This property is fantastic. The views of the lake, the way the condo is decorated and equipped makes it an exceptional VRBO experience. The furnishings were clean, modern and it is apparent the hosts have thought of all the details to make their property a really great experience

Amazing view, very well kept, very easy check in and check out process. My wife and I visit SML 3-4 times a year over the last 10 years and have stayed at many different places, Bernard’s Landing has always been one of our favorites and On Lake Time certainly didn’t disappoint. Also very easy dock access if you bring your own boat and they have a landing right on the premises which was a big help for us.

My husband, college son and I enjoyed our stay. We brought our bass boat. My husband and son enjoyed lots of fishing on SML. The condo was just as described. We docked our boat and was able to see it from the condo. We would definitely stay again if we come back to SML.

Lovely place to stay on a quiet cove on the Bernard's Landing property. The unit was just as described, and comfortably sized/equipped for up to 4 people. So nice to have one of the pools so close, and we appreciated having beach towels and pool floats available. We did go to the on-site restaurant one night (make a reservation!), and there are other restaurants and shops about 15 minutes away. We'd love to come back to this unit on a future getaway.

Relaxing Stay in SML

This property was so cozy and very well stocked! It is conveniently located as well with a lot to do in the area. We loved it so much we extended our stay for one more night. Would highly recommend this property along with it’s top notch hosts!

Bernard’s Landing SML

We had a wonderful time staying in the condo. Wish we could have stayed a day longer, but had to get back. All the little extra touches of arrival snacks, beach towels and floating devices were greatly appreciated.

Another great stay at ON LAKE TIME!

We were back for another long weekend at SML. We enjoyed the heated pool, beautiful sunrises, and delicious meals at Napoli by the Lake. The condo is beautifully decorated and well equipped for any needs. Bernard’s Landing Resort has so many wonderful amenities. We can’t wait to spend more time at this great condo!

Beautiful lake vacation

Before School Getaway

We took this trip to "On Lake Time" before heading back for the school year. It was a quick trip but the property was great! The location is SO great. There is a pool less than 50 yards away that has great hours. A restaurant that is well under a 1/4 of a mile that can be accessed via a boardwalk that is just adorable. Oh and the beach area across from the condo was a HUGE hit!

Awesome place to stay!

What a great view and an awesome place to stay. Walt and Sherry have gone above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They even had items we didn’t realize we needed. Waking up and having coffee on the deck was a daily thing we did to just relax and enjoy the view. So many great amenities too. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back because my family loved it!! Thanks again!!

Another awesome stay at On Lake Time

We have stayed at this condo three times, and hope to visit many more. The condo is perfect for two couples. In addition to having great amenities, the owners have thought of things you may have forgotten—K Cups toiletries beach towels ice packs for your cooler Bluetooth speaker and many others. The view is great, and Bernard’s Landing is perfect for a great vacation—restaurant/bar, boat rentals, three pools, beach area, boat ramp, and courtesy docks. On every trip, we’ve commented on how quiet and peaceful it is there. Sherry is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns! If you’re on the fence about renting “ On Lake Time”, just book it. You’ll be happy that you did!

Amazing Lakeside Stay

This was the first time visiting Smith Mountain Lake and it was a wonderful visit, thanks in large part to this amazing condo. The other reviews and photos were exactly spot on. The host was very helpful in answering our questions and ensuring we would have everything we needed—including a cooler request. We had a welcome snack basket waiting for us—a very thoughtful and nice touch. We were very impressed with the condo overall and the location, perfect for parking a boat at the slip. Also, many thanks again for accommodating our situation considering we came on motorcycles and left behind unopened beverages and snacks for the cleaning crew or whoever wanted them—really appreciated the understanding.
