A cousin and I hosted family thanksgiving here. As another reviewer had said, the kitchen was understocked for being able to board 6 people, so we were glad we took along extra equipment, and were able to borrow other items from a local family member.We had enough space to accommodate at least 6 people and bought fold up tables to accommodate the other 6 as we all wanted to eat together and not be scattered to the back yard, which my 84 yo uncle couldn't access. The back room was a nice place to take a quick nap or watch some football. The beverage fridge was a huge plus for freeing up fridge space for this crowd, and both were nice and cold.There are some things that need maintenance, of which I don't get that guests are reporting directly to the owner. Before departing, I gave him a list of things that needed attention, and he was receptive. Hopefully all will be resolved, bc we wouldn't mind another stay here.

The pictures online are NOT current. This place looked like a frat party had been there the night before. The backyard is nothing like the photos at all. It was sorta cleaned up, but the bathrooms were not clean, floors were gross, things broken, etc. We also didn't have any communication from the host until 10 min before check-in. Bathroom sinks need a plumber; do not drain. Do not recommend.
Damage throughout.
Broken globe in master; still in use. Nearly cut my finger off.
Strings of someone else's hair.
Toilets were gross.

My stay at Bedfords Bohemia

Check in was quick and easy! Very clean place and very spacious!! Host is wonderful this is our second time staying and we will definitely be back for a third time.

This Place was Filthy

DO NOT RENT! The house was extremely dirty. Clumps of hair on the floor all over, cobwebs, broken air conditioner in family room. Could not sit back there. Dirty dishes in cabinet, had wash pillow cases (sheets were clean) poor quality towels and no kitchen towels. Primary bathroom was dirty-had to clean it to use it. All outdoor areas run down -could not use. Dead insects in window tracks and window sill. There was a bag of trash on the porch when we arrived. Numerous times tried to contact Rowan and no reply. We left 3 days early and requested consideration for refund - never heard.

This home is beautiful! Lots of space. Comfy beds and a really awesome “great” room where the whole family can hang out together. Quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping and dining.

Visiting USAF Daughter

This was our first trip to AZ and this house was perfect for us all, so clean and comfortable! The only negative is that we couldn’t find beaters for the mixer. A cozy fire at night in the great room watching tv and laughing, we made awesome memories here. We loved everything about this house and would love to book here again soon. Thank you, Rowan, for such a beautiful first stay with our daughter!

Gem Show Stay

Clean, comfortable and reasonable place to stay. Know that you must go through the 3rd bedroom (with Murphy bed) to get to the main relaxing and TV area.

AWFUL STAY! Do not book this place!!

How does this look: This was hands down the worst VRBO experience we’ve ever had. First off, communication was nonexistent—I repeatedly asked for early check-in, and the host completely ignored me for days. He finally sent check-in instructions ONE HOUR before our agreed time, leaving us in the dark until the last minute.When we finally got inside (late, mind you), the place was disgusting. It was barely cleaned—the floors and bathrooms were not cleaned, and it was obvious that cleaning was rushed because his cleaner bailed on him last minute. He tried to clean it himself, and let’s just say…he’s no professional.To make things worse, there weren’t enough towels or bedding for everyone. How do you run a rental and not provide the basics?! Oh, and the doors? Bolted shut—a clear fire hazard. Completely unacceptable and against fire code.This place was a nightmare, and the host’s complete lack of professionalism and communication made it even worse. Save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else.

Spacious and convenient

We were there for a short stay to see our grandson who attends Arizona University. He helped organize and performed in the jazz festival. We went with our daughter, son-in-law and our dog. The location is super convenient and the house is very spacious. The beds were super comfortable and our dog loved the backyard. Rowan the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with through the booking process. It would be a great place for a family reunion.

Garbage disposal not working the first day, bathroom continued to get plugged, both bathrooms needed plunging daily, spider webs on ceiling lights, pavement out front and uneven, dangerous to walk over can easily stumble and fall. Very few kitchen utensils, one large frying pan, one medium frying pan, no pots, grill out of gas, plastic bowls(2), brked/cracked

Great Stay in an Amazing Place

the property is beautiful and the amenities are great. The beds are super comfortable and so are the sofas. I also love the location vary centralized and close to the places you would need to be near!

Amazing Get Away

Nice Place

The location was perfect for our plans. The house was clean although it is pet friendly so there was some dog hair on some of the furniture. The family room in back was a great gathering and hangout space. All in all, we were satisfied with the property and our experience at Bedford's Bohemia.
