Large 3 bedroom, 3 bath lake front home on Little Lake Kerr, private dock for fishing and docking your boat, wrap around porch for the perfect lake view! 5 mins from Salt Spring Rec Center & Marina. 15 mins from Silver Glen Springs.

Big Lake Kerr is known for being a premier springfed lake with clear water for swimming, fishing, skiing, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailboating and all other water activities.

Large Master with King Bed on Top Floor, private en suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Guest Bedroom with Queen bed and private en suite.
Guest Bedroom with Bunk Bed with twin mattress on top and full on the bottom, separate full bathroom across the hall.

Large Spacious kitchen and dining room. Large living room with floor to ceiling windows for the perfect lake view. Beautiful dock on Little Lake Kerr for the perfect fishing spot and view of the sunset. End your evenings making dinner using the charcoal grill on our wrap around balcony with the perfect view of the lake. Home also comes with use of 2 standup paddleboards and a 2 person kayak.

DISCLAIMER - Handrails on the interior staircase up to the Master bedroom have cable components which make it climbable and a potential fall hazard. We recommend that children are not allowed upstairs without supervision.
There are exterior security cameras at the each entrance to the house and in the carport.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house on Lake Kerr! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. The lake itself is absolutely beautiful – calm, clear, and perfect for swimming, kayaking, and just soaking in the peaceful views.It was the ideal spot for our family to unwind and reconnect. The kids loved the water activities and the open outdoor space, while the adults appreciated the quiet, the nature, and the cozy evenings on the porch. It truly felt like a hidden gem tucked away in Ocala’s beautiful countryside.Highly recommend this spot for any families looking to escape the hustle and enjoy quality time together. We’ll definitely be back!

Great house

The house was clean and the area was quiet. The kids had a blast fishing for bass off the dock. I’d recommend throwing top water as there are a lot of lilly pads. The owners are easy to communicate with and the location was within 30 min of anything you want to do.

Second Visit

This was our second time staying at the lake house. We had a great time unplugging and spending time here together. I love how much our kids love coming here. it's a beautiful home in a beautiful, secluded area. We are so thankful we could enjoy the home for a few days. Jodie was very responsive and kind. We are looking forward to our third time at the lake house.

Lakefront escape

Exceeded our expectations

We were really excited about our weekend away and arriving here we were not disappointed. The online photos do not do this home or property justice. It's a beautiful house and the views of the lake are awesome. I was wondering how my four kids would do and if they would get bored. I was pleasantly surprised that they not only loved it as much as my wife and I did, but they were sad to go and kept asking when we could come back. We already have our weekend reserved and booked for next year. We are all looking forward to returning and enjoying this property again. Thank you for sharing your peaceful lake house with us.

Fishing trip

Nice house plenty of space. Quiet area with decent outside area. Fire pit area needs some attention: grass cut, chairs wiped down but its alright.

Great vrbo, Beautiful Sunsetsl and House

We recently stayed at this property and had a great time. The property is very clean and furnished well. The kitchen is spacious and there were plenty of condiments in the refrigerator. The house is on Lake Kerr and we saw the most incredible sunsets. We also saw peacocks, an alligator and lots of huge birds. On one side of the property there was a swampy area which is beautiful and attracted herons and other large birds looking for food. We enjoyed watching all the wild life. The house has a private dock and a bench for sitting. The views from inside the house were magnificent from just about any window. There wasn't much not to like. If you have bad knees and can't climb stairs then this might not be the best house for you. There are a flight of stairs to climb to get inside the house. We didn't have a problem with the stairs but if you have a medical condition then find something on ground level. The only other negative is that the lake is not fishable from this dock. There are too many lily pads. I was quite disappointed by this. We did find the boat ramp at Lake Kerr to fish from but I was hoping to roll out of bed to fish. I didn't ask about this and assumed so I don't fault the host in any way. I would happily stay here again.

Great getaway

Very relaxing and so very clean and well kept. Jodi was very easy to keep in touch with and quickly replied to any needs . Even with a rainy day while there it was cozy and perfect family time . Would stay again for sure !!

Incredible

There’s so much. The house was absolutely stunning had everything we needed and more. The lake was beautiful kayaks provided! The beautiful sunrise and sunset was my fav times! So much for the family! All the neighbors were very welcoming to us and our children. The area is beautiful there is so much to do gorgeous springs close by lots of trails for ATV or hiking! Just an hour away from Daytona Orlando or ST Augustine which we visited! They have really cool alligator farms where you can feed them! Great beach days! Tons of wildlife close by! The host was generous with printed lists of everything available along with instructions for the house! She was quick with communicating! It was honestly my favorite trip so far we go to FL twice a year and I can whole heartedly we will be back this will be a regular visit as long as we are able!

Loved the house….

The house was amazing and the views were even better. The only thing I would do different staying in the house again would be bring a fan for the master bedroom since it can get hot up there and bring a mattress topper since the mattress is harder than we like. But that wouldn’t stop me from renting the house again.

Enjoyed mini vacation

My family loves to fish so this was a good spot; we caught some bass and brim right off the dock. Went a mile down the road to Salt Springs marina and launched our boat; did some swimming at the springs and some fishing down the run. The home was clean, had good accommodations and a beautiful view of the lake. The host was great. Will book again.

A nice clean property, not far from the lake with the boat dock.The lake was good for fishing but not a good place to swim, a lot of lillies and vegetation... need better directions to find house GPS gets confused

Perfect getaway

The home was very nice and well maintained. It also had a beautiful view of the lake from the porch and dock. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and close to some of Florida’s best springs for swimming and recreation.

Family Getaway

We loved our time on Lake Kerr. The house was perfect for all our needs. We enjoyed the dock, paddle boards and kayak. The layout of the house was perfect for our family if 5. Wished the fire pit was closer to the dock. The neighbors were welcoming. Wasn't able to enjoy that patio it was covered in pollen upon arrival. It was the perfect location to ride the 4 wheelers & side by side we brought with us. Super close to Salt Springs. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thanks Jodie.

Beautiful View

I booked this house for myself & out of State family for my son's wedding at Doe Lake. While it was tough to find the first time due to losing cell service (definitely off the beaten path), the home & view were beautiful. I've already decided to return when I have more time to play on the water, explore the forest, & rest. Check in & check out were simple & the host promptly responded to my messages. No problems to report at all.

Awesome lake get away

We loved our stay for my husband’s 30th birthday. They have a kayak and two paddle boards and it was easy access to the lake. The house was clean and came with a lot of plates, cups and mugs. Just a suggestion bring condiments if you are making dinner multiple days in a row. Coffee machine works great, the view is beautiful. The master bedroom was amazing with a nice walk in shower and a nice tub for relaxing will definitely be back.
