BEACH BLOCK freshly updated condo steps to the boardwalk, restaurants & shopping

3 bedroom (4 beds plus sleeper sofa) and 2 full bath condo located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach just steps to the beach. Start your day with breakfast from the Greenman, located downstairs, then head less than 200 steps to the beach. Have dinner at any one of the amazing restaurants in town, then take a stroll to Penny Lane right across the street. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washer and dryer located in bathroom. This unit is located on the second floor, guests must be able to walk up stairs. Four Rehoboth Beach Parking Permits for any unmetered spot in town are provided, in addition to one parking spot in lot. Linens are not provided. Guests must purchase $79 Vacation Rental damage insurance policy covering $3000 in accidental damage. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable.
Between May 15th -September 1st 7 night minimum, Saturday-Saturday. Short term stays welcome during shoulder and off season. Monthly and long term rentals available October-May, please inquire for rates and details.
Please report any damages upon arrival. If damages are not reported, they will be considered self-inflicted. You agree to leave the vacation rental in arrival condition. Basic check out procedure includes tenant cleaning/returning dishes, removing food from refrigerator, returning pillows and blankets in place and removing trash to deposit in outside receptacle.
Owners are not responsible for injury, loss, theft and damage to your belongings, or self while at the rental. The property owner will be held harmless of any injury while staying at the property.

The place was in a fantastic location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Ot was clean and orderly. There were 2 down sides. First, the parking was tight, if you went during the summer season it might be very difficult. Second, the lighting in the place was poor, not enough lamps and many wereinadequate.

Awesome location. Responsive host. It’s time to replace the couch. The dryer has a rough spot that resulted in holes in 4 shirts and a pair of shorts.

This was a great place! Very close to the sand! It was plenty of space for my family. Could use a new couch- it was uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room in the kitchen. Thankful for extra parking passes!

The location was FABULOUS- didn’t like the fact I had to bring linens for all the beds. Wasn’t mentioned until I “got my key” the week of departure.

Great Location!

We had a great experience with this stay! Location was excellent with easy access to everything - restauraunts, shopping, the beach and boardwalk all right out the door. It made the stay and getting around very enjoyable and easy. The arrangement of the beds and rooms worked great for us and having two bathrooms was really helpful with our larger family.

Great vacation

Place is excellent location. Clean beach house. Easily accessible. Parking is for one vehicle. I would definitely would not recommend you bring a full size truck. They do supply some parking permits but you will walk a little. -unload first. Could use better lighting. Especially downstairs bedroom and living room. Downstairs shower fantastic. And roomy. Owner was easily accessible, friendly and responsive. It would have a five but has long stairs for bringing things up, front outer door sticks. -hard to open and close, lighting Otherwise its fine clean. Kitchen is nicely sticked for utensils, pots, dishes. Has a hose for washing off and trash easily accessible. Has games, books. NO BUGS- THAT WAS GREAT. THE BEACH AND BOARDWALK ARE RIGHT THERE

It is quite old and needs serious updating. Please add smoke alarms. Especially since it sits on top of a commercial kitchen. Unsafe. Would not rent if you are bringing young ones until they address smoke alarms and other detectors as two bedrooms are three levels up from the street. Lots of mice droppings in the kitchen drawers.

Location, location, location

Beach Block is definitely located in the heart of all the activities in Rehoboth Beach. You have the restaurants, shops, and beach seconds away. The condo was clean and welcoming. My grandkids enjoyed the little hidden area. We compensated for the sagging couch cushions by placing some of the throws under the seat cushions fixing the problem. Parking with other cars in the lot is tight. Luckily, we had some really nice co-parking guests. We left our numbers on the dash, so if someone had to leave we could move our car to help make it easier. Granted this time of year parking on the street spots are free. We have young ones that hauling their things was more convenient to park in the pebble lot behind the condo. Bring a noise machine for the rooms. Every morning except for Sunday there were lots and lots of service/trash trucks active at 5am. The trade off for a condo location so close to the action. Our grandkids slept through it all with the white noice machine. No excuse for missing that sunrise since the condo is so close to the boardwalk. We made memories with our family and the condo was a hit with everyone.

perfect location

We stayed for one night so we could enjoy 2 full days at the beach. Great location, super cozy. we were a group of 5 so it worked well for sleeping. Well stocked, would definitely stay there again

Great location, property needs upgrades

Pros: great location - close to everything and Greenman Juice bar had great food and smoothies! AC works awesome, bedrooms have plenty of room and storage, beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you think you might need, pretty manger was responsive and helpful. We had an awesome week! Cons: Sofa needs to be replaced - sags in center so that you are sitting on the wooden/metal structure. We had to put pillows down across the sofa to make it comfortable to sit down. Need at least one more chair in the living room. We brought in a beach chair so we could all sit and watch a movie. Blind pull in master bedroom was broken so the room is very dark and there is only one lamp. Master bedroom side table is too small and outlet near it doesn’t have a faceplate so that was worrisome when plugging something in. Shower curtain is too short. Water sprays all over the floor. Steep metal steps to carry your suitcase up..was okay for us but for anyone older..could be a challenge. Kuerig only worked one day, so we switched to the brewing coffee pot - glad you had both. TV had cable but doesn’t have HDMI capability (It had older AV 9-pin composite video port instead…so we couldn’t hook up the play station we brought to access our own Netflix account, etc). None of these cons ruined our vacation and most can be easily addressed.

Quick beach trip

Location was perfect, property was clean and comfortable, parking behind is a little tight but was doable. Overall 9 out of 10 experience for us. Will for sure book again next year.

Favorite rental yet - best location!

We loved this rental for our family with young kids. This is the first time we could get away with not using a stroller once the whole trip - everything was a 1 minute walk: the beach, the boardwalk, Funland, Rehoboth Ave, Arcade, our favorite brunch spots, the bandstand, and Grotto Pizza. Penny Lane is right across the street - cute shortcut right to the main drag. Our two kiddos normally drag their feet but everything was within a block or two! We loved having two levels in the house, and the best part for the kids - there is an adorable 'secret hideout' play nook filled with toys and tucked away in the upstairs bedroom that was the gem of this rental for our kids. Such a cute surprise that you can't really see in the photos. They loved having downtime at the house and playing there. Also huge bonus is that there are no adjoining units so no noisy neighbors, and the downstairs restaurant has no noise whatsoever that we could hear. On a quiet street. The restaurant next door was also not noisy at all (Mariachi). Very spacious unit. Big, clean bathrooms with large showers. Chelsea was incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of my questions. This is a rare find - don't pass this one up!

Great find

Great location to beach and boardwalk, no outside porch to sit on but definitely plenty of room inside and was clean. Loved that we could keep car parked there the whole time, everything in walking distance or a trolley ride away.
