¡Vista de un millón de dólares desde un condominio de lujo junto al mar!

Este es un condominio de propiedad privada ubicado en Pacific Shores Nature Resort en Nanoose Bay, a solo unos minutos al sur de Parksville. La unidad es de 1800 pies cuadrados con diseño de planta abierta, muebles cómodos y decorada en colores beige / arena en las áreas de estar / comedor y colores del océano (azules / verdes) en las habitaciones.
Los jardines son exuberantes y bien mantenidos y dan a las aguas cristalinas de Craig Bay. Tenemos las vistas más increíbles de las majestuosas montañas del interior cubiertas de nieve y gloriosas puestas de sol sobre la bahía. Puedes caminar por los jardines de Pacific Shores, o bajar a la playa para escalar rocas y encontrar conchas. Puedes caminar o conducir hasta las arenas doradas de la cercana playa de Rathtrevor, donde la marea baja casi toda la profundidad de la bahía y ofrece un increíble parque de arena para niños y adultos por igual. Cuando caminas por la playa temprano en la mañana, la paz y la tranquilidad experimentadas son refrescantes y rejuvenecedoras. Puedes recolectar conchas, ver medusas, ballenas, focas, águilas calvas, una increíble variedad de vida silvestre. Puede disfrutar de vistas panorámicas del Estrecho de Georgia y ver pasar ocasionalmente los cruceros. Parksville y Qualicum Beach están a poca distancia en coche y ofrecen tiendas, restaurantes, galerías, rutas de senderismo / senderismo, playas, etc. Nuestro condominio está a unos 30 minutos de Cathedral Grove Forest, Little Qualicum Falls y Coombs (¡con las cabras en el techo!). Victoria está a 2 horas en coche hacia el sur. Tofino y Pacific Rim están a 2 horas en auto hacia el oeste.
Hemos tenido este condominio durante aproximadamente diez años porque amamos el área, sus actividades al aire libre como kayak, caminatas por la playa, senderismo y golf (¡hay varios campos de golf cercanos y mini golf para los niños!) pero principalmente por su belleza (que he tratado de capturar en mis fotografías y pinturas exhibidas en nuestra unidad).
Verdaderamente es una experiencia mágica pasar tiempo en esta maravillosa ubicación.

This place is a Gem!

Fantastic home away from home for a multi age family stay. The beach ia super interesting to explore, and just a few min drive is Rathrevor beach which is great for skimboarding or just enjoying the open beach. This place is great for kids and Seniors! Its close to the pool, hot tub, kids playground ,resort restaurant and beach with an easy walk down to the beach. We had a 4 year old and being able to down to the beach easily or sit on the patio made it accessible for everyone. It has the nicest patio/outside dining area of the whole place in my personal opinion! (The sunsets are stunning) The location is secluded but close to town. We went to goats on the roof shop and ice cream, Cathedral grove, mini gold and butterly world (a must with kids). We loved it!

Beautiful home right on the water!

We arrived and were amazed at the size of the condo and the amount of beautiful art done by the wife of the couple who own it. It's a lovely condo, very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The first evening we were there we noticed a tiny bunny in the back yard grass and it stayed there for three days entertaining us. It was the cherry on top of a wonderful vacation!!

Staying at the Ritz

From the photos you can tell it's a wonderful space, but being there exceeds them completely. It's more open and spacious than expected. As well, the non-sleeping spaces are flooded with light from skylights, and it lifts the spirits so wonderfully. The peace and calm were almost palpable; we only wish we had been able to book a longer stay.

A beautiful property in an idyllic location

We loved this property, which is beautifully appointed in an idyllic location. It is on the ocean front and, literally, you can throw a stone into the ocean from the front garden of the property. The owner, who was most helpful, provides a membership to Pacific Shores Resort facilities. The children loved the swimming pools, used paddleboards and kayaks provided by the resort, and tried their hand at pickleball. Highly recommended, especially for families.

Dramatic skies!

Beautiful everchanging views over Craig Bay. Very quiet and nice decor. Comfortable beds and appreciated the blackout curtains. Made great use of the jacuzzi tub, outside hot tubs and exercise facilities. I'll be back!

Autumn Visit

We have stayed at many, many VRBO sites over the years. So far there have been no disappointments. I make my choices based on the reviews left by others. For that reason I am writing this review. The owners are truly great at communication. I am basing this on their response to my questions regarding the unit while I was in the booking phase. I am also basing this on how well they communicated information regarding the unit and the area once we were there. All of it was done in a helpful way. The unit is clean, quiet & comfortable. We felt safe and at ease during our 7 day stay. Yes we would like to return.

Magical island time!

This beautiful property exceeded my expectations in every way ... it is everything it claims to be and so much more! The pictures don’t even begin to capture the coziness of this haven. Well-appointed and well stocked, you can move in with ease. This home gives a whole new meaning to ‘island time’. The bay views are beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. The home is filled with beautiful artwork; many pieces by the owner! Working vacation, as mine was? No problem - good internet and even a printer. The resort offers a huge pool, hot-tubs, kiddie wading pool, and a good restaurant. Numerous beach access points on the property and in the surrounding area are wonderful to explore. An oceanside gazebo with fire tables and sitting areas provides the perfect setting to watch a sunset and is private to the complex. This home is nearby many attractions, but you do need a car. A great jumping off point for cool day trips. I like to ride so brought my bike and found many interesting places to explore. I stayed a month and could happily have stayed longer. The host is responsive at all times and cares for your comfort. A safe, private and quiet home away from home with lots to do and so much to explore. Hosted friends and family (in their own guest suite) and we all agreed that we want to come back to this magical place.

A Perfect Getaway!

From the moment we walked into this home, we KNEW we were going to enjoy our month-long stay here. The view alone is spectacular but there's so much more. Ann and Ken's home is spacious, well appointed with tasteful décor and the kitchen is equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need (even a newly purchased Keurig coffee machine so we could enjoy both decaf and caffeinated coffee!) . Ann's beautiful original artwork hangs throughout, providing a personalized touch. The master king bed is very comfortable as is the living room furniture. Included is a wide variety of television subscriptions so there's lots to choose from for a movie or tv series. The numerous skylights throughout the home offer bright light and the high ceilings made the home even more spacious. The covered patio off the kitchen area is AMAZING with two dining tables and 3 chaise loungers. We enjoyed our morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening drinks there almost daily and loved watching the tide come in and out as well as the Bald Eagles flying by on a regular basis. Sunsets, nearby mountains, sun sparkling on the water and tidal pools made for a relaxing view! This unit is literally steps to the gazebo and fire pits where some of the owners/renters gather for the sunset and it's a lovely place to soak in the full view of Craig Bay. There are smooth paths to the beach and these paths continue in both directions. We explored the entire bay and surrounding neighbourhood on a series of nature walks without getting into our car. The Pacific Shores complex as a whole is well maintained, quiet and centrally located for exploring the region. We took advantage of the detailed suggestions Ann and Ken left for us and completely LOVED our excursions to so may forests, waterfalls, markets, beaches, shops, restaurants and nearby towns. The community pool, hot tubs, gym and ping pong table (and pool table) were an added bonus we enjoyed as much as possible. Our communication with Ann and Ken was clear and prompt and I believe if we had run into issues (which we didn't) they would have been quick to assist. We had no trouble finding their home, getting in and settled and figuring out all the basics for an enjoyable stay. They started us off with an adequate amount of basic supplies including many spices and condiments. We highly recommend their home if you are looking for a peaceful location in the Parksville, Nanoose Bay region.

Relaxing stay in Nanoose Bay

The condo is very spacious and the view from the back patio is awesome, we had some amazing sunsets! The resort is lovely and you have access to all the facilities with the guest pass (incl free paddleboards). There are even gas fire tables in a gazebo next to the shore you can access. There is also a nice path around the resort along the beach you can wander to get closer to the water and explore when the tide is out. The property was very clean and well stocked with supplies and condiments in the kitchen. The natural gas BBQ was nice to have for cooking. The internet worked fine and the TV has regular cable channels as well as several streaming options (with detailed instructions). It was a bonus to have a newer large washer and dryer in the condo when you are staying longer. The directions to the property and instructions for check-in were clear. Communication with the owners was good, we received quick responses during the booking process and during our stay. There was a minor problem with the fireplace starting and it was quickly resolved with the owner. Overall we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Thanks.

I am a grandma, an artist, a hiker and a golfer. My husband and I live in Alberta but visit Vancouver Island as often as we can to escape our harsh climate. Our children and grandchildren share our love of the island and all it offers in terms of its natural beauty and its outdoor activities.

We have always loved the island's lush vegetation, the ocean, the beaches and the golf courses, as well as the mild climate (compared with Alberta). The view from our condo is breathtaking - ocean, mountains and sunsets - that's why we bought a property in this location.

We enjoy easy access to the beach for long walks in the morning when the tide is out and the air is crisp; golf courses close by; quaint towns to explore a short drive away; & the historic city of Nanaimo 20 minutes away with its naval history, its galleries and its shopping. Closer to home, in our resort, we have lovely grounds to walk in with ever-changing colours as the different perennials come into bloom. But the most unique aspect of our property is the stunning display of colours that fill the sky at sunset. This property is located in an artist's and nature-lover's paradise.
