Our family stay at Tranquil Harbor was low key and relaxing. The home is in excellent condition and in a great location (abt 1/2 mile from beach); it’s beautifully decorated and very clean, the facilities work great and are stocked with bath essentials. I highly recommend Dorothea as a hostess - she is a gem - made us feel welcomed and like we were old friends. Our family would love to visit this home again!

Beautiful beach house that felt so nice and homey! Very kid friendly with extra locks on the doors, high chair etc. took us about 7 mins to walk to the beach with three toddlers. We would absolutely stay here again! Dorothea was wonderful

We had a fabulous stay at the Dogwood Cottage. Dorothea was a wonderful host with great communication. The house was incredibly clean and well appointed. Location was great with easy access to the beach. We absolutely loved our trip and plan to return in the future!

Beautiful very clean home with everything we needed for a week's stay. The beach was close-- an easy 8 minute walk, less than 5 minute bike ride, but do have to cross busy road. Every room has balcony, which was cool. House very bright and sunny. Having access to free bikes was really nice. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, and host was very quick to respond! A few bikes listed in house description didn’t work, but when Dorothea was notified someone dropped off a brand new bike the next day. Quick walk to the beach which we were able to do with two young kids in a wagon. The beach access wasn’t crowded, being a little further from the main drag. It was a very lovely stay!

Highly Recommended

This is the best VRBO we have stayed at. The property manager went above and beyond and there was everything we could have needed and wanted in a place to stay. Kids toys and space, a beautiful layed out and decorated house, and plenty of fun options within walking distance.

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous house! Everything was so clean and comfortable. So many little touches to make you feel at home. We loved sitting out on the porch enjoying the nice sea breeze. The living room was comfortable and spacious to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen is well appointed and has what you need to cook. It is a very easy walk to the beach and a great location near grocery stores and restaurants. Dorthea is an incredible host and goes above and beyond to make your stay the amazing. We highly recommend this house!

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for!

The host is awesome and does everything she can to make your stay amazing. The home is beautiful and offers all the amenities you could need! Beautiful, stocked coffee bar area. Lovely location. Clean home. Great water pressure. We will definitely be back!

This house was everything we imagined. The host, Dorthea, provided everything you could imagine for a fun stay on the coast. She responded quickly to every question we had. We would stay at one of her properties again without question.
