Hermoso, relajante escapada a la playa con espacio para toda la familia en 3 niveles. 3 dormitorios 3. 5 baños casa de pueblo en comunidad con piscina y acceso a la playa privada. Gran parque de la ciudad con parque infantil justo al lado. Vistas al océano desde todas las cubiertas en 2 niveles. 2 salas de estar independientes y cocina totalmente equipada. Wifi gratuito, televisión por cable. Muy tranquilo, pero cerca de restaurantes y tiendas, así como el muelle de pesca.

El nivel de entrada, se encuentra la primera sala de estar con TV y una variedad de juegos y rompecabezas. Hay 2 dormitorios cada uno con baño privado en este nivel. La primera tiene una cama de matrimonio y el segundo tiene 2 gemelos. No hay acceso al primer balcón de la sala de estar. En el camino hacia el segundo nivel, se pasa a la sala de lavandería con lavadora y secadora.

En el siguiente nivel se encuentra la sala de estar principal con el plan de piso abierto para la cocina, comedor y sala de estar. Este salón tiene TV con DVD y Wii. También hay una pequeña biblioteca de préstamo disponible si usted acaba su libro mientras aquí. El dormitorio principal está fuera de la cocina con una cama de matrimonio y baño privado. Hay un balcón con 4 sillas y una mesa de la sala de estar, así.

El loft tiene unas vistas preciosas a la zona de estar por debajo y también vistas al mar desde la ventana. Cuenta con una cama doble y un sofá cama para el espacio adicional de sueño. En el camino a la buhardilla, se pasa a la medio baño.

We had a great stay! The condo was great and provided privacy when needed with 3 levels. Only w things to be aware of. The steps for anyone with issue climbing steps and parking. We came from 4 different corners of Va so parking gets tricky after 3rd vehicle. Otherwise, would recommend highly!

We had a great time staying at the Heart of Surf City! My family came with our two small kiddos (5 & 2.5) and it was the perfect location. Beach, pool, and playground were all super close and we didn’t need a lot else to fill our days! The house was great, well furnished, linens were great, and the kitchen was well-stocked with things we needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was easy to communicate with the host if we had questions or needed help with anything. The Trailer Bar only had weekend live music but it wasn’t a problem because we were able to drown it out with a sound machine. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Beach Vacation

This VRBO rental is at a great location. A few short feet to the beach & pool. It was great to have onsite parking and the house had a terrific beach-y vibe and was well stocked for the times we needed. Very convenient to all the Surf City restaurants. Check in/out was easy, the owners were quickly responsive to all the questions we had as we prepared & packed for the trip. There is a small food mart across the street for ice or any forgotten items and we had a great time listening to live music at the Trailer Bar across the street. They didn't play past 10pm. It was a great vacation.

Nice holiday getaway...

But the property could have been better maintained. Having 3 floors was convenient since i have 2 teens and each of them can have their own room. What did not work for me was the kitchen. It was small and the kitchenware was not organized or well maintained. I understand staying on the beach can cause corrosiveness/rust on the utensils, this is when these items should be switched to silicone when appropriate. The kitchen drawers were not organized and it made things look messy. There were gnats inside the fridge and in the master bathroom. Then on our last night of our stay, two roaches appeared in the kitchen. The one thing my kids complained about is the small TV in the living room, which was not conducive to playing the switch with others.

Very Roomy

Lots of bedrooms and space for everyone. Three full bathrooms in each bedroom was a plus. Convenient to beach. Great communication with renters/owners.

Convenient with lots of sleeping space.

Property was nice with easy access to the beach. Lots of sleeping space and the kids enjoyed the games on the 1st floor. Kitchen was sufficient for cooking, but a vegetable peeler, scissors that actually cut and a blender would be a nice addition to the kitchen.

Great Place to Stay

Host was a very responsive host when I had questions. Nice place to stay, an easy walk to the beach, and then I was able to relax in the pool. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And for those who talked about the music across the street they stopped at 1000 and it was only one night. Thanks for the nice stay!

Family Reunion

Beach House was true to listing, but we had some issues, Door was very hard to lock, cleaning crew needs help, master bedroom mattress was stained and had grass all over it, we had to vacuum it, hair dryer didn't work, the lint filter in dryer was full of dog hair, But we did enjoy our stay.

Loved it!

This house is perfect for a nice trip away to the beach. It is in a great location, easy access to the beach, easy walk to food and perfect if your interested in some entertainment. The host was also fantastic to work with. I will definitely stay here again!

Topsail Sisters’ Trip 2023

Nice location on the island & if we’d had children with us, the park next door would’ve been ideal. We were actually looking for something closer/walkable to SC circle/restaurants/shops but bc it was Sept, island traffic wasn’t an issue. BTW, We loved the Trailer Bar!❤️ However, kitchen cleanliness was an issue for us. Random sticky items in drawers, food left in fridge, pots/pans “piled” in cabinet. Bedroom closets had random items on the shelves/floors. Showerheads & shower rods should be cleaned/replaced. Bed pillows (dirty & possible bloodstains?) should be checked/replaced. If dirty, a zippered cover would be all that’s needed but bloodstained should be replaced. (Thankfully we had brought our own pillows & linens) Mold by entry door was very concerning & lights/bulbs should be checked for working order. Beach items were in an huge jumbled, random pile in the closet. Outdoor shower head was wrapped (in a fabric bag?) so we didn’t use it! We loved the easy public beach access! Also the pool/pool area was very clean/well kept with many clean chairs/chaises & it’s an awesome plus for this property. Overall a nice experience for our sisters’ trip, but I gave it only 4 stars bc we were disappointed with the above mentioned cleanliness. I would totally rent this property again if these issues were addressed.

Expected A Lot More...

The property photos are great but once inside, the furniture is worn/torn, kitchen was not well stocked and is just dated. As for the location, my stay was only for 4 Days and I had to listen to extremely loud music until 11pm from the "Trailer Bar" across the street. I've been vacationing in Topsail for 40 years and can assure you there are much better rental options out there.

Review

Overall, everything was fine. However, the home needed a lot of cleaning. The dust on the ceiling fans and bathroom fans was very thick. Lightbulbs were burned out over the dining room table. I did love the floor plan, ease of renting and checking in and out, and the location. We had a great family trip. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet, but overall, again, we really enjoyed our stay.

Easy walk to beach, comfy townhouse

We relished the quick and easy walk to the beach and enjoyed the shared pool for a relaxed water alternative. We appreciated the outdoor shower and hose access to minimize bringing sand into the home. The open shared space was enjoyable to share with friends.

Close to the beach but noisy

The house was nice, lots of rooms and well stocked. It looks like it has been partially rennovated, new floors, beds and paint. There were lots of sleeping spaces and bathrooms, but unfortunately the house can only seat 6 comfortably in main living space even in dining room so we had to eat in shifts.We bought some beanbag chairs to sit together and play a game or watch a movie. Also had to buy a firestick as it did not have one. Now the important thing, the location! It is located close to the beach which was very convienent. Be aware there is no beach "view" unless you stand up and look over the side. Otherwise when you are sitting you are looking at the side of a house or the road. The road gets noisy with young people racing up and down at night Also right across the street is a bar and a club. The noise on friday and saturday nights was very bad. After 2 am when the club closes people hang around until 3 am talking and laughing, sounds like they are right outside your bedroom. We knew about the trailer bar but were unaware of the Tortuga night club. There is a sound machine app we discovered on our phones which helpedbut our first Saturday night we got no sleep. Very unfortunate the town would zone bars that close to residential living. We made the best of it and all in all we had a great time on the beach and having a pool was nice too. The host was great and responded quickly to any issues we had.

So relaxing and true to advertisement!

Stayed here Monday-Friday with my mom, her friend my 2 sisters, cousin & her 11 month old. getting ahold of the host was super easy and they replied back super fast. The house was clean, just make sure to bring your own linens ( pillow cases, blankets ) & also bring your own toilet paper but those are things that are told when you book but overall we had the best trip! The beach & pool is not even a minute walk and not crowded! We would deff stay here again!

Awesome communication

The host is a really great communicator- from swapping dates to a small maintenance issue- the host responded immediately and took care of what was needed very quickly. The condo was in good condition and perfect for the weekend. Very quick walk to the beach. The condo is very close to a popular bar and it was a little louder than we anticipated. It didn’t effect our trip but I’d bring sound machines for the kids in the future. Great weekend spot!

Surf City is the perfect beach. It has it all without being commercialized. We love the small town feel and being able to walk the beach without fighting crowds. This town house is so perfect for our family with the beach, the pool and the playground right next door. It is so much fun while being perfectly relaxing at the same time.
