There are only two positives about this VRBO, the location is amazing and the size is decent. Other than that, this place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing! The bunk bed is flimsy, there was cardboard used to “fix” a broken blind in the king bedroom, but the worst thing was the washing machine. It was full of mold and smelled horrible. We couldn’t use it. Also, be sure to bring ant spray. The cleaning fee needs to be used to actually clean the place. As a fellow VRBO owner, this place was disappointing.

Nice older home near beach access, but needs some TLC

Nice property, good proximity to beach. Clean, with plenty of amenities. It is an older home, however, and it needs a bit of TLC. Window Blinds were broken in a couple places, finish on benches in dining area coming off, shower curtain in main bath needs cleaning, etc. backyard needs some upkeep. Also, one bedroom is very small. Holds the twin bed. Has an en-suite, however the room itself is very small. It is just a bit bigger than the twin bed itself. It’s a great little room, but just don’t expect a lot of space in that “4th bedroom”. Overall, great stay. We enjoyed our time on the island. We just want guests to be prepared that it is a little more of an older home and could use a bit of upkeep.

Weekend Getaway

Check in process was great. Some of the photos of the property are not accurate. We contacted the property manager regarding house cleaning issues that needed to be resolved before we could stay overnight in the house. Communication with host was great.

Cute Cottage great location

We loved the property- 4 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for four friends to get together. I recommend bringing your own towels - the ones at the property must be from the 1990's just old and frayed and scratchy. The pillows are very thin, there are only 4 glasses and maybe 6 mugs- so if you have more people- (the place can potentially sleep 8)- be sure to bring some as there would not be not enough. Otherwise the kitchen has enough pots/pans plates and silverware.

Great Location!

Firstly, the host was easy to reach and quick to respond. Everything was clean and orderly when we got there and if we had questions for anything throughout the trip, we felt comfortable enough to message and get a timely and accurate response. The location is great because it is a 5 minute walk to the beach and it is near the lighthouse and also a 10 minute drive to the pier/boardwalk for Tybee Island. The whole stay made us excited for our next trip here!

Great awesome dog friendly place

Great communication w/owner, able to get in home early, my son was able to drop luggage & get dogs situated. We had to get to GA Southern for daughters Graduation. 2 night stay. We all arrived at 8p it was dark. The entire neighborhoods no street light or house lights. The road signs are also faded. The street the home is on is very narrow especially for 2 full size suburbans. Beds are very hard, uncomfortable, electrical needs worked on. Outlets hanging out of walls, fans/lights in bathrooms not working. House keepers need to be replaced…. All fans were grossly covered w/stuff, blanket in main bedroom gross needed washing, soap dispenser’s left empty. Shower curtains in main mold& gross. Dryer kept shutting off wouldn’t compete a cycle. (All updated to owner). Owner seems to be working on the place which is nice. Think he 1st need to start w/deep cleaning and quality cleaning Co. Great location,near beach. 1st time visiting Tybee hopefully return for longer stay.

Tons of Potential

This house has the potential to be fantastic. The overall location is fantastic and is within walking or short driving distance to the beach and a few local eateries. My only issue was neighbors that checked in after we did that had two dogs which barked all night long the last night we were there. The house has had a lot of updates and was cute but the shower had mold in it. I like to keep houses as tidy as possible when I'm staying somewhere and that was difficult here after going outside due to a tree which had small black balls which were easily tracked, although just a pet peeve of mine and nothing against the house itself.

Quiet Relaxing Location

Had a wonderful time at this location Easy and close to the beach and lighthouse Plenty of sleeping space and quick drive to Savannah Host was easy to get in contact and very receptive and responsive. Would most certainly go back.
