Great stay!

House was very clean and slept all 7 of us comfortably! Pool and firepit were nice to have and enjoy. Would absolutely book this house again if I ever needed. Just be sure to ignore the unkind neighbor signs, they don't reflect on the property at all.

Great summer home

The host is very responsive to questions/messages. The house was better in person than in the photos. The best amenities include the pool and the grill. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area is perfect for lounging/dinner. I’d recommend this listing for a relaxing trip.

A splendid getaway in CT

Loved everything about this impeccably maintained beautiful home! We stayed here with close family and kids and found everything perfectly suitable for our little vacation. The house and rooms are spacious and comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, the patio is welcoming, the game room is a great attraction for kids and the outdoor pool is an absolute gem! Lena is a wonderful host and made sure all our needs were taken care of. We were able to visit Hammonasset Beach and Thimble Islands close to North Branford. Would surely recommend staying here, its a lovely getaway in CT!

Great size and space for family, friends to share time

The house is nice and conveniently laid out with extra loft space serving as kind of 5th bedroom space for kids or for someone to work. Basement is cool and good spot for kids to hang out. Kitchen works well for a group to visit and the deck is great. We didn’t get to go in the pool as we just didn’t have time but my son was ready to jump in. Very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in CT. Lena communicated all the house regulations ahead of time and there were no surprises. We were a group of 10 adults. The house was very clean and well maintained. It felt open and airy. We had all the necessities and Lena was very responsive as soon as there was an issue. The sleeping arrangement was a bit uncomfortable for a group that large since we were not all couples and there weren’t enough private options for the singles in the group. But aside from that, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our annual get together! The neighborhood seems a bit unfriendly to VRBO guests and it felt a bit intimidating at times, but that is not a reflection of the house itself or the host who was welcoming and responsive. The pool was nice and clean and the beach was within a 20 minute drive. There are restaurant options in the area but the kitchen is fully equipped and it was fun to cook together and grill. Great stay. Thank you Lena!

Grad week 3 night stay

It’s a fantastic property and the rooms are clean and well equipped, and the owner was very communicative and thorough. The problem is the house is situated in the neighborhood which has 2 or 4 neighbors displaying giant banners saying “Neighbors not tourists!!” And AIR B AND B signs with large x ‘s through them . We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable comsequently. Unfortunately. Also the pool is a simple Pool thats installed on not built into the garden. As far as proximity to campus, it was great

Wonderful home in North Branford

Our group loved the layout of this property and everything was very clean and tidy. We had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked for us to make our meals! The host is very accommodating and responsive as well! A couple things as a heads up for future bookers: - the room with the single bed and little yellow couch is actually attached to the main bedroom. It’s hard to tell in the listing imo. - the other thing I would be aware of is the neighbors do not want VRBOs in their neighborhood and they make it clear with lawn signs that say “neighbors not tourists”. One of the neighbors (the one to the right of the property) went as far as putting a fake skeleton sitting on a chair holding one of the sings in their lawn so you see it as you drive up. Now, with all that said, we had ZERO issues with the neighbors. No one approached us or said anything but it was very intimidating and off putting upon our arrival and I wished we had a heads up - so here you go!

We are an international family who loves to travel with our young kids. We love nature, culture - global and local. We believe in sharing, learning and respecting. We assume our guests want privacy so we will not be on the property, but always available to answer any questions.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and an additional twin bed in the sitting room as well as a full pull-out sofa in the formal living room).

Driveway is double-wide and can accommodate cars easily.

Grocery, liquor, gas etc. is all within 5 miles.

Guest have the full exclusive use of the home, pool and yard (with the exception of two storage rooms in the basement and the garage which are used to store supplies).
As in most rural areas, the house runs on a well and septic system. So be mindful of what you put down the drain -- nothing other than toilet paper, please.
