Come experience what an East Beach Cottage is all about! This 4 bedroom, 4 bath home is located in the desirable East Beach neighborhood... East Beach is convenient to numerous Island shops and restaurants, as well as the Historic Coast Guard Station. It is a great neighborhood that has easy access to the beach. The beach is an easy walk - only .3 miles...

1813 Bruce Drive is nestled amongst wonderful live oaks on an oversized corner lot complete with white picket fence. The fence is 3/4 surrounding the property, so not completely enclosed. Hardwood floors throughout the main living space and marble tile in 2 bathrooms are complimented by bead board ceilings and a tabby fireplace...

It maintains that classic quaint cottage feel however has an updated kitchen to include granite counters and state-of-the-art appliances, expansive laundry room, large screened-in porch right off the kitchen, and a large front porch with Adirondack chairs and swing...

The fourth bedroom and bath is located in the private guest house which is above the garage turned game room, which has a Ping Pong Table, Foosball table and full sized refrigerator. The guest house living quarters (accessible by exterior stairs) features a large den with a sleeper sofa and day bed. It also has its own small refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. There is a bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom attached directly to the bedroom. This space is perfect for the in-laws or another family wanting their own space...

Very charming home, perfect for us 4 couples for a weekend getaway. The screened in room was our favorite although the home had a lot to offer, high end appliances, stocked with more than the essentials, quiet neighborhood, gameroom etc. We had a great time!

East Beach Cottage is the ideal vacation home for several couples or an extended family. The screened porch is a lovely space to enjoy family time when you aren't out enjoying the beach- which is an easy walk. Kevin is an amazing host and we have already booked to return next year!

This was our 2nd time staying here and will book again. The outdoor spaces, large guest house/full garage, stocked kitchen, multiple laundry spaces, and location cannot be beat.

Long Weekend at St Simons

Our stay was terrific. It’s our 2nd time to this location and it was just as advertised. Our stay overlapped the hurricane that luckily went to the south but the owner was very flexible with check in and out to help us avoid the potential storm. Would strongly recommend if your planning a trip to East Beach.

Fantastic family vacation

BEST house on east beach!

This is a lovely beach cottage that is quintessential East beach st. Simons. It was the perfect spot for my family of four (with twin infants) plus grandparents in the garage guest house. Everyone was able to have their own space, with updated bathrooms and a wonderful screened porch. The house had all the essentials, including the kitchen which had more than I expect from a rental. Great side screened porch, and outdoor shower was clutch for post beach rinses. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect family beach trip

We are repeat guests, and our stay gets better each time. We can’t wait for the next visit. We enjoyed the screened in porch and living areas as well as close proximity to the beach. The layout is perfect for our group - 5 adults in the main house and 2 adults and a baby in the guest house.

Beach cottage

This was our second time staying here. We loved it! Kevin was very helpful throughout our visit. There was a new addition of the cutest outside shower that was great for rinsing off after beach! Highly recommend this homey, lovely cottage.

East Beach wedding trip

The house was perfect. It easily accommodated our extended family and the bonus suite over the garage is great as well. East Beach is lovely and the house is only down the street from beach access.

My wife and I and her 3 sisters and their husbands met for a get-together. We were delighted with the accommodations! It is a nice quiet neighborhood, plenty of places to sit and visit, the house is clean and has a very well stocked kitchen for cooking and serving meals. Kenyon K

Family vacation

The Beach Cottage was perfect for our week at the beach. The property was exactly as described and the suite over the garage was a great option. The beach was easy to access. We were especially impressed with the kitchen: plenty of dinnerware and cookware. Kevin was extremely helpful with check-in and answered any questions we had. He responded immediately to resolving an issue that required some maintenance. We highly recommend the cottage for future rentals. It was an excellent choice for our 3 generation family of 7.

Fall Beach Getaway

The property was just as described. It was clean, comfortable, easy walk to beach with a great private yard. The suite above the garage was very nice I would highly recommend for future rentals.

Family beach trip

We loved this property, especially the front porch and the large screened in porch! Our kids had a ball playing foosball in the converted garage. The proximity to the beach, the village, playground, etc. was terrific. However we found that for our family, renting a golf cart was absolutely essential for hauling chairs, kids, etc to the beach.

Lovely well stocked cottage

Online pics don’t show how much room there actually is! We loved the front porch and screened porch off the kitchen. We all played ping pong and other games in the garage and appreciated the extra full size fridge for beverages. The walk to the beach isn’t bad even with the scorching hot temps. Kevin touched base with us upon check-in and when we had any questions he responded right away. Great stay!

Updated interior & great location

My family and I had a relaxing, comfortable stay. The home offers excellent amenities and a location that makes beaching and sight-seeing super easy. Kevin was highly responsive and amenable to requests we made. The apartment above the garage got a little hot, but the AC rebounded quickly with temperature adjustments.

Conference Stay

Beautiful property with just a few small issues involving trouble with the Smart Lock and the front door having issues with opening. An extra set of house keys would be nice also. Otherwise, a great stay!

Ready To Go Back

We have family that lives full time on SSI, and before getting to The Cottage we were fully expecting to just use it as a place to sleep. We were mistaken! We hardly left the area and family decided to visit us instead. The 6th St. beach entrance was perfect to set up "base" for the day without too many people around- even for July 4th! We did rent a Moke to help get kids and beach supplies back and forth easier. Having the garage was great for storage and its second refrigerator and freezer was huge! The house was clean, stocked, and ready upon arrival. We wish there was an outdoor shower but the garden hose worked just fine to clean off sandy legs and kids. Will be back!
