It was a nice property, that was clean, comfortable, and had a homey feeling. I would recommend that everyone stay here.

Easy access to beach

If our dogs weren’t with us it may have been much more enjoyable. Unfortunately they are too used to being home and are too excitable when traveling.

It was fine

Its was good not as close to main restaurants and shops as I thought it was almost a mile. Requested bikes not delivered. Bed needs flipping had to sleep upside down as the head was sinking and the AC light was bright enough to light up the whole room. But it was close to beach access and a bar and one restaurant were close.

Turtle Shell Key West #6

The property is lovely and quiet. I chose this property because it was ground level and pet friendly because I had my dog with me. The room was clean and looked just like the photos and I did enjoy my stay. I have given an overall rating of okay for a couple reasons. The shower is large and beautiful but the glass door is very narrow and I had to turn sideways to get in and out. The mattress is very soft and I had to struggle to get out of the bed. There is not a table or a chair to sit in if you wish to eat in the unit. The only seating inside is the soft bed or a small bench/ stool. The deck has chairs but only a short coffee table between them. It would be a nice option to have a bistro table and a couple small chairs just inside to the left of the door along the front wall. I did contact someone because I was having difficulty figuring out the TV operation and how to find a working app. Maybe a paper with instructions could be put together for future guests.

Turtle Cove Review

Our only trouble was with the A/C unit. Apparently a storm prior to our visit had blown out the control panel, so we spent our first night without A/C. Once we let Turtle Cove know they contacted their techician and found the problem. We did have to request another solution to the A/C but they promptly provided one once they knew our needs (as they did with an ironing board and iron, as well). The unit is beautifully decorated, but the bed is noisy with the plastic mattress cover. The shower room is also beautiful, but the shower door is narrow to get into the shower. It would have been nicer had there been provided a chair with a back in the room as there is only a stool (no back) provided. We brought the patio chair into the room to use in this way. Overall the room met our needs and we were happy with the staff's prompt response to the lack of A/C dilemma.
