Esta casa decorada profesionalmente está ubicada entre Orlando, Daytona Beach y St. Agustín. Lake House Blue está al final de un muelle que se extiende a más de 250 pies de la tierra para lo último en privacidad. Esta hermosa casa cuenta con comodidades de lujo en el interior (granito y acero inoxidable) con terrazas al aire libre en toda la casa. Hay dos porches con mecedoras y una hamaca. We have stayed here several times as it is such an amazing experience! You are surrounded by water and can fish anytime by just walking out the front door or around the outside of the house . The home is beautiful and clean. You are close to everything. The owners are so kind and helpful. We will definitely continue to vacation here.

The home itself, I can imagine living there forever but, I would have the whole thing screened in from the dock so I could enjoy all the outside has to offer. . I feel like our time here could’ve been much better spent (a lot more outside time)had that been the case. There is beautiful scenery 360 degrees and it is my absolute dream home.. showers, bed & coziness are amazing. If I could access this property at any time and not have to deal with all bugs this could be my forever home. I can’t stress this enough if you’re gonna be walking around out here outside, you need to have full body gear on to protect yourself from all the flying bugs and spiders or don’t dare go outside after dark as my hubby called it “nightmare fuel “

Thank you for a great review. I am so very sorry for the BLIND Mosquitoes that showed up during your stay. They are migratory and are in the same category as the Love Bugs that are in other areas of our state. They don't live more than about three days because they don't have a mouth. We haven't seen them in almost three years, and if they are going to show up it usually is at the end of summer. They are a pest for sure, but thank goodness they don't bite...

Such a vey unique and interesting vacation home. We were pleasantly surprised with the great water pressure, great A/C and all the comforts we thought might be less due to the house being on a dock. The owner suite bed and linens were excellent and comfortable. My adult grandson found the twins bedroom very comfortable and they had the same linens. Plenty of towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The decor was so cool like a mini-museum. Plenty of games and reading material. Our fishing efforts did not pay off but we enjoyed the sunrises, the beautiful birds, gator eyes at night, and the local restaurants. Dean truly thought of everything!

Perfect getaway! This was such a unique rental surrounded by beautiful lake views. So peaceful and relaxing!! Very clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you can think of and more. Excellent communication with the host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay! Highly recommend and cant wait to return!

Quiet Relaxing Fishing Fun

Great quiet location. House is stocked, owner is helpful and the fishing right off the dock was great! We needed a quiet relaxing vacation and this was perfect.

Another wonderful, relaxing visit

Our family has used this lake house as our get away from it all escape from reality. We have been pressured for many years to rent this property so everyone can get to enjoy one of Florida's most hidden and unusual secrets. Henry David Thoreau said ' A lake is a landscape's most beautiful and expressive features' A lake with a house in the middle of it is nature as it's best. We are very sorry we can't share our Lake House Blue with Mr. Thoreau, but we are sure he would love it....

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We bought this lake house because we wanted to get back to the old Florida of days gone by. This area has changed very little compare to other parts of Florida. Just 25 miles North in Palatka was as far south people came around the turn of the 20th century. The great people of that era names like President Grant, Mrs. Lincoln, wanted to see the wild Florida and all it's natural wonders. Palatka had as many 100 Paddle Wheel boats tied up at the city docks. Years later Babe Ruth came a couple of years and taught a base ball school. Highway 17 is the original highway to Florida as well as US1 on the East coast. These are the things that I saw when my parents brought me thru this area in the 1950's. It made a lasting impression on me and I get to enjoy this area today just like I was a kid again...
