Mariner-Stunning Coast Cottage, - Beach, Elevator

St Simons Rentals is proud to present Mariner Cottage. This lovely cottage is located in the beautiful seaside community of Coast Cottages. The award winning community boasts of two pools and beach access with a boardwalk at a wide section of the St. Simon’s beach. Go for a morning stroll, only a short walk to the beach.

Mariner Cottage, built in 2000, has a unique feature of a stunning living room built in the shape of a lighthouse. A great place to relax with family and friends, this room is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. At night the lighting is spectacular and lends a cozy, comfortable, relaxed feeling to the room.

This three-story home has the living area and kitchen on the top floor. Enjoy the front and back porches with one of St. Simon’s beautiful live oaks just off the front porch and a lovely view of Coast Cottage Lane off the back covered porch.
You need not worry about carrying groceries to the top floor. Just hop on the elevator and ride to the top.
The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The first floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. The second floor also has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom with a King size bed is located on the second floor with a private bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is the 4th bedroom that features 2 twin beds and a full bathroom.

Enjoy a bike ride into the village or take a longer trip to the north end of the island to see the beautiful setting of Christ Church amongst the hundred-year-old live oaks. Another St. Simon’s favorite is an early morning bike ride to the beach to see the sunrise. We have bikes available for rent.

Unique Home!

The uniqueness about this property is the living room. With its incredible ceiling detail, and given the shape of the room, you feel as though you're inside of a lighthouse. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do! We had a wonderful time, thank you!!

Enjoyed our stay!

The property made a great place for our family to gather for Christmas. It has great access to the beach, 1/2 mile from some great restaurants/ shops and is not far from the main downtown area. We would like to come back when it gets a little warmer so we can enjoy all that this property and the island has to offer.

We really enjoyed our time. Great location loved the multiple floors that offered space, comfort, and privacy, while also being together with family. Close to public access beach and private beach.

Island paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at St. Simons and your home. It felt like we were in a tree house. Great central location excellent for runs, bike rides and walks. We look forward to a return.

Very Responsive

The whole process from booking to checkout was incredibly smooth. Our hosts were super responsive (even with a random power outage that neither of us had any control over). We had a great stay and we appreciated all the recommendations that were shared with us.

Wonderful!

We are a family of 5 adults and 2 children. This beautifully furnished house has plenty of space for our entire family to spread out. The owners are so nice and always respond immediately to any questions we might have. The beauty of St. Simon's Island and the beauty of the Mariner Cottage make this a perfect vacation place for us.

Excellent stay at the mariner cottage

We came down in the off-season to attend the gator bowl in Jacksonville. Communication with Harold was very easy and the house was as described and very nice. The top floor with the wall of windows was beautiful with awesome views of the trees and marsh. We also enjoyed some outside time on the porches. The house was well equipped with all of the necessities. The elevator came in handy as it is multiple flights to get to the top floor. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

Very nice house. Lower bathroom has minimal water pressure so shower was very slow. Generally a fine property that is looking a little tired. Could use a refresh.

Wonderful even in a pandemic!

We have stayed in the SSI area many times over the last 20 years. This rental offered us many luxuries that other homes have not. We so appreciated the beach chairs, carts, and bikes that were clean and ready to go! The kitchen was stocked with many items that you will need but don't necessarily want to buy because you only need a few for the week (think sugar, coffee filters, spices, pancake syrup). The best part however was the hospitality of the owner who was extremely quick with replies to questions before and during our visit! The house is at it looks - warm, and comfy, and the size was perfect for our family of 6 adults and one child. It was clean and the extra parking spaces were ideal! We will definitely be back!

Perfect layout great location

Really love this vacation home, place is as nice as the photos. Layout perfect for our group, son 26 and daughter 22 had their own rooms with a bathroom to share on bottom level, my husband and I with the master suite on the next level with our 16 year only and her friend with twin beds and a bathroom of their own on our floor. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was beautiful. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck outside the kitchen. The separation of the bedrooms and living space was nice to let everyone sleep in. Close to a great spot to put Kayaks in near the marsh. Small walk to the beach but we rented golf carts and there is parking for them (but not cars) near the pool/beach. Town was friendly and local restaurants really good. Played golf in Brunswick county, very nice course only a short drive but adorable. Home owners provided plenty of beach chairs and toys which was a nice bonus. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

Beautiful home

Only there for five days but was. Great location and the elevator was a huge bonus for my father who has knee trouble. My daughter enjoyed her bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beach is such a close walk and the pool was warm even when it was cold out so the kids could swim!

Great holiday vacation

We are a family of 7 and everyone had a fabulous time. All accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The house was unique and interesting. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

Fabulous home!

Great house - great location

Great house and great location close to beach and pool! The house was perfect for our mixed aged crew. The older folks definitely appreciated the elevator and everyone appreciated the location! Owners were very helpful and responsive!
