband just loved. We (family of four) didn't want to leave. The house is also conveniently located, and there are two bikes to tool around on. Palm Springs offered to much more than tennis and golf, too, which my active family enjoyed.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this wonderful house celebrating his 40th birthday. It was a wonderful weekend in a beautiful house. The layout of the interior was perfect for our family and friends and the outside was an entertainers dream, great hang out/bar area and large yard. The owner was very accommodating and the house was completely stocked! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Palm Springs Vacation Home

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful home for 5 days over New Year's 2011. The pictures really don't do this place justice. It's gorgeously designed, has everything you'll need, and is in a great location (we walked to the Ace Hotel a few times). The owner was extremely gracious and responsive and I would absolutely recommend this place to friends. I plan to rent this house again in the future. Again, it's a great place for up to 6 people to relax and have fun. Make sure to jump in the heated pool and play a few rounds of croquet while you're there!

LOVED IT!

Beautiful Mid-Century style with AMAZING views!!! This is a great home in a great neighborhood (loved being able to walk to restaurants). The house is spacious, beautifully appointed and has a cool vibe the minute you walk in the door.... Beautiful and Relaxing Home - Inside and Out

I've stayed at this property several times and always want to come back. The home is tastefully designed and appointed with mid-century furniture. The house is clean and meticulously maintained. And the large yard, pool and outdoor bar make entertaining or just lounging in the sun a great experience. This home is in a great location and is worth every cent.

Palm Springs perfection

My friends (from the UK) and I couldn't get enough of this house. The garden and pool are stunning. We spent a lot of time taking pictures with the amazing view as a backdrop, and made good use of the outside bar! The house is beautiful, and beautifully furnished. You could tell that it has been restored with love - it's true to the Palm Springs mid-century modern style, but also very comfortable. The owner was great. Highly recommended.
