Serene 1-bedroom suite on 75 acre horse property

Enjoy nature with gorgeous views in a while staying in a quiet 1 bedroom attached suite. It includes a full kitchen. dining room, one bathroom, 1 king bed plus a queen futon, loveseat sofa bed and a dedicated workspace that is great for remote workers. It has a separate driveway and entrance from the main home. You are NOT sharing a space with your host.

The unit is set on a 75 acre horse property with it's own trail system perfect for easy nature strolls or trail rides. We have up to 20 horses on the property. You might even notice a few outside your front window!

It's set back in the woods about a third of a mile, however it is a convenient location close to Amherst, Hampshire, UMass, Smith and Mt. Holyoke.

Guest access
There is a lovely gazebo and front lawn area with a bistro set and Adirondack chairs to relax in while taking in the sunrise (if you choose) while overlooking the horse pasture in the front yard.

We have a 20 stall horse barn that you're welcome to give yourself a self-guided tour of. Be sure to say hello to my wife if you see her in the barn! She also offers optional horsemanship lessons if you are interested.

Additionally there is a trail system on our property that connects with adjacent trails perfect for exploring.

Other things to note
We offer horsemanship, yoga, meditation and life coaching on the property if you are interested.

My wife and I stayed for 10 nights and used this Idyllic setting as our “home base” for motorcycle riding in the area. Brent and Claire are some of the most friendly hosts we have ever met! I already miss waking up in the morning and observing the horses while drinking my morning coffee. The property is clean and well kept. Everything we needed for a 10 day stay. This will become our “go to” place to stay for future visits to Western Massachusetts!

We had such a wonderful stay at Liberty Woods! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. This was an excellent place to stay. Just as advertised, horses were just off my gazebo/patio every evening. The place was immaculate, well equipped and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great. It was very quiet and private. The hosts were welcoming and accessible but not at all intrusive. Communication was frequent and easy. A bonus is walking trails just off the property. Many thanks for making my stay so pleasant.

Peaceful Stay

Had such a wonderful stay at this space. Brent was very communicative about the check in/check out process which was greatly appreciated. The main living room area is very spacious and the bedroom was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

A wonderful stay!

We booked Brent and Claire’s property for a small getaway for our daughter’s second birthday, and it was perfect! Very spacious, clean, comfy bed, and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen as well as the games in the unit. The horses were a very unique bonus! We definitely recommend this stay!

Magical & peaceful retreat.

Second time staying here. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else. We’re moving to Belchertown soon, and when any family members or friends come to visit, we will suggest they stay here.

A great jumping off point for the Pioneer Valley and 5 colleges. Brent and Claire were wonderful hosts! Nice and quiet on the property, and it’s a neat experience to have the beautiful horses right outside your window.

Restful Stay

Laid-back location, sitting in the gazebo to watch the horses graze was just what we needed to unplug. Hosts Brent and Claire were terrific, friendly with clear communication (check-in, directions, etc) and they put lots of thought into making a welcoming space. Well-appointed, clean and much seemed brand new. Got to meet their wonderful dogs too. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife Claire is a horsemanship trainer, yoga and meditation instructor. I teach yoga, meditation and I am a professional coach.

We met in India in 2018 and dated long distance between Europe and the United States until we married in Salt Lake City in 2020. We bought Liberty Woods in January 2022 and opened our Airbnb in May 2022.

We love hosting people at Liberty Woods because we love shairing our beautiful property with others and meeting new people.
