The house was big and roomy with plenty of space to spread out. Loved that it was so close to the beach with great ocean views and covered parking. The full washer and dryer were really nice as well as the outdoor shower to rinse off before heading inside when you get back from the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were there during a tropical storm and the owner communicated great about power outages and expected times for power to be back on...which was quite quick, by the way. We had a great time.

Great location with a fantastic view, house was very nice and beautifully decorated and updated. We had such a wonderful time and will try to book it again in the future, house was as close to perfect as a rental can be! ***** 5stars for us.

This was definitely a top tier stay! We are already comparing it against our best ever stays and this one is up there for sure. The location is about as good as it gets, just steps to the beach. The view from the deck is spectacular, and the house is spacious. It’s always so nice to have a washer and dryer on the beach, it was really handy. I did notice small things like the toilet paper holder was broken, but nothing that affected the enjoyment of the stay. Overall it was truly excellent and I would 100% stay again.

Beautiful location, beautiful view, plenty of space for our family, but very dirty. We were uncomfortable using spaces and appliances because the home was not clean. Only one bathroom was usable due to a very unclean shower. The kitchen provided plenty of plates, but ran very short on glassware and silverware. The pots and pans were dirty and unusable. The owner was very responsive prior to our stay, but was unreachable when I tried to contact her at the end of our stay to comment on the lack of cleanliness.

Great beach vacation

The property was clean, beautiful and convenient. This was our 3rd stay in Surfside, and the best property so far in terms of space, cleanliness and beach access.

Lovely stay

Very nice house. Clean and close to the beach. Just a private walkover and wah’la you’re on the beach. Comfortable beds too.

Great stay!

This was a cute beach house with nice views of the beach. King bed was comfortable and even though not used, the full sized bottom bunk was a great idea. Communication with the owners was great and they were very responsive. I would definitely stay again!

Amazing Property.. Highly recommend...

The property was well kept and was a few feet from the beach. The owners were great and helped me with all my questions. My family didn’t want to leave, the view was amazing and we had great neighbors. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Great Vacation Spot

Property was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with plenty of everything we needed for cooking. Loved the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach. Area was family friendly. House was close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. Would've liked a TV in the master bedroom.

Memorial Day weekend at this property

We spent 4 days at this property over the Memorial Day weekend last week. The property was clean and comfortable. Great location to the beach and beach access one street over. Fantastic view of the Ocean and the deck was large. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. Thanks for leasing us your property. Thank you.

We arrived and unloaded. The first walk in we noticed the floors were dirty. We cleaned the floors and hand washed the dishes to use. Through the stay we noticed a lot of other cleaning issues, but the owner made it right. The beds were comfortable, but one of the extra beds sinks in the middle. There isn’t an ice maker, but there are 3 ice trays. The house is located 2nd row with very easy access to the beach on a dead end road. There is a nice covered deck to enjoy watching the waves and avoid the sun. There is a BBQ pit to grill with a picnic table under the home with ample space to play games. A shower is under as well to shower the sand off of you before going inside. Some of the furniture pictured is different than what is in it now. There is an octagon shaped window in the living room that doesn’t have a curtain on it, but it didn’t bother us. We had a pleasant stay. The weather was nice, the house served its purpose, and the beach water was refreshing. Thank you to the owner for refunding a portion of the cleaning fee. Bring mosquito spray because it’s Texas and there are mosquitoes.
