Cabin was great, had necessary amenities. Definitely spent a great weekend here. Family and I came to visit Niagara Falls/Buffalo and eat buffalo wings of course. Heading back to the cabin after a well spent day was wonderful to unwind and relax.

Log cabin stay

Nice quiet setting. We came to fish Lake Ontario and the location was great with multiple launches nearby. Being a log home the floors were pretty squeaky, if you are a light sleeper bring a sound machine. Our host Was awesome.

Very nice location

We enjoyed watching the sky divers right next door. They seemed to be having a great time. The house was nice too. The house was exactly as advertised.

Great location!

We were planning a road trip to see Niagara Falls, but wanted to stay a little off the beaten path. This house was perfect for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet area. The owner was very quick to answer questions about our stay. Highly recommend!

Drop in is a great Log Cabin home

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Niagara Falls, Lewiston and surrounding area. The home is clean and confortable and comes with it's own entertainment of skydivers. My kids had a blast watching the plane takeoff, the divers jump out of the plane and how skilled they were at steering their chutes back to the landing strip. Would recommend to any family looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting the area.

Fun location for a family vacation

We didn't realize the house was located on the property of a skydiving outfit's airstrip, but it worked out to be a fun perk! Our kids were excited by the planes and jumpers, and the noise and traffic were not a problem. The house is good sized and well kept. We were able to make easy and scenic outings to Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, and an easy border crossing into Ontario. Would recommend for anyone visiting the region who wants to stay out of town!

Relaxing place

The house ia very good. However it needs maintenance and cleaning. The bedrooms are larger than the pictures. We had a great relaxing weekend as a family. Everything in the house works properly. But it needs some deep cleaning. The house is in a skydiving place. So the kids LOVE to watch the airplane and people skydiving. That was definitely very fun. Communication was not the best. Host is very nice but took long time to answer.

Short stay

The shower upstairs is the only shower and it leaks since it was patched with tape. The wifi doesn’t work in the house at all. There are stains in the carpet, and you can hear everything, every step someone makes upstairs and every conversation downstairs. Other than those issues it was a place to sleep when we were done with family activities.

Not what it seems

The cabin is not clean, it is dirty throughout. The host just responded when it was time to check out. Not enough towel and the basement where the washer and dryer where was filled with trash. The room closet was also never cleaned out from the previous guest.

Disappointed

When we got to the house, the house didn’t look as the pictures on the app. The house wasn’t really clean, the lighting wasn’t good in the house, the kitchen mini oven had bread crumbs (it wasn’t clean), the outside of the house had bird nests and wasn’t clean either.

Not clean dead bugs everywhere

The house was not clean stained carpet dead bugs throughout the house. There was live insects asain lady bugs and flys upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. The shower leaks into the downstairs bedroom we talked to the owner and he said if we can find a better cleaner go for it. He offered s full refund if we left but there was no open places that could fit 5 of us the house is out dated fridge was dirty

An Unforgettable Stay at a Beautiful Log Home in Niagara Falls.

Our families had the most wonderful experience staying at this charming log home in Niagara Falls for two nights and three days. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty and welcoming ambiance of the property. The log home itself is stunning, with its rustic architecture seamlessly blending with modern comforts. The spacious and beautifully furnished living areas provided ample space for our two families to relax and enjoy each other's company. The large windows throughout the home offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary coffee and tea. The dining area, with its large wooden table, was perfect for our group dinners and late-night chats. Each bedroom was a cozy retreat, complete with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the adults appreciated the privacy and comfort of the master suites. The bathrooms were spotless and well-appointed with plush towels and toiletries. Overall, our stay at this beautiful log home was nothing short of perfect. It provided us with a cozy, comfortable, and memorable base for our Niagara Falls adventure. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. We can't wait to return!

Nice stay

We had a nice stay at the log cabin, it was clean and cozy with lots of towels and extra blankets. It is a log cabin therefore you can hear everything through the floors into the upstairs bedrooms. It didn't impact our stay but just something you should keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. I was having a hard time with communication through the VRBO app while trying to get in touch with the owner. Once I found his phone number on the listing it was fine and he was quick to get back to me. The wood burning fireplace in the cabin is locked up and cannot be used. This was a bummer for us as we like to have indoor fires. We did enjoy the outdoor fire pit though. Also there is no propane grill. In the amenities it stated BBQ grill and in the pictures there were two pictures of a propane grill. This was a challenge because we bought hamburgers, hotdogs and steaks to grill. There was a small metal park like charcoal grill on the property but we didn't bother with it. Also keep in mind that the property is shared by a skydiving business that the owner of the cabin also owns so the cabin is not completely private. It is a great location, close to restaurants and wineries.

Nice quiet remote location, needs updates

We stayed there Labor Day weekend with our children. It was a big house having lots of bedrooms in which we appreciated. Quiet location too! There is no AC unit in the bottom bedroom. Also the bottom level bathroom doesn’t have a shower in it. You can only shower upstairs. We were all using the same bathroom. The shower upstairs was very disappointing. It had mold along it and duck tape on the floor of the shower. Also, a shower curtain that had its days. That made this home not feel like a vacation - more like staying in a beat up hostile. Also, the check in process was wonky - there is no was email to us, the renters that said here are your instructions to get into the home. 4pm check in had passed and it was around 7:30pm and I had to figure out how to call the property manager to get these instructions. He stated he was waiting for someone to reach out on it to verify that I was coming. I paid for it - I was coming!! Just odd. The place needs better pillows… all are very thing and flat. Lastly, the landlords rules and instructions before departure are very strict. I’ve stayed in lots of vrbo’s and this one tells you to strip all the beds before you leave and says they’ll fine you if you don’t leave by 10:05am. It’s just a bit aggressive IMO.
