Lakefront 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom house in Decatur on popular all-sport Lake of the Woods. Perfect for 1 or 2 families who want to get away and enjoy lake life.
This home is located on a quiet cove with lake views and direct access to the water. There is a large yard on the lakefront with a fire pit, great for toasting marshmallows. A private dock provides access for fishing and boating. Kayaks are provided for your use, or you can bring your own boat and take full advantage of the 289 acre all-sport lake. The public boat launch is conveniently located just down the street, and there is ample room in the driveway to leave your trailer during your stay.
Inside, the house has been recently updated and provides 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom. The large bunkroom is perfect for kids, giving them their own space to play or watch movies when they need a break from the sun and outdoor activities. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a desk with monitors and a USB-C docking station. The rest of the house has an open layout with a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area that opens into a spacious family room with views of the yard and lake.
*Dock, kayaks, and grill are available Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

We purchased this cottage to spend more time near family. Now with the ability to work from home, we enjoy spending as much time as we can in the area relaxing, playing, working, visiting, and just enjoying the small town lifestyle. Wanting to share this experience with others, opening our home away from home to guests by hosting was a perfect fit.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Our cottage is located on a no wake cove. This provides a space that is more private and quieter than the busy parts of the lake where we feel comfortable letting our kids kayak in front of the house without worrying about high speed boats. It is also only about 500 feet to get past the buoys to the all-sport portion of the lake where a wide range of water sports can be enjoyed.

Since we personally stay at the cottage on a regular basis we are consistently making small updates to make it more accommodating for ourselves and our guests. We strive to make our guest feel at home so they are able to relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
