Welcome to Blue Haven at Smith Moutain Lake where lake views welcome you for coffee or tea in the morning, and sunsets from the balcony or screen porch call you in the evening! Located on a quiet cove just steps from the water in the premiere Mariners Landing Exclusive Resort in Huddleston, Va, amenities include, golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball, a hot tub, 3 restaurants & more.


* What you can expect *

Kitchen - A fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, including a Keurig & regular coffee maker, toaster oven and air fryer.

Dining Area - Seating for 6.

Living Room - Plenty of comfortable seating in the freshly renovated space with cozy blankets and Wi-Fi access to streaming services.

Bedroom 1 - King bed with bathroom with double sinks. Sliding door onto screened in porch.

Bedroom 2 - 2 Queen beds, full guest bath access. Full size washer, dryer for your use.

Hall Bath - Hallway door can be closed to give the option of a private suite for Bedroom 2.

Covered patio with high top table and seating for 4 and a gas grill.

Screened porch with comfortable furniture, sliding door access to Bedroom 1.

Bed linens and bath towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Upon booking you will need to provide your email address if you'd like to receive information on accessing the resort amenities. There also will be a link to register your boat in advance for a slip near the condo, for an additional fee.

Cherry and bright and met our cleanliness expectations. A few things could use the attention of a handyman and I communicated that to Mia. We were disappointed that the gas FP was inoperable however the owner was not aware of that issue.

Property was in great location - easy walk to lake, pool, fitness area, walking trails. The condo was nice and simple with great views from the balcony and screened in area. The doors to the laundry room were either off-track or broken and the grill (which was electric) was very dirty and the drip pan was full - we emptied the drip pan and tried to clean it but decided not use it because it was a little too much work to get it clean. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Beautiful condo with nice views of the lake. Furniture is nice and comfy, and updated with a soothing palette. Super clean! We had everything we needed in the kitchen. TV and WiFi were easy to access and worked well. Close to the resort amenities. We would definitely return!

Great condo with all the views and comfort you could ask for! Mia was fantastic to respond promptly. We docked our boat out front all week and enjoyed the amenities.

We had a wonderful time at Mariners Landing. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us. The condo was great! Everything was as listed. Very inviting. Games and coloring books there for the kids came in handy the one afternoon we had storms. Location is great. Easy walk to the lake, pool, and the Pointe. Relaxing view.Only complaint is there is a neighbor (may have been another renter) who smoked the entire time. Other than that we loved sitting on the porch.

Beautiful condo with gorgeous lake views

My friend and I had a wonderful stay! The kitchen was fully stocked, the place was incredibly clean and the view was amazing. Our host Mia was very communicative which we appreciated even gave us recommendations to do a boat tour which we absolutely loved since it was our first time at Smith Mountain Lake. The only snafu was the Wi-Fi was out- we tried to reset but it still didn’t come on all weekend, not a big deal since we were busy and didn’t watch tv but had to use our own cellular data. We will definitely be back to this lovely gem!

Time with Grammy

Grammy is now 88 years old and is not as spry as she used to be. We were looking for a place where we could all relax, play games, hang at the pool, golf etc. SML checked all the boxes. Mia’s condo was perfect. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was immaculate and had plenty of kitchen supplies such as pans, dishes, silverware etc. and we loved the 2 balconies. We couldn’t have asked for more. Mia was easily reachable when we had questions and we would definitely return.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time at SML. The place is beautifully decorated, well located, and very comfortable. Mia was a dream to work with, she was quick to respond, very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again. The amenities were a nice bonus.

Super with some minor inconveniences

With all fairness I want to say that the condo is beautifully decorated and beautifully furnished. It was well stocked in the kitchen as far as pots and pans and nice dishes and glasses/cups. The location is primo. It was close to the pool, restaurants, and the game room. The view is great. You can tell the homeowners take pride in their home. We enjoyed the deck and screen porch. I gave a four for cleanliness because there was a lot of food left behind in the refrigerator, freezer, cabinets and drawers. The towels that were left in the bedrooms for our use did not have a good smell and I had to wash them before we used them. There were personal items including one dirty men's sock in the nightstand drawer where I would usually put my books that I read at night. I usually don't unpack my clothing and use the drawers so it wasn't much of an issue and I just left my book and Bible on top of the night stand. The grill on the outside deck was covered with grease and my husband had to spend time cleaning it before we used it. I'm sure this is all the fault of the cleaning service and if no one brought it to the owners attention they wouldn't know unless they inspect the condo after every guest. We didn't bring it to the owners attention, we just cleaned what needed to be cleaned and put all of the items that were left in the refrigerator in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator. Those things wouldn't stop us from staying there again. There were many more positives than negatives.

Just Wonderful!

This property is perfect for a family of 4! It has everything you need and it’s very clean. The beds were also very comfortable and the view from the top floor is great! Everything listed was accurate and we had no issues. My family and I had a wonderful time at Smith Mountain Lake!

Summer at the Lake

This was our first time renting a condo on smith mountain lake. We have always stayed at a home. It was a wonderful choice, the condo was very comfortable, well decorated. We loved its location with a water view and the community it was in, mariners landing. We loved the convenience and ease of walking or driving down to the point in the same community we stayed and renting a pontoon for the week and the ease of docking it in the public boat dock next to the rentals. The multiple pool options, hot tub and gym were a hit with my kids as well. When we weren’t on the boat they were out enjoying the community amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo!

I was vacationing with my adult daughter & two grandchildren. We loved our stay! The hostess, Mia, was very responsive and helpful. The view from our deck was amazing & we even watched deer roaming down below in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised that the property was so quiet. As far as the condo itself, the layout was perfect having the bedrooms in opposite ends to give our family privacy. It was clean & well equipped & organized. I’m very particular and I couldn’t have asked for more from our stay & the condo. I would love to revisit with my husband in the future! Thank you. 😀

Fun weekend at the lake

We chose this property due to its proximity to the state park. It was everything the pictures showed and more. We loved the balcony/screened porch and the beautiful view of the lake. The atmosphere was very chill, even on a holiday weekend. There were so many amenities, many within a short walk of the condo. Would definitely love to come back!

We had a great visit to SML!

This was our first time visiting SML. We had a great time at Mariner's Landing - everything onsite for a great vacation. We took advantage of the pool, game room, clubhouse restaurant and boat rentals. My husband wished he had brought his golf clubs - low green fees. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. A lot of space and great views of the lake. Recommend bringing some extra paper towels and toliet paper to ensure you have enough for the whole week. Other than that we had everything we needed. Thank you! We took day trips to Lynchburg to see Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest and Beford's WWII D-Day Memorials & ended the day at Booker T Washington's birthplace. Highly recommend all. We also drove to Roanoke for lunch at Three Knotch'd Brewery. We had previously visited the flagship in Charlottesville and the Roanoke location did not disappoint.

Great Lakefront condo!

The condo was gorgeous and clean! The view from the living room, master bedroom, and balcony were breathtaking. If you bring your boat, there is a boat slip in front of the condo. The only downside is that the boat slip in front of condo does not have electricity. There is another boat slip at the point of the resort that you can dock at, that does have electricity. There is much to do between pickleball, tennis, basketball, swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools, golf, and fishing. The owner responds quickly to any questions that we had along the way, as this was our first time doing a Vrbo! My family loved the entire week! Can’t wait to return!

Great Place! Lots for the entire family to do!

My family stayed in this condo for 7 days... It was better than described! Very clean and spacious with a great view of the lake and lots of amenities to keep the kids busy the entire week. The host was very accommodating and we enjoyed the stay very much! I would highly recommend! 5 out of 5 stars all the way!

Wonderful condo with lake view

We had a wonderful at this property. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with most kitchen accessories needed for simple meals. Relaxing screen room and balcony with lovely views of the lake. Owner was very responsive to answering questions about the condo both before and while renting it. Highly recommended.
