The heart of the home is a well-equipped kitchen designed with groups in mind — featuring stainless steel appliances, double ovens, and two dishwashers. A 10-person dining table makes mealtimes a shared experience, and the wraparound deck is perfect for sipping coffee, enjoying sunset dinners, or simply soaking in the coastal breeze.

Five peaceful bedrooms are spread across two floors, including a king suite with French doors to the deck, two queen rooms on the main level, and a finished attic with two private bedrooms — one with a queen bed and the other with four twin beds, perfect for kids or singles. Incredible views with lots of space inside & out! We loved our stay here with our family of 6. The mud room off to the side of the entrance was so incredibly helpful as our shoes were wet & muddy from the beach & being outside. Would have appreciated better window shades (you can completely see into the rooms at night). Would have appreciated creamer & sugar packets for the coffee that was left on the counter. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time gathering as a family from all over the country for a fun and relaxing stay. The view from the deck was better than advertised and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and short drive into town. We had stormy weather and sunny weather and both provided excellent sights and sounds from the property. Plenty of room for everyone and it worked out great!

The house is spacious and clean; all appliances were in good working order. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach; however, the hills and stairs were a bit challenging for the youngest and oldest in our group. Overall we had a great time and were very comfortable in the home.

Our family of 10 celebrated a destination Thanksgiving at Anchors Retreat this year and we were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, functionality and charm of the house. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and dish needed to prepare our family favorites and we had plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably at the dining table. Dual ovens and dishwashers made dinner prep and cleanup easier than it would have been at home. We had more than enough sleeping space and enjoyed the large living room with views. Each room had a personal touch that truly made it feel like a holiday. The neighborhood elk gave us a fond farewell as we were checking out which made it hard to leave. Can’t wait to be back for our next Oregon coast getaway.

We loved this property. It has 5 bedrooms and lots of beds and was very clean. There are two ovens and two dishwashers to make cooking and clean up easy for a group. We really liked how the home was set on the end of a quiet street and had stunning views from a beautiful deck. There was plenty of parking and the washer and dryer were really convenient. If you are trying to decide between Seaside and Cannon Beach, we thought Cannon Beach was much nicer and this location was great for accessing all the sites like Hug Point and the lookouts we wanted to go to. Definitely would stay here again!

Stunning views with lots of space, even better in person

We spent five nights here at the end of March. There always a lot of room for everyone to spread out so that we weren’t on top of one another. The kitchen was recently remodeled and well equipped. There were plenty of games and tvs in each room to help stay occupied on rainy days. The view was absolutely stunning and the property shows it off with the large deck and many windows. My family was extremely pleased with the accommodations.

Everything we could have wanted

Hotel quality bedrooms and bathrooms, while being welcoming and comfortable in the main house. Great for large groups as there were an abundance of chairs everywhere with a large open kitchen and family room to gather in. The view was spectacular with walls of windows everywhere and a great fireplace to sit and look at the views. It was very clean. It exceeded all our expectations. Note to manager, rolly pollies in master sliding doors and when using stove the knobs turned on just leaning on them. We had gas on and didn't know it until we smelled the gas..just observations

Pretty view, pretty pricey

The location was good and the town was wonderful. Walkable to the beach but very steep drive to get there. The deck was wonderful...great furniture, lovely view, quiet. Open kitchen, comfortable couch. Plenty of space, very clean. The photos show simple bedding but when we arrived the bedding was cheap and dated. The yellow room bed was really bad, very loud, very used. Bathrooms were nice, plenty of bath towels. It definitely felt over priced. With some simple upgrades (nicer dishes/utensils, nicer bedding/pillows, extra kitchen towels, updated tv's, removing a dozen silk plants and a handful of extra chairs) it would have been perfect.

Cannon Beach over Christmas

Overall our stay was great. House is roomy enough for an extended family. Two bedrooms upstairs are less comfortable for adults as ceiling height is limited by the shape of the roof. However main level has 3 bedrooms which was plenty for our family. The ocean view is great. House is generally located very well with 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 min to the Pelican brewery. Which are really all the places you need to walk to. However the house is on a steep ( I mean it) street and all the way uphill, which makes you prefer driving mostly. Check in process is designed well, but we did not receive the door code 2 days ahead as stated in rental agreement, I had to call the day of arrival to get the code. The code did not work at the door so I had to call again, that experience was great by the way, even I called after hours, the issue was resolved in minutes. The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. Kitchen is equipped very well.

Not worth the money

The property itself is nice, clean for the most part, with the exception of a few cobwebs, and if all you really want is space and a convenient location than this house will work. However, for me it was not worth the money I paid. The wifi never worked, and if you are there for a week with teenagers, you need to have wifi for them to enjoy some down time. Limited TV channels, no Hulu or NFL network. The bedsheets feel very coarse and cheap, the pillows on the master bed were hard and lumpy and although it appears to be private, it's not. We did not feel comfortable using the front porch because you look right into the neighbors driveway and they are always outside, smoking and encroaching on the driveway. I believe they own both properties, however, they should be respectful if someone has rented the home for a week. We felt like we were being watched as we came and went. Because the properties are so close we had to keep the blinds down because they could see right in, therefore, unable to truly enjoy the view of the beach. Some remotes didn't work, and batteries were dead in the games. I believe when you spend a significant amount of money to stay somewhere, your stay should be absolutely flawless and 100% comfortable.

Great house and location for a family reunion

The house’s view, interior, and location are as great as the pictures on the listing show. We had a family reunion with my family and my wife’s sister’s family at this house for a week in early June, with kids 5 and up. The pictures don’t show it, but there are plastic cups and dishes appropriate for little kids, which is always a concern of mine at a rental. Although across Hemlock from the beach, it was a short, easy walk for the kids. The neighbors, who are local, were very kind to share with us some of the crabs they caught, which was a wonderful bonus!

A lovely girls weekend

The house was beautifully located, clean and tastefully decorated. The view and outside deck were spectacular. Beds were comfortable with high end bedding lending to comfort. Only suggestion would be for a few more wine glasses flatware and place settings in the kitchen. Overall wonderful stay!

Once again amazing!!

This was our second time staying here. You just can’t go wrong with this rental. The location is amazing. The view is amazing. The house is amazing. We needed the bbq and they made sure to have it ready for us. We celebrated a birthday and they had a small cake and steamer for us. We love it here and cannot wait to come back.

Gorgeous view deck - lovely kitchen

Perfect for 6 college women friends (Seattle, Davis, Atlanta, Burlington, Boston and Louisville) catching up after 50 years. We walked miles on the beach a few blocks away and it was a short drive to spectacular hikes in the nearby state parks. Only request—replacement batteries for the remote and brighter reading lights in the bedrooms. Thank you for hosting us. The house was lovely in every way.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is gorgeous and the perfect getaway for our family of 5. So many nearby places to explore but we loved our family time sitting on the deck, by the fireplace or cooking in the fabulous kitchen. Amenities galore and well appointed. Can’t wait to return!
